A legit company, that is a great scheme. You can get paid and receive items in exchange for being a mystery shopper. The website is easy to navigate. Just had a few glitches when uploading photos on a phone. My problem is that they continously have an error and ask me to update my details, I then send over my details and then they lock my account anyway. It always requires me to call them and sit on the phone for a long time so that they can reactivate my after their glitch. They never answer their emails which is frustrating too. I have now stopped using shoppernow. I hope in the future they can improve this as it’s unfair.

I find the platform easy to navigate, and the instructions provided simple to follow and adequately detailed to understand precisely what is required when I am completing jobs.

I find that all the staff I deal with are approachable and professional. The range of jobs is amazing. I have had some great opportunities to do some really great assignments and I hope this can continue to 2025 and beyond.

I love actually learning from mystery shopping. The interaction with the team is fantastic, text messages when jobs pop up. Super lovely people. The app and reporting is simple and user friendly

The surveys provide a simple and easy way to give feedback on services and retail. I really enjoy doing them and they provide a great way of supplementing my income

I love meeting new people, getting to check out different companies and see what kind of reception I get when I walk into an assigned company.
Asking questions about products, gives me a better knowledge of what is out there also. I have been truly surprised some times.

These guys are awesome. Always willing to help. They often contact me for out of the way places near me for jobs which I’m happy to do.

Bit strange that the most recent review is over 18 month old and there are dozens of identical ones.
So far I see no consistency with the declared promise of remuneration (award rate plus 15% plus 25% plus superannuation) and listed pay amounts for available jobs - not even close.
For example a job comes up that suggests a remuneration of $15 for something that must take at least an hour (supposed minimal fee) and another hour to write a report if it is to be as comprehensive as required. This is wage theft. Probably Fairworks call first thing in the morning.

Edited to reply: No, I gave a specific example of $15 job which proves that you do not strive to ensure anything remotely resembling fairness and transparency. What you list is not lower than expected, it is lower than legally possible in Australia. Please refer to Fairworks ombudsman for specific information.

It's a great side hustle to have. You have the ease of selecting the jobs that are suitable for you. If a problem should happen, getting in touch with them is incredibly simple, and they are more than happy to help!

This job is nice little side hustle, perfect for anyone looking to earn some money on the side! There's a wide variety of stores to choose from and the support team is very helpful!

My first experience as a mystery shopper… as soon as I’d completed job, I tried entering all the details but the server kept crashing. I then tried a couple more times when I got home, same issue. That was frustrating but I understand sometimes there are issues with technology. So the job took more time than anticipated which really wasn’t worth the small amount of remuneration as it took me 50 minutes alone in the round trip. I would like to give it another go though but have been waiting to see that I get paid for the first job. I received pay slip by email today but haven’t seen funds in my account as of now.

As a long time employee of Creative Activation I have seen a lot of changes in the way mystery shopping as evolved. Shopper Now has now way too many shoppers for the amount of jobs they offer. Unless you are logged into the website when a job is released it is virtually impossible for to pick up an assignment. The pay is very low for the amount of work required and often does not equate to minimum wage once you factor in selecting, training, traveling, the site visit and then reporting and uploading receipts and photos. There is never any positive feedback for a job well done but negative feedback is often written in a terse and condescending way. Communication is often difficult and is only allowed by email or on the website and often takes more than 24 hours for a response. After hours is impossible as there are no listed phone numbers to call. The website has recently been slow and unreliable often disconnecting in the middle of reporting and resulting in the loss of the information that has been entered. If you are prepared to spend the time constantly checking the website and you are happy to perform the assignments for the pay that is offered then good for you, for me it is no longer worthwhile. I am writing this review independently and it is not in response to the recent offer by Shopper Now to win a $50 gift voucher for adding a Trust Pilot review.

Shopper now is not a great company to work for. At times you can be left out of pocket jobs cost you more than you are actually initially quoted then you have to wait until you are paid to be reimbursed this can take up to 2 weeks such a long time. They send back picky reviews saying you must call a shop a restaurant. No regular work. The pay is very low for example one job i did i was paid $29.40 and I had to spend $18. Way under the award wage. They always text you jobs that are in towns up to 2hrs away. Why don't they text the locals that live there? Might be ok for a hobby but it certainly doesn't pay the bills. THey would probably get more people to work if they do cash or restaurant gift cards in the hand instead of taxing everyone so much.

I have nothing but great things to say about shopper now, such a great way to earn some extra money, very flexible, you pick the jobs you do & what days work best for you so it is very convenient and straight forward. Shopper now is such an excellent company to work for, they have been very helpful, professional & understanding my whole time being part of the team I am absolutely loving being a mystery shopper, I’m excited for this new venture as I’ve never done something like this before and I’m so glad I took the leap and applied for this job, i look forward to the future of being apart of the shopper now team.

Low involvement from the beginning and you can as fewer jobs as you like. The more you want to get involved the more challenging it has been for me to rely on there being consistent work and the feasibility of actually getting to some jobs when the cash payout is minimal.
If you can make arrangements to go to your regular place of work or plan some errands close to the location of a job, then you can find it quite fruitful.
Would like to see a more engaging push notifications when jobs in my area come to be available as I will often miss out when not checking the forum each week.
