🚫Consumer Warning – Short Circuit Solution
Buyer beware when purchasing from Short Circuit Solution.
I ordered a T-Con board for my Samsung TV and provided the correct part information from my original board. The board I received was not the correct match because the connector configuration did not match the original board in my television. I provided clear photos when they requested proof.
They later confirmed the correct board part number (35-D061834), which shows the board sent was not the correct part for my panel. Despite this, they refused to accept a return or issue a refund because their policy only allows returns if a board is dead on arrival (DOA).
Because the wrong board cannot physically be connected to the TV, it cannot even be tested to determine whether it is DOA. This effectively leaves the customer with an unusable part even when the wrong board is sent.
I worked with them politely for several weeks trying to resolve this and asked for:
• a timeframe for the correct board
• an exchange
• or a refund
🛑After requesting a resolution, communication stopped.
My experience involved:
• Providing correct part information
• Receiving a board that could not be installed
• Providing documentation and photos
• Weeks of communication without resolution
• Refusal to accept return of an unusable part
Customers should understand that their policy only allows returns if they determine a part is dead on arrival, even when the wrong part is sent and cannot be installed.
I tried to resolve this reasonably and professionally, but unfortunately was left without a working part or a refund.
