Fabulous trip to Cambodia with See Asia Differently. Peter was super and worked with us to put together a really special trip doing all the things we really wanted to see and do. Team in the ground were organised and helpful and everything was smooth. Can’t recommend the team highly enough they know Cambodia really well what works and doesn’t work and have the team to deliver it.

All processes easy, clear and so helpfull to provide all information and confidence that we, travelers, look for when we prepare a tailormade trip. In this case, Thailand & Cambodia. The advice of Peter Jones and all the team and the service at destination by them and all partners has been superve. Be sure that they will get you to the best experience. We will repeat!!! 😜

I had a great experience with See Asia Differently!! My itinerary was very thoughtfully created to fit my desires, and I wanted to avoidhewvy crowded and high traffic areas for tourists in Bali. My trip was perfect, adventurous, and simultaneously relaxing. Mika was a wonderful tour guide and I didn't have to stress about when or how I would get around. Overall it was an amazing trip and I will definitely use them again!

After hoping / wishing to visit Vietnam for 15 years we finally completed our dream trip this winter break. Luckily we decided to go with the tour group “See Asia Differently” to plan our trip. We had looked at other tour companies but thought that they were too expensive or they involved a group tour, rather than private tour. We provided See Asia Differently with our desires – visiting North, Central, and Southern Vietnam; and the need for interesting and engaging activities for our 4 teenage kids – and they did the rest. Our trip took us from Hanoi to Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City. The tour group chose all the accommodations and made all the internal Vietnam flight reservations. Each day we started with a tasty breakfast, which was satisfying for everyone in our family of 6. The food was so good and plentiful that we often did not want or need to have lunch, but instead an early dinner.

What were some of the activities the kids enjoyed? Hiking in the jungle, birdwatching, looking for and finding Delacour’s Langur monkey (only 200 left in the wild), kayaking, exploring caves, watching monkeys roam around pagodas, squid fishing, swimming, rickshaws, cruising in Ha Long Bay and being surprised with a birthday cake for our youngest, squeezing in the Cu Chi Tunnels, being the only ones in a 5,000 capacity church, seeing how many items people could carry on a motorbike, and even learning to cross the busy streets. Our guide in Ho Chi Minh even taught our kids how to play “foot badminton”.

As parents we enjoyed these activities too, even more so, because we did not have to worry about the logistics of how to get there, when to get there, who to pay, how much to pay, and where to go when we got hungry. All of this was taken care of by the tour guides. If we were hungry for lunch, then they would ask us what type of food we wanted and called ahead and made reservations, so when we arrived all was prepared. My only concern is that the kids do not expect this type of premium service now that we have returned back home.

Now for the fun part of reliving the memories as we go through the 10,000+ photos that were taken. I would definitely recommend See Asia Differently – they kept us healthy, well fed, and provided exceptional service throughout the trip so that all of us had the opportunity of a lifetime.

My wife, 17 year old daughter and I had amazing, personalized service from the moment we landed on Day 1 to the minute we were dropped off at the airport to come home on Day 9. Peter was extremely accommodating, and ensured we were provided with excellent English speaking guides and drivers. We had a short visit in Bangkok to see an old friend, followed by a once in a lifetime Cambodian experience in Siem Reap. Our Guide was a fountain of historial knowledge and ou driver was attentive and kind. Vietnam (Hoi An) was no different, with our guide providing an unforgettable couple of days. Hands doen one of the easiest and most worry free trips Iwe have taken. Cannot recommend See Asia differnetly strongly enough!

The customer service and support both in planning my month long trip to Vietnam & Thailand, and whilst I was travelling, was superb. I would happily use See Asia Differently again and have already recommended to a number of friends.

Myself and a friend took a 2 week vacation throughout Cambodia. See Asia Differently was excellent. They were very attentive to our wants even when we wanted to changes and the last minute. The driver was awesome, always on time and knew where to go. The hotel choices could not have been any better. We were pampered and completely happy with our trip. If you are going to Asia you should use this company.

I contact Peter as I was looking for someone with in-dept knowlege of South East Asia. My family and I wanted to go to Asia and we set for Bali. Peter was very helpful in guiding us and listening to our wishes. Together we put together and an exciting itinerary and the choice of hotels was perfect. We particularly enjoyed staying at the Dynasty resort in Menjangang. Peter was very responsive and even when we had to re-organise some of our trip on last minute, things were taken into hands and sorted out quickly. Our guides and driver in Bali were super friendly, helpful always happy to help and even show us things that were not technically on our itinerary. I can highly recommend Peter and his team and I hope to be able to book another trip with him soon.

I had a fabulous time in Flores in no small part due to See Asia Differently. As a single traveller I usually prefer group package tours in areas where it is harder to travel independently however, after Covid these were few and far between in Flores and so this was my first experience booking privately.

The agent talked me through everything including the itinerary, what to expect and kept me informed all the way through the booking process, he even shared his own experiences of travelling in the region and gave advice on the best time to travel weather wise.

