I really don’t know what to do about my issues with this company. My husband trusted securahome implicitly. We had a conservatory then a new roof and bifolds and now sash windows. In May my husband died leaving me to secure my home as best I could without him here as my support. I decided to follow through with his wishes and have securahome come and install sash windows. They came in a trice. They promised fast and efficient installation. All of that was true except for the installation which had left me feeling very insecure in my own home. They chased me for payment 3 phone calls two emails. The bill was paid within 2 days of installation but now I have absolutely no faith or trust in them. Many say their customer service is non existent I did not credit it until experiencing it. I have written phoned filled out forms on line and nothing other than being told they have noted my contact 2144 I have informed them of my intention to contact trading standards after hearing a program about how trading standards want to cut down on this type of behaviour by companies. However I’m loathed to because of my husbands views which I hold dear but if this goes on I to the winter months I’m left to either contact the bank for advice or a legal advisor because technically these windows are barely 4 weeks in situ. Is there anyone who can advise me otherwise please

After struggling against the weather for 25 years with a wooden conservatory, we finally opted to replace it with a UPVC one from Securahome. It was an excellent decision and, not only is this an attractive, complementary addition to our old farmhouse but we now have the confidence and assurance that it will withstand the harsh weather conditions to which we are often subjected. Thank you Securahome.

We originally used securahome on our previous house to replace some french doors and front door, everything was great so after we moved to a new home we didn't hesitate to contact them for further work. In our new home they replaced all the windows, installed a composite front door, replaced all the guttering, fascias and soft fits. Unfortunately there have been a few issues over the last couple years and the warranty seems to be worthless.
The latch on the composite door wasn't working smoothly, they slapped some grease on and called it fixed but the issue persists. One of the windows can't be opened but most annoying of all are the issues with the guttering. The guttering is leaking water onto the drive by our front door because the clips haven't been attached properly, furthermore the drainage segment into the downpipe hasn't been done correctly, in fact they haven't used a drainage section of guttering but rather a standard section that they've drilled a tiny hole in which isn't sufficient for any reasonable amount of water to drain. I should have expected this having noticed the same issue on the downpipe at the rear of the property on an outbuilding, in that instance they have drilled multiple small holes into the guttering for the water to drain, this was insufficient but with the outbuilding being single storey it wasn't an issue drilling a larger hole myself, this section of the house has now been knocked down for an extension which had the guttering installed correctly by a different company.
I have raised the guttering issues as two service tickets over the last 7 weeks but have yet to have a response.
The jobs have obviously been rushed and not completed to the correct standard and the warranty is useless when the service tickets are being ignored.

Ordered a new Endurance composite front door from Securahome in Gorseinon, Swansea.
From first meeting with Richard, the Sales Manager to Anthony and Geraint, the installers, everything went very smoothly. Installation was delayed by 10 days, but this was due to the manufacturer, not Securahome, and I was notified as quickly as possible, and a new Installation date agreed.
Installation was very good. Both Anthony and Geraint were very friendly and professional, and are both excellent workers, getting on with the job at hand, and were very neat, cleaning up as they went along to keep any disturbance to an absolute minimum.
Overall the final job looks very good indeed, and very much improves the overall look of the property.
If I am being super critical, the sealant/caulking applied to where the internal sill meets the new uPVC frame is a little messy, where there is a thick line of sealant at one end, but not at the other, however, I only noticed this after Anthony and Geraint had left, and was therefore too late to question if there was a reason for this.
Overall however, I can't reduce the score from 5 stars just for some sealant, and we are very pleased with the quality and aesthetic quality of the installation.

We wanted a replacement tiled roof for our old glass roof conservatory and after visiting many installers decided on securahome . The salesman promised lots and after speaking with staff in the showroom it seemed a well run company . Unfortunately in reality this isn’t what we experienced.
The persons sent to Install our new roof at a cost of over £16,000 had little respect for our property resulting in damage being caused to our floor tiles and patio slabs, cigarette ends discarded everywhere and old screws in our garden and on our driveway . Securahome did sent someone to repair the damage caused and luckily we had spare items as replacements , however some respect for the customers home would have been nice.
It’s now been nearly a year since it was installed and we are still waiting for securahome to return and finish putting some things right , things we pointed out after the install a year ago.
We ring the office and no one answers , leave messages and no one calls back.
We email their support with photos of what needs to be done requesting contact but no one ever contacts you .
The companies after sales service is dreadful .
My only way forward is to consider a charge back on my debit card to cover the cost of someone else coming to fix the outstanding issues .
Makes you wonder what their 10 year guarantee is worth when you can’t get hold of anyone .
I wouldn’t use them again or recommend them. Very disappointing service .
It’s a shame as the product is what we asked for a we are happy with what’s been fitted , it’s the non existent after sales that’s the problem .

Despite less than quick response from Securahome (3 stars max) to a faulty lock on my door, and drafts around the frame, when Geraint and Anthony came to replace the lock and seal the frame, they worked quickly and efficiently. They even drilled a couple of holes for me and mounted my new house number for me. Thank you both!

From the moment Gary turned up to provide a quotation I had a feeling that this company were good.
Gary was very professional and went though (and advised the best option to go with).

The installation team were very professional and helpful Mark and John did the installation within two days (9 windows a patio door and front door).

A great company with excellent customer service.

Anthony and Geraint were excellent. They worked hard and efficiently and got the job done quickly. The plasterer and electrician were also brilliant and we are happy with the final result.

I was issued with a 10 year guarantee when I purchased my conservatory. They are very non-responsive to problems. They don't reply to service call requests. I've had an issue with a leaking roof on my conservatory since Christmas. They barely respond to messages, however they have called out on 3 occasions in 6 months, but just put on more and more sealant each time. The problem still exists every time it rains, bringing down more plaster. The original workmanship was fine but don't expect too much from their guarantee!

Just had ten windows replaced after years of hardwood, ladders and wood stain. Delivery time was quick and fitted in two days. Geraint and Anthony arrived on the dot of 8.30 and worked continuously throughout both days. They left the house, windows and drive clean. The advice from sales and the surveyor was taken onboard and now fitted all made sense. Very pleased from start to finish....Bought a conservatory, front and rear doors from Securahome over the last ten years. Never had any problems but some bad reviews online. They have now been taken over with most of the same staff but with a very positive attitude towards service and satisfaction.

Had triple glazing fitted throughout our home.
Everyone we encountered from start to finish including the owner was friendly and helpful.
Salesman Gary impressed us with his straight forward,no gimmicks presentation.Geraint and Anthony fitted everything with great skill within two days.There was a small issue with beading for one of the windows which Nigel sorted within a few days.
This team seem to communicate really well and we are left being impressed and happy.We would happily recommend this company.

I contacted Securahome regarding the problems below, and was frustrated at getting no response. I eventually managed to contact someone, and my door was fixed very promptly. It turns out that their business phone line had been cut off by BT while they were merging with another company. I have improved my rating from 1 star to 4.

I have 8 years of a 10 year guarantee for a door from Securahome. Rain water is leaking through the letterbox and leaving a puddle on my floor every time it rains. I have tried to contact Securahome, but the 01792 224090 number on their Swansea website is out of service. The 0800 number tells you to fill out an online form for service queries. I did this three weeks ago and have heard nothing from them, apart from a no-reply email.

This morning I rang the 0800 number to try and speak to someone, but which ever option I selected from the menu, I was told to leave a message.

Has this company gone out of business?
