Staff are extremely rude

Staff are extremely rude. Paid for Platinum class and you get virtually nothing for it except a seat facing directly at another passenger. Two stewards were absolutely rude and unhelpful. Purchased drink and used my own reusable straw. Want to take a photo and came back and my only half drunk drink and straw cleaned away. When I went to ask for it I was ignored for over 10 mins told they did not have it and walked away (had been on boat for 4 hrs so they were well aware I was still a passenger). NEVER use SeaJets again. Did a trip with Golden Star Ferries and they were amazing and so helpful.

Chaotisch, unorganisiert und unzuverlässig

Ich buchte die Fähre nach Paros, um nach einem langen Reisetag zu einer vernünftigen Zeit anzukommen. Die Fähre sollte um 16:00 ablegen und mich um 20:00 auf Paros ausspucken. Schon zu Beginn waren 45 Minuten Verspätung angesagt, inzwischen ist es 20:30, und wir haben gerade erst syros verlassen, das bereits vor 2,5 Std fällig gewesen wäre. Die bluestar ist sicher vor dem seajet dort. Und dass man permanent in der stickigen Kabine eingesperrt sitzen muss, ist der größte Mist. Außerdem sind die Plätze zwar reserviert, aber daran hält sich kein Mensch, das Personal sagt nur, jeder soll sitzen, wo er möchte. Für mich definitiv nie wieder. Ich liebe es, mit der Fähre zu reisen und so werde ich künftig nur noch die gute alte bluestar buchen

Nicht zu empfehlen

Nicht zu empfehlen. Hatten mehr bezahlt und die Club Seats von Kavala nach Limnos und zurück gebucht. Beim Betreten der Club Seats wurde geprüft, ob man diese auch gebucht hat. Nach Verlassen des Hafens verschwand der Mitarbeiter und es herrschte Chaos dort wir auf einem Basar in Athen. Leute ohne gültiges Ticket nahmen dort Platz, unterhielten sich laut, Kinder rannten herum usw. Obwohl ich auf beiden Fahrten den Herrn an der Rezeption des Schiffes bat und auch aufforderte hier etwas zu unternehmen, passierte nichts. Vielmehr sah man die Mitarbeiter auf offenem Deck rauchen und am Handy rumspielen. Wir fühlten uns abgezockt, da wir mehr für diese Sitze gezahlt hatten. Seajets ist sicherlich stolz auf solche Mitarbeiter. Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen das Flugzeug zu nehmen und diese Fähre zu meiden.

Furchtbare Fähre!

Einfach nur schrecklich!
Altes Boot, Express jet.
Überteuerte Tickets für die 1.Klasse, die genauso ist wie die 2.Klasse.
Ist ein schlechter Witz.
Nie wieder !!!

ALDRIG mere Seajets !!
To timer forsinket da vi kom til Piræus ( fra Ios )og ingen information undervejs.
Totalt kaos ved ankomst : folk væltede rundt for at finde deres bagage og der var store problemer med at komme af færgen pga af en alt for lille og smal lejder - og kun en !
Heldigvis opførte alle rejsende sig eksemplarisk, så folk ikke gik i panik.
Vi har rejst rigtig meget i det græske øhav og altid med BLUE STAR og det er hvad vi fortsat vil gøre !

Nous avons été place à côté du…

Nous avons été place à côté du restaurant donc près de 3h de transport avec des gens qui attendaient pour prendre un café ou autre à 50cm de nous.
Donc tu peux pas dormir car on te regarde comme un animal et, on te shoot dans les jambes et j’en passe.
Fauteuil tout devant tu n’as pas de tablette pour poser le téléphone ou l’ordinateur ou la boisson …
Et quand on en a parlé au personnel celui ci a été très désagréable et nous a trouvé aucune solution sachant qu’il h avait des place en haut ( mais vous comprenez on préfère vous laisser dans votre galère que de vous surclasser …)
Très mauvaise expérience, je partirai plus avec cette compagnie et je ne la recommande pas.
J’ai fais un mail de réclamation j’ai aucune réponse, c’est honteux !
Pour encaisser pas de soucis mais pour le sav, il n’y a plus personne !

