This surveyor was booked by the buyers of my property he showed up at 7am scaled my gates with his ladder and spent 2.5hrs wandering around the grounds of my property instead of going to estate agents to pick up keys. The estate agent had instead to drive out to let him in the inside of property- not what had been agreed at all. He had so much time surveying the outside of the property that I wasn't surprised he put the buyers off and they have discontinued the sale. He builds into his terms and conditions that the buyer of the survey cannot share the results with the seller. Very unprofessional.

We were looking for a building surveyor to visit and walk around the outside of our house with us and discuss certain concerns I had, hopefully offering some advice.
I contacted Craig at Sherwood Surveyors from my internet search and we agreed a day and time.
Before the agreed appointment I got full documentation via email, explaining with great clarity the terms of the survey visit I had requested, together with an invoice. Craig arrived on time and we started to have a very relaxed discussion as I showed him some items that I was seeking advice over.
Conclusion: so easy to chat with in a very relaxed manner, gave clear information and advice on every item I mentioned and several I hadn’t.
My wife and I don’t always agree on much, however, we absolutely agreed that this was both the best decision I had ever made and the best money we had ever spent. Where we were previously unsure of how to proceed in almost every area, we now have a clear plan, no longer based on just our ‘feelings’ but on the lifetime knowledge of an experienced professional.
