I’ve never had service so awful
I’ve never had service so awful that I felt I needed to write a review!
I brought my IPad for a battery replacement. It’s an older model so they had to order the battery. They gave me fair warning it would take a week and a half.
After not hearing back for 2 weeks I decided to call. They informed me that they had ordered the wrong battery and they ordered the correct one and it would be arriving within a couple days.
I get that it happens and they assured me the battery would get there in a couple days and they would call.
The tech called me, however she was calling regarding a completely different electronic. Realizing her mistake assured me I would be fixed in a few days.
Called a few days later…battery hasn’t arrived yet, we will call you when we receive it.
Never called so I called and they informed me that the shipping company tried to deliver the battery but they were out of the office for an “event” and were hoping it would be redelivered the next day.
At this point I told them they have two days and that I would be picking up my iPad either fixed or unfixed because we were at the 3 week mark and this is getting frustrating and I was tired of the lack of communication.
The morning I was planning to come, I got a call from one of the employees saying that the tech left a post it on my iPad saying they didn’t get to it and that if I took it back they would not refund my deposit. The battery had finally been delivered.
The icing on the cake is the case my iPad was in came back scratched and liquid marks were in on the inside.
I can’t get a hold of anyone at this point to complain and probably will loose my deposit.
They broke my screen and tried to make me pay for it, they refused to fix it.
Took my phone down there today to get a battery replaced. They inspected the phone, noted the battery was bloated. The screen was not damaged in the slightest. They called me to tell me they broke the screen when removing it to get to the battery. They want me to pay for it. Nope. They refused to replace what they broke saying "you signed a paper"... NEGATIVE 5 stars if I could.

My phone was turned off within a little over a month, before purchasing a regular monthly plan which is more cheaper. Basically it’s ridiculous.
Don’t take your devices here to be repaired!!!
My husband took his iPhone 13 Pro Max to have the screen replaced and was told it would be done in 20 minutes. Went back to get it and was told the Apple logo was appearing but that’s all it was doing. Keep in mind the phone was working fine before just needed a screen replacement. I do have video proof of all of our conversation about the phone when I went to pick it up. All that was offered was a “deep discount” to replace my daughter’s iPad screen. No thanks sir, you’ve done enough already and I don’t want stuff I pay good money for worked on by people like that. I have taken the phone to another mobile repair shop and after a diagnostic test it turns out that the guy at Selectel has damaged the display port on the motherboard. I do not recommend taking anything here to be fixed. They don’t want to stand by their customer service & if they mess up your device then oh well.

Selectel Wireless in Baxley not only fixed my screen, replaced my battery and charge port at a VERY reasonable price but gifted me a free new case but a charger as well and even more importantly when a misunderstanding occurred and gave me a little bit of a scare Sintia (and yes I spelled that right) took complete control and handled the situation with professionalism and class that I could not muster she is a credit to the company and a absolute pleasure to work with I HIGHLY recommednd selectel wireless

Terrible company
Terrible company, especially to work for, the owner is so out of touch and clearly doesn't know how to run a business on his own. He has had failed businesses before but is very arrogant and does not even allow a manager to contact him directly, must be through district managers, he also double dipped on receiving government funds during the acp program. You will get a " good" deal on a phone but you don't get as much data as the plan claims you get.

The Selectel Wireless in Thomasville Ga is a joke as far as repair service is concerned. The customer service was awful. They ended up keeping my phone almost 2 weeks while lying at least 3 times when I called for an update. The online advertising said quick same day service. So dissatisfied.

On this Tues 06/17/2025 I came to the hayneville store today to bring a customer to get a phone and I was looking for Tikita Davenport who sold me my first phone & two up grades but I was told she no longer worked there which hurt my heart cause I'm a senior citizen and she was so nice, patient and explained everything I didn't understand thanks to her I learned how to use a touch phone she was so professional always helped other friends of mine too her co worker did a good job but Tikita was sweet friend lady always ready to help you no matter what my rating is lower now because of that please give bring her back

I am a customer and pay my bill on time or early every month yet they shut me off because I didnt say to stack my payment. They have done this on more than one occasion. They need to fix this issue so that people who pay on time and rely on the phone and service to be able to contact emergency contacts when needed. Of course they do this on a Sunday when the in store is closed. It's like they think its funny to rip people off and mess with them. I used the chat option on the buisness page and they said they would TRY and fix this issue. I thought it would be illegal to shut someone off before a bill is due . They do it to people who cant afford to change companies to just be bullies and its wrong.

My daughter brought in her IPhone 13 because it wasn't charging. "N" took it in the back to look at it. Came out and said he broke the phone. He would order a part to fix it and come back. We did but his fix didn't work. He told us to use ESIM and he would pay for it. ESIM did not work. We ended up having to buy a new phone. At the time all this was happening he informed us that he was watching YOU TUBE videos to learn what to do because he was new to this. Can I post a negative number. Select Tel shut my phone off and I'm set up with direct debit. I called customer service (what a screwed up mess) my bank statement showed the withdrawal, they argued with me that they did not receive payment, however they have my credit card right in front of them. After 58 minutes I was able to get issue resolved. I would not recommend SelectTel to anyone anywhere.

Selectel representatives, numerous different people, insisted that the account number was the phone number. The account number is 8 digits not 10 Had to completely change phone number when changing carriers because the idiots ar Selectel didn’t know the account number or supposed PIN.
