Sent my BT share certificate and completed paperwork by recorded post which arrived on the 6th November 2024. Eight days later the 13th (including weekend) not had an acknowledgement or payment, so rang. After some searching around I was advised that the shares had not been sold yet. Five days not sold and would not have been actioned if I had not rang, shocking. The price had since dropped. I explained that their web site says two or three days to sell. Told the web pages are incorrect. How unprofessional. Asked if I wanted the share certificate back. I said yes.

I am in the process of selling all my paper share certificates and I received the funds today for my first sales transactions. I will be using this Company again as I have more paper certificates to sell and I recommend to others.

I was apprehensive about selling my share certificates on line because I had never done this before and there was a considerable amount of money involved. However, sellmysharecertificates.com made the process blissfully easy and efficient with a most excellent response to several of my telephone queries.

I have a small number of share holdings (<5K) which I bought years ago when I was somewhat more flush with cash (i.e., before a family).

I was hoping to sell two of my share certificates and, having barely looked at them for 10 years, had no real idea how to do this.

I found equiniti, AJ Bell, and Hargreaves Lansdown to be either overpriced (Equiniti), or have a sales process that was time consuming and complicated (open account, send share certs in post, they then get registered by the company, you then notify the company to sell said shares, and on and on).

I found 'sellmysharecertificates' online and filled in their super simple forms having read their really clear info pack.

Timeline was as follows:

1. Sat 21 May - Posted 2 x share certificates with paperwork (took about 15 mins to do the paperwork).

2. Wed 25 May - received 2 x contract notes.

3. Mon 10 Jun - received c. £1800 direct to my account, having paid £50 to the company (£25 per sale of share certificate).

Of note, 'sellmysharecerts' do clearly state that funds usually take 10 working days to clear, plus another 2-3 days for a BACS payment. Ergo, I had no issues with the time between the contract note being received, and the proceeds landing in my account.

So easy, good value, no faff - £50 and 15 mins of time spent, to gain £1800.

I will use them again and recommend them to anyone else who just wants a simple, no nonsense way to sell share certs.

Have used them previously without a problem but on this occasion they were useless. Centrica Share certificates sent over 10 days ago and in the absence of a contract note I rang them to find that the deal had still not executed. At first said they needed to open an account for me which was wrong Then tried to claim they needed to do further identity checks which seems strange since I have used them previously and nothing has changed. In the meantime share price has fallen back. I've asked them to return my share certificates and will deal direct with Equiniti when I decide to sell again.

Recently sold some shares. Simple and quick to transact - a great low cost option.

Made a phone call before I posted certificates as one was torn and damaged and answered straight away of what to do.

Have sold shares in the past with others, having to create online account etc, but on this occasion just fill out document post recorded and go, found them to be outstanding !.

Very impressive. Did take 10 working days for the money to land, but that's what they said to expect. Sold on a day with big fluctuations and they got close to the high on the day. Not sure if by design or by chance but I was very pleased.

Found Jarvis Investment Management through sellmysharecertificates.com to sell my elderly mothers shares for her.

I provided Jarvis with share certificates, Crest forms signed by my mother, covering letter and Enduring Power of Attorney by special delivery.

Linda requested further ID and I provided original Council Tax bill and latest Nationwide bank statement by special delivery.

Linda requested letter proof of address from mothers care home, which they provided, but in the meantime Oliver returned everything to me, including share certificates!

Tried to 'phone Jarvis but gave up after waiting in queue for one hour 15 minutes!

I can hardly be regarded as unreliable. I'm a Doctor and have owned a holiday letting business for over 15 years. Jarvis should be ashamed of their treatment of people trying to help their elderly parents!

Excellent service and less than half the price of some competitors for the same service. Advice - read all the FAQ first. Complete the required forms IAW the examples given and, if in any doubt, call the office to clarify. I screwed up by not completing extra paperwork for additional share certificates, however, a quick call sorted matters out. I must admit I was very dubious as one reads of so many scams but, having confirmed this is a healthy and genuine business I 'took the plunge'. The money was in my bank account exactly as agreed. Well Done!

Simple, secure and cost-effective. Best to send your certificates by registered post. Worked like a charm - received payment in my bank account 14 days + 2 working days for BACS after receipt by them of the certificates. No requirement to set up an account.
