The process simply takes too long!
I understand the need, but I answered many, many of the same questions for SelectQuote and then again when I spoke with an actual insurance company rep.

Maybe it’s the form that asked the same questions 6+ times. Maybe it was the 1.5 hours to answer the questions. Maybe it was the multiple phone calls afterwards. You decide.

John Brennan at SelectQuote was very helpful in providing the different life insurance policy options, including the various term lengths and monthly payment choices. He made the comparison process easy and provided clear information, so we could make an informed decision.

The only thing I didn’t love was having to follow up myself on the status of the application, our medical records submission, and the medical underwriting approval. I would have preferred more proactive updates throughout the process.

Overall, it was a good experience, and I would recommend SelectQuote. This is the third policy we’ve purchased through them, and they continue to offer solid service and helpful agents.

Ease of communication

Each of the representatives were for the most part timely in their responses back to me on outstanding questions. Had a sense of no real pressure to sign but rather what was best for me and then the time to consider. Only negative (but a very small negative :) ) is that several times when the signup email with link was sent it either was expired or reflected not up-to-date information. Overall rating was positive.

I consulted with a member representative about increasing my coverage. All of my questions were answered clearly and I was able to decide on the coverage that worked for our budget and needs. It was an easy transition to the new policy.
