Absolutely rubbish, You will lose money might as well throw it out the window. Don't invest on this site or you won't see your money back, and if you do, it will £0.99p in about 10 years time

Quiet difficult to sell shares, high fees which eat into any profits made. Much better platforms to invest on.

4 companies invested in, all either dissolved before my eyes or have diluted the share price so much mine are now practically worthless. Over 8 years I've lost about £2K. Don't go near this platform!

I find following an unsubscribe link embedded within such spam a poor course of action, it both confirms my email (thereby allowing you sell my data to another party) and requires effort on my part which is unlikely to result in success, after all, why would I believe that someone who bought my data to use in breach of GDPR would then act with integrity to stop pestering me. I find 1 star trust pilot and google reviews bring the consequences of such behaviour into sharp focus and whilst equally unlikely to put and end to the spam, it does provide a sense of redressing the balance in the universe. I await you next spam email with glee.

ho investito in almeno 20 aziende su questa piattaforma, fin da 2016 (prima si chiamava Seedrs, ma sono sempre loro!), oggi apparentemente sono in guadagno, ma è impossibile vendere le mie "azioni", nessuno le compra, tanto meno l'azienda che le ha emesse. Forse sarebbero interessanti se le vendessi al -30% o -50% del loro valore "dichiarato"!
Sono molto deluso! altri investimenti che ho fatto sempre qui si sono volatilizzati, quindi in 9 anni ho investito in 20 aziende ma è come se avessi buttato i miei soldi al vento.

I have been investing on Seedrs for 4 years now and have watched the service they provide deteriorate year on year.

The customer service is slow and unresponsive and when they do get round to responding, they can never help and send you a link to an article which is usually unrelated to your query.

It also seems to take them 2 or 3 times as long to get the tax documents versus other platforms (eg Crowdcube). Whilst I initially thought that this was due to investee companies, after querying with them they have confirmed that it's Seedrs/Republic causing the delays.

For the fees that they charge investors and investee companies, I would expect slightly attentiveness.

I will be using Crowdcube for any future EIS/SEIS investments.

Worse than useless - a total scam and appalling 'customer service'

This is a very poor crowdfunding site. There appears to be no oversight at all once businesses are funded and in general there is an appalling lack of communication from the invested firms. I have made six investments in Seedrs/Republic and so far four have failed.
The latest, Easyhire last reported in September 2024 " we are on track to achieve profitability in Q4". then an update on March 5 2025 saying that the Company is now in liquidation!! Unbelievable and of course no comment from Seedrs/Republic. Best to avoid this platform and use an intermediary that actually cares about its investors.

Do not use this platform unless you are absolutely comfortable losing your money. This isn’t just a calculated investment risk it is no different to gambling.
Most fold and usually just after a second round of funding. Just had another one fold.

There’s something not quite right here with Seedrs and the way it’s run. You’ll get all the BS promises and over valued pricing in the pitches but seldom does that deliver.

Truthfully. Start a stocks and shares ISA, this is just not worth your time or money.

Just a heads up, I've been notified my account is being terminated. It seems seedrs want this legal fraud to be brushed under the carpet. So silence the criticism is the new target. Shameful once again

I am buying here for 6 years and now, it is time for me to sell. Unfortunately, it is impossible since my shares "variane portfolio" are ineligible for sale.

It was the same last year!

DON’T TRUST SEEDRS!!

As an entrepreneur who used Seedrs many years ago, I would like to share my experience with the platform.

Investors used Seedrs to invest in my company several years ago. In December 2023, we sold the company’s assets and officially closed the business. We had around 15 shareholders. All shareholders have been paid—except for Seedrs investors.

I have made dozens of calls and sent numerous emails to Seedrs, yet they still haven’t claimed the money from the liquidator.

Their process is ridiculous, a complete waste of time for everyone involved, and, more importantly, I believe it is extremely dishonest and unfair to the investors who trusted their platform.

I do not recommend anyone to use Seedrs.

It’s a shame.

I have invested significant amount of money via this platform (now Republic). And lost all of it. Without any clear communication from the platform and no reflection what so ever. I deleted my account and would highly recommend anyone to stay away as far as possible from this platform. Even till the end when it was clear my return on the investment would be down to zero it shows that i would be making a significant win.

They have been withholding information the whole time, blocking investors from selling their shares and then ensuring that a small group of investors make a tone of money for the sake of earlier investors in the business. Seeders let that happen and I see as equally guilty as the dodgy management of Bux. They should be all in prison!! Stay away from this platform unless you want to lose all of your money. Brilliant idea, and no doubt an incredibly challenging business to operate, however the lack of support, clear communication, and generally the lack of transparency leaves these most investors (and startups) really uncertain about the future of the company and the relationship we have with them.
It's supposed to be simpler to invest in startups via SeedRs, and they've actually made it LESS transparent and open, instead becoming a bottleneck of information and an absolutely crap custodian of our investments.

I've been with SeedRs (now europe.republic.com) for about 5 years, and in that time I've never had an occasion to sing their praises, but on many occasions I've felt they could just "up and run" with my money at any point. Really disappointing.

Worst platform ever. Can not withdraw your own funds out of it.

UPDATE ON 29/12-24. FUNDS HAS NOW BEEN RECEIVED. IT SEEMS THAT SEEDRS SUPPORT WORKS - I WAS JUST UNLUCKY WITH THE FIRST CONTACT.
UPDATE ON 19/12-24. THE ISSUE IS NOW SOLVED BY SUPPORT. I AM WAITING FOR THE TRANFER TO GO THROUGH. IF FUNDS IS RECEIVED I WILL UPDATE AGAIN

I cannot withdraw funds from my account with Seedrs / Republic.
I have tried to contact “support” for assistance - with no results. They just ignore me - or they are in financial problems and cannot transfer money.
