I've been doing SEO for more than 28 years and using WordPress for about 15 years. The people giving bad reviews for SEOPress Pro obviously don't have a clue.

Compared to Yoast and RankMath, SEOPress Pro blows them away. No SEO plugin is responsible for you ranking well in search engines. There is no magic plugin for that and using a plugin does not replace needing to hire an SEO professional.

However, SEOPress Pro saves me a ton of time doing the things I need to do in order to rank sites well.

At Chris McElroy SEO Agency, if I'm working on a website in WordPress, we will always be using SEOPress Pro.

This is by far the worst SEO plugin I’ve ever used. There’s no money-back guarantee and customer support is basically nonexistent. When I contacted them to fix a bug, they only replied after a week—and even then, they provided no real help. Every time you need assistance, you’re forced to wait endlessly for a response.

The plugin creates conflicts with themes and other plugins, and it doesn’t save modifications or updates properly, making it impossible to check if your articles are truly optimized. I gave it a fair chance for over a month, but nothing improved—no fixes, no results.

Some people may say the problem is with my site, but I tried everything on my end. The issue is with the plugin itself. To make matters worse, when I requested a refund after just 10 days, they flat-out refused.

From my personal experience, this is the worst plugin I’ve ever purchased. Maybe it works for others, but for me it was a complete waste of time and money—especially with support being absolutely useless.

We have a Pro license for our website bryanston.co.uk and have now sent 4 emails over the past few weeks via the contact form on their website and received no response. The plugin needs updating but I can't login.

Zero customer support even on paid plans :(

My agency’s business model focuses on an all-in-one online solution for businesses of all stages but has a strong focus on startups. Partnering with an SEO tool is imperative in ensuring that clients do not have to seek out multiple service providers for their online needs.

After extensive research into the many available WordPress plugin tools available, including the top names (Yoast, AIOSEO, etc.), I decided to try SEOPress as I was very impressed with how their pricing structure aligned with our focus on catering to budget conscious startups yet was still so feature rich and up to date. I was admittedly skeptical given how much of a difference there was in the price point vs some of the top and most used names.

I am confident that I made the right choice. Not only does it have all the features of some of the names I have tried, but it also has some additional ones that they did not, and it will enable my agency to offer the full pro version at a reasonable price in both custom-built full-service packages and ala carte to our DIY clients building their sites incrementally.

The fact that it is 100% white label out of the box with no partnership application process is astounding to me and our clients will reap the benefits.

The customer service has been quick and knowledgeable both pre and post purchase as well. Thank you SEOPress.

Highly recommend if you already SEO professional which plan for start up own web+seo agency. Even my agency friend also highly recommend this . Not pricey and unlimited clients.

For own company which have few project and own ecosystem , can try seopress+ubersuggest at beginning , for more client , seopress+seo powersuites can be ideal tools.

I have been in IT Management and Consulting for 4 decades, mostly in Atlanta, and half with Fortune Corporations. I've recently retired as a Federal IT Mgr and created a few sites for myself. I researched the leading SEO plugins from 2021 thru 2023 and here are my results.
Based on my professional experience, I studied reviews of SEO products and services for a couple of years now. I don't hesitate to ignore reviews that present a low emotional IQ and I embrace those with a higher level of critical thinking and explanation of pros and cons, for example.
So, from 2021-2023, I've used Yoast, RankMath, and SEOPress. I've had to deal with support with all 3 of them. And, like others, I've dealt with bugs or issues with all 3 of them. I am very detailed in researching issues before I resort to a support ticket. No app is perfect all the time and no support is 24x7 in these price ranges.
So, with that said, they all do basic SEO well but SEOPress makes the most sense in their use of terminology for SEO practices. Yoast was the oldest and was sticking with some old thinking for requirements. RankMath had a few things that weren't true anymore and clicking a button to use a feature crashed my site. Coupled with some other bugs that remained unresolved, I changed ultimately to the up-and-coming SEOPress. Their plugin and documentation were easier to understand. Their approach and terminology was current with today's SEO standards. They address all issues with a professional manner and a logical approach. And, they do have an unlimited site allowance as I've used it. I have the Pro version and it's extremely cost effective. Neil Patel has high praises for SEOPress and so do I, up to a point.

I've had a few support issues that were handled properly and nearly all of them required a minor version update release for the product. Eventually, in mid-2023, I began to notice that the past year for my site really was slowly declining. So, after several months of multiple different SEO attempts, I decided to abandon SEOPress and migrate over to AIOSEO (All in One SEO). After 3 weeks, I started to see an improvement and it continue for 3-4 more weeks so, I won't be renewing SEOPress. However, it's still a good plugin but I needed something with more details to show me where I needed site improvement and AIOSEO did this. The initial AIOSEO scores were showing most posts around in the 70s and 80s (after having been on SEOPress with their good scores). So, after working to attain AIOSEO scores in the mid to upper 90s, I noticed much improvement. AIOSEO is extremely expensive but you get what you pay for. Again, for the price, SEOPress is fine but I needed more features to show me where else to improve.

They restricted our unlimited licenses, they have gimmicky unlimited licenses. Their T&C restricts license usage and makes it a worthless product.

SEOpress pro fait très bien son travail en restant très discret. Le plugin ne ralentit pas le site.

Cool SEO plugin. My web design agency used this on my site and I like the feature set. Very powerful plugin it seems!

I see web creators and designers constantly ask how to handle SEO on their builds and my response is always:

Sadly their service is crap when you have a problem regarding getting in to the account. The choose not to react, I guess the want the sale but ndon nothing more.

SEOPress puts you in control of your search engine optimization. You can make your own HTML and XML sitemaps, control and change meta information and page titles and even incorporate open graphs for social sharing. The PRO version has some additional useful features, such as Google Page Speed checks, Google Analytics support, 404 error monitoring, and a backlink checker (which does require a Majestic account).

I’ve been using SEOPress for my company ever since. We are ranking top 10 results on every keyword we targeted and the plugin helped a lot!

As much as I found it hard to get rid of Yoast, I am very comfortable using SEOPress. It provides the essential functions to be able to manage your SEO and its interface is really simple and efficient.
I can only recommend using it!

Simplicity and efficiency! We are often lost and disoriented in terms of SEO on WordPress. The SEOPress plugin makes it possible to have good bases to start!

Simple and powerful! SEOPress is really impressive of simplicity. SEO is not easy to understand but with SEOPress, you have to fill some fields "Et voilà !" And above all, the PRO version has an excellent value for money. You can try it but be careful, you will love it.

Great SEO plugin for WordPress. I’m using it on all my websites without any issues. Highly recommended... and the PRO version is just a bargain for all the advantages it brings... Try it you’ll never regret it.

SEOPress as any other tool needs te properly configured to manage correctly your SEO.

Personally, I've switched literally dozens of websites from Yoast without any problems. It's fast, white label and provides all the basics and advanced features to perform.

I would never recommend this terrible plugin. I had two ready made tech websites receiving millions of impressions a month.

I decided to use SEOpress, and literally their plugin broke the SEO of my site dropping my millions of impressions into thousands.

They have terrible customer support, and they are not very helpful neither their product.

Would never recommend SEOPress. Stay away from this plugin.