The hotel accommodation far exceeded my expectations, with spacious rooms, a pool area and a private beach, it was a really beautiful setting. Whilst still popular the island stands in stark contrast to more tourist centric Bali and still has a quiet, understated vibe.

The trek to Wae Rebo was a very memorable experience the accommodation is of a basic standard and communal but the time spent interacting with the local people and seeing the spectacular views, is something I will remember for a long time. I remember standing outside of my accommodation and looking up at the beautifully clear night sky where I saw all the stars twinkling it was very special.

The boat trip around the local islands was another memorable moment in the trip. The boat ride involved multiple stops for swimming, trekking and snorkelling including the most anticipated stop for me the Komodo dragons.

Every moment was perfect! The food was excellent, the staff so helpful and the location unbeatable. From seeing the flight of uncountable flying foxes, swimming with manta rays and huge tropical fish and seeing dolphins jump from the ocean, this trip was an unmissable experience and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Flores.

My friend and I have just returned from a fabulous trip to Vietnam organized by Peter. Peter was fantastic and very kind in helping us organize the trip and was also always available during our stay. We spent 20 days in Vietnam starting in the north and ending in the south. Obviously 20 days are not enough for those who want to visit all of Vietnam but they are enough to understand how beautiful and fascinating this country is. We had the perfect amount of free days to allow us to see other things not included in the tour and to enjoy ourselves.

We’d originally booked a trip to Cambodia independently, but it was cancelled due to COVID, so when we decided to use an agent the 2nd time of booking, we approached a couple of well-known companies, but I also saw See Asia Differently advertising in our local press so approached them too.

Having had an itinerary in mind already, it was refreshing to work with Peter who listened to what we wanted, and they won the battle of the quotes, not just on price, but also for his flexibility and the fact that Peter has lived in Cambodia himself and has 1st hand knowledge of the country with personal friends and colleagues there too.

Our holiday experience lived up to the promise, with everything going to plan. One thing we hadn’t decided on originally was any tours, but Peter organised our trips as well. There are a lot to choose from, but as a minimum, Angkor Temples are a must, the Palace in Phnom Penh and a trip to Cambodia isn’t complete without a sobering visit to the Killing Fields. All the trips were private for our group & guides were all excellent.

The choice of hotels was spot on for us in terms of quality and location and Peter’s suggestion that we go a little further out to Koh Rong Sanloem island, just out of Sihanoukville, for our beach stint was well worth every minute getting there.

I have no hesitation in recommending this company for your visit to Cambodia, plus a spcial mention to the charming Cambodian people we met along the way who just couldn't do enough for us.

When I discovered See Asia Differently on the internet, I was looking for mainly 2 things and that was to vacation in either Cambodia or Laos and to have an up close and personal encounter with elephants. I contacted the company through e-mail and the founder and CEO, Peter Jones promptly replied. Over the next 11 months we e-mailed back and forth and Peter created a customized tour for a friend and me. When my friend canceled on me, I almost canceled too because I didn't want to travel alone. What a mistake that would have been! I traveled to Cambodia and had one of the best vacations ever! When I experienced some personal difficulties while on vacation, I reached out to the company for help and Peter came through for me. He was so kind and understanding about my unique situation and I am extremely grateful to him for helping me out when he didn't have to. My tour guides were very knowledgeable, respectful and spoke very good English. My first tour guide was Sopea and he showed me around all over Phnom Penh. Ra, my second tour guide was with me for 7 days showing me around Mondulkiri Province, Kratie and Siem Reap. Ra was kind, witty , respectful and extremely charming! He really looked after my well-being making sure I was safe and happy. The entire company including the drivers, tour guides and CEO took great care of me. I highly recommend See Asia Differently to anyone interested in visiting South East Asia. By the way, my up close and personal encounter with the elephant was purely magical!

I had a wonderful time on my tour by See Asia Differently! My trip was pretty last minute with only a few weeks notice, and when I contacted the company Peter worked closely with me to design a trip that I would love based on the limited information I gave him. He always kept budget in mind and gave great advice on where to go, what to look out for, and how to make the most of my trip. When I was having doubts or concerns because this was my first solo trip he was always available to walk me through everything.
The local guides hired through See Asia Differently were incredible. My guide in Laos went way above and beyond, even taking me to his own local village to find the baby carrier my friend desperately wanted.
Would 100% book through them again!!

Definitely worth using a tour agent as our trip had to be rescheduled 3 times due to poor weather & lack of tourists flights got cancelled & hotels shut.
But the experience was excellent & very well organised. The operations manager, Brian, kept in constant contact with us via WhatsApp and our driver/guide Ra was such fun and looked after us incredibly. I certainly wouldn't try self-driving in Cambodia.
This was my second trip with See Asia Differently and we'll definitely be using them again in future years. They also managed to fit in a short tour of Bangkok on the way home when we had a long wait at the airport!
