Concerning experience with management and work conditions

I joined this company after being told the role was full-time, but I later experienced significant changes due to limited onboarding and unclear expectations. I was eventually asked to reduce my hours, which created uncertainty and made it difficult to succeed in the position.

At one point, I was accused of outsourcing my work based on assumptions related to the other laptop I was using, which I had purchased from a friend. I was not given a proper opportunity to explain or clarify before conclusions were made. This situation felt unfair and professionally discouraging.

Communication from management was often harsh and, at times, personal in nature. I received remarks that questioned my capability in a way I found inappropriate. There were also delays in salary payments, which added financial stress.

Following the disagreement, my profile was reportedly flagged on an external job platform. Instead of resolving concerns through a respectful discussion, the situation felt escalated in a way that impacted my professional reputation.

I am sharing this experience so that other job seekers can make informed decisions.

Based on my experience, clearer onboarding processes, respectful communication, and fair conflict resolution would significantly improve the work environment.

Goods never received

Bought a chain in black friday sale, and the order is still stuck on waiting to be processed.

Contacted customer service and they didn't even bother to check into this.

Don't deal with them, they're either too incompetent to run a business or they're just a straight up scam.

Don't buy from them

Dealing with this brand is absolutely baffling. They don't follow their advertised policies at all, and will ignore you as much as possible if you need customer service. Returned items to them and they have not refunded me and are ignoring all of my messages asking for an update. They are thieves, and their jewelry is so overpriced for the quality. Would never recommend purchasing from them or supporting them.

Extremely Disappointed – Poor Service and No Accountability

I placed an order with Thryfty on November 28th, 2023, and the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. After weeks of waiting with no updates, I had to personally reach out to request a tracking number. The tracking number provided turned out to be invalid, and when I contacted DHL, they confirmed that they had no record of the shipment.

I emailed Thryfty multiple times requesting clarification and proof of shipment, but they have completely ignored all my messages. The lack of communication, failure to deliver, and refusal to address my concerns have left me deeply disappointed.

I trusted Thryfty as a brand, but this experience has proven them to be unprofessional and unreliable. I am now forced to escalate the issue through my payment provider to get my money back. I strongly urge others to think twice before ordering from Thryfty, as their service is unacceptable and their customer support is non-existent.

I hope this review helps others avoid the stress and frustration I’ve endured.

Non-existent customer service!

I got my pieces no problem, but when I emailed them for an exchange, it went badly. They replied and asked for photo verification, I complied. Then it took weeks and multiple emails from my end for a response saying they'll send a return label but I still have not received a return label.

I went to IG and posted comments, which got deleted. I DMed there as well, with no reply. Shady, a company trying to hide their bad behavior.

Basically, you will get your items from them but they refuse to help at all with returns/exchanges even though they claim they will.

I wouldn't recommend buying from a shop that has no respect for their customers.

Legit site

Idk what other people are smoking Thryfty is legit and I never had a problem w customer support theyre legit one of the only brands that actually answers DMs. Quality is top tier and you can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience. I’ve bought maybe 5 or 6 times now and each time is better than the last I’m happy to see them grow been a follower since 2019.

Jewellery is below average for a start. But the worst aspect of this company is the customer support and experience.

They don’t refund if the jewellery doesn’t fit. They only give you 3 DAYS to return stuff (for store credit) but you have to pay $20-40 yourself for the postage return!! Then you have to take pictures and insure the package at your own expense, send all this info and photo proof over email..?!?! The most ridiculous customer service I have ever experienced.

The owners of this company are absolute COWBOYS. Do not buy!

Customer service is non-existent

Customer service is non-existent. I have been chasing them for 5 months, tried to contact by email and via the form on their website. I have not had a single reply. The worst online customer service i have experienced.

Not a good place to buy from

Yeah they suck as to responding or helping out, i had some pieces I bought over the years talked well about them they were nice but then I received one in the mail that instantly broke I tried to contact them many times never once did I get a response.

The way you lock it doesn't work well

Bought like 5 of their chains lost 2 of them because of the way they locked. The way you lock it is just by looping one end of chain though a hole on end of it. There nothing locking them in there's nothing stopping it becoming loose and falling off

Its alright - Broken chain

On black friday 2019 i bought a chain and a T-Shirt. It arrived 4 months after i ordered, but i live in Denmark, so its fine. The chain i bought broke a few weeks ago and i was super sad, as the chain is not available in the shop anymore. I used the chain almost everyday, but i did not expect it to just break like that. The T-Shirt i still use to this day and is great quality. Very mixed feelings from Denmark
