I came to secret aesthetics for a few procedures after reading lots of amazing reviews and seeing fantastic before and after photos. The dr I saw was so professional and gave me some really good advise regarding the best way to achieve my desired results. The pain was minimal and I was so happy with the results which is why I will continue to go back!

I cannot commend Dr Naqvi enough. He is very thorough with his treatments and you will see instant results. I had tear trough done and the results were amazing. Dr thoroughly explained the procedure and made me feel at ease

A complication occurred following filler being injected in my nose tip

-DR arrived at my house & stated he could not see abnormality in the swelling however incase of an abcess he would pierce my nose tip. He proceeded to puncture the tip of my nose in my kitchen resulting in the WORST PAIN I have ever experienced. Dr Naqvi informed me after puncturing that there was in fact no drainable fluid pus.

-There was no aftercare advice & no wound swab culture taken following puncturing of my nose tip, so I have been left unclear as to whether I even had a infection in my nose tip, or whether my nose tip had become overly inflamed/swollen due to too much filler being injected.

-My nose was red, swollen and bruised for weeks. I felt physically unwell from courses of antibiotics and I also developed fungal infection/hives after the treatments. I was given a refund and referred to a dermatologist to whom I had to pay a further £200, I ended being off from work for 6 weeks as a result of the complications that occurred.

-The puncture to my nose tip has had a detrimental impact upon my personal/social/work life, it has crushed my confidence/self esteem. It is so upsetting for me to even look in the mirror as I hate the sight of it and it doesn't appear to be improving.The hylase has spread across my face and left my skin aged, saggy and depleted and with dark hollows around my eyes.

I messaged Dr naqvi a number of times expressing how upset I was, I feel I still have filler in my nose tip and feel the hylase has damaged my skin and depleted my natural hyaluronic acid. He told me that I had 'become obsessed' and that he wont treat me again, he denied that hylase has had this impact, despite me reading a number of research articles supporting this view.

yes in the past I have been happy with my treatments & thus on the day of the treatment I had even bought you some chocolates to show my appreciation. I happily signed the consent form in reception and placed my trust in you even though you did not verbally discuss any risks with me prior to treatment and proceeded to carry out treatment without a thorough consultation.

You informed me you are a GMC registered doctor, you advertise yourself as a complications specialist so I could not contemplate such a complication occurring.

On the day of the treatment I had left the clinic with no issue, I was slightly concerned as I felt the injection was administered faster than usual and that a larger amount was injected than I had hoped for, however I wasn't too concerned as you had reassured me on many occasions prior that the "treatment is 100% reversible if you are not satisfied with the result".

My nose looked much bigger but I thought maybe when the swelling has reduced it wont look so bad,I know from past treatment that some swelling and bruising can occur post treatment.

I contacted you the next day, not '48 hours later' , to express that I was not happy with the result and wanted it reversed. You initially told me I would have be put on a cancellation list for in 2 weeks time.

I later messaged you on the same day to say I was going to A&E as the swelling and discolouration looked abnormal compared to usual bruising or swelling I had with previous filler treatment.

I sent a photo of my nose tip to you& asked you for the details of the filler& amount injected (as you had not disclosed this at treatment time). You than phoned me & advised you would come to my house.

You initially told me you had no hylase, you than phoned me & told me you had managed to get hold of some. You than bought me someone elses prescription.

After puncturing my nose tip, whilst my nose was still bleeding you gave me a document and told me to sign it, in order to receive hylase. You did not even allow me to read this. In my distressed state after being told I may have necrosis and being given all these antibiotics& having had my nose punctured,I just signed the document.

You did not exclude necrosis as you have suggested in your reply, as you informed me this may be infection or necrosis & that I should take aspirin with my courses of antibiotics & massage my nose vigorously over the coming days, you even sent me videos of how to massage it to prevent necrosis.

I am shocked with your accusations, I have never sent a rude message to you? so much for being a DR &being honest/ethical/accountable. I clearly told you I had a sick note from my gp and asked you to support me by writing a letter explaining complications so I could have a phased return and try &get back to work.

You were completely dismissive of the impact of your treatment. Being told I may have necrosis and having my nose punctured resulting in a permanent red raised pore over the tip of my nose& being given 3 courses of antibiotics &hylase &having hives &a red swollen/bruised nose for weeks affected my health a lot.

Never been disappointed so far and have also gone back for treatments, very friendly and professional no problem at all.

I first got fillers done on my chin around 3 years ago. As nervous as I was then, Dr Naqvi put me and my nerves at complete ease. With his experience and knowledge, I knew I was in good hands. Going to him was the best decision I made and that’s coming from someone who is very picky. He explained everything in detail, which made me trust him all the more. There are many people out there who will say yes to any job and will tell you what you think you want to hear. Today, I got botox done for the first time. I thought I needed lip fillers, but in truth to solve my issue fillers alone would not have been the way forward. Dr Naqvi identified my issue without me having to explain it in full terms. He listened to what I thought I needed but advised me on what other suitable and better options there were. With that being said, I am glad I found secret aesthetics.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my treatments. I have 100% trust and faith in Dr. Naqvi. Always happy with the procedures.Would highly recommend.

Dr Naqvi has always been very thorough and careful. He is very respectful, listens to me, puts me at ease and never oversells. After treatments he has stayed in touch to make sure everything is okay and if there are ever any issues he will swiftly address them. I respect how Dr Naqvi will say no if something shouldn't be done or if he feels I may be going over the top! Thank you!

I’ve been having various cosmetic treatments for nine years and never found the right cosmetic doctor - for various reasons: eyebrow/lid droop after botox (with a plastic surgeon & 2 doctors) a disaster with lip filler 5 years ago by a clinic which is no longer in business. So I decided to research somewhere in Birmingham with lots of before and after pictures, so I was delighted to find Dr Naqvi’s website with lots of photos and excellent reviews! My first appointment was for a consultation whereby Dr Naqvi was very honest, extremely professional with a lovely calm and caring manner. I spoke about my past experience with lip filler (it was above my top lip and looked puffy and odd) it had been that way for five years as no-one wanted to dissolve it, they all told me to go back to the original clinic where I’d had it administered. I couldn’t as the clinic had gone. Dr Naqvi said he could dissolve it - and he did! Completely! No more puffy lips, just back to normal again. The relief :) I’ve also had botox with him with great results (my hairdresser thought I’d had a face lift!). So I’m going back again for filler and may even have Dr Naqvi do my lips! even after such a horrid previous experience..,,he’s the only one I would trust. The photos speak for themselves 😊