I am glad I didn’t read these reviews before we arrived in Greece!! We took 3 ferries during our time here and had absolutely no issues, they kept us updated with change of schedules and yes they were sometimes a little late but they are workhorses of the Aegean and subject to various things that may delay you. I downloaded the vessel finder app which helped me to track the boat. We had 1 rough journey but it was only short, if you suffer with sickness take a tablet, I did for each journey. I’m not sure how other ferries compare but I can’t believe they are any less affected by the weather and wind!! Ferries are a lot cheaper than flying which is the only other option I could sea other than different ferry companies. Manage your expectations, you are in Greece!! Make the experience part of your holiday. I will definitely use them again

Pire compagnie de Grèce, check in absurde

Système absurde et complètement crétin de check in obligatoire pour avoir un ticket (les gars, vous gérez juste des ferries pas des avions). Bien sûr le check-in en ligne ferme au moins 2 heures avant, après on peut faire le check-in à l’agence du port. Ça tombe bien, mon bateau partait à 10h et l’agence à Paros ouvre…à 10h, donc bien sûr je n’ai pas pu le prendre. Bref à fuir.

A éviter absolument

Cette compagnie modifie à sa guise les horaires de ferries. Lorsqu'on leur écrit à de multiples reprises avant le voyage pour indiquer que le nouvel horaire ne convient pas et que l'on souhaite changer les billets, elle ne daigne même pas répondre autre chose que le message automatique indiquant...qu'elle va répondre sous 2 jours ouvrés. Lamentable. Nous attendons toujours que notre demande de remboursement soit prise en compte.

Nous avons prix 2 excursions pour l’Ile…

Nous avons prix 2 excursions pour l’Ile de Santorin au départ de notre hôtel.
1er désagrément, nous avons été mis dans un mauvais bus qui parlait pas français mais roumain
2 eme désagrément, on nous fait changer de bus pour avoir des explications en Français mais vers 16H on nous appelle en urgence pour que nous prenions un taxi pour le port car notre bateau partait à 16H30 et que le bateau qui était pour notre nouveau bus n’allait pas à Heraklion mais à Rethymnon !!!! Malgré nos efforts et un coût exorbitant d’un VTC (100€ pour 5 Kms, avec des menaces d’arrêter la course en route) nous avons loupé notre bateau
3 eme désagrément, nous avons dû prendre un bateau pour Rethymnon et ensuite un taxi affrété par Seajets pour nous conduire à notre Hôtel soit à 1H45 de route.
Résultat : une journée complètement loupée pour un coût de 330€ !!!!
Peu de chance d’avoir un geste commercial de leur part
Seul point positif : les 100 € du 1 er VTC nous ont été remboursés en arrivant au port et le taxi pour l’hôtel était missionné par la compagnie.
Très mauvaise expérience, si on avait eu connaissance que c’était cette société qui assurait la prestation, on aurait peut être réfléchi à 2fois en lisant tous les avis sur eux !!

A trip that was supposed to last…

A trip that was supposed to last 3-4hours lasted 16 hours. Seajet never informed the ticket provider or us for the departure change from Chania to Rethymno harbour. I was charged 110 euros for the taxi because no one told us to be at the harbour at 6:30 instead of 7:00. We lost an entire day of holiday and 35 euros from the car reservation. Of course they don't provide refunds and they have no consequences for delays. Seajet operates like a cartel.

STAY AWAY!!!

Disclosure: I have been taking ferries throughout Greece for almost 50 years. Here are my thoughts:

1. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE SeaJets cancelled our sailing two days before departure and suggested that we book to another island from which we could take a different ferry service to our destination. We had to pay more but were promised a "full refund." Well, I've been battling for a refund for two months without any luck. Basically, they suckered me into paying for a more expensive ticket to an island I did not plan on visiting, and now accuse me of initiating the change myself!

2. DELAYS AND CANCELLATIONS The supposed (arguably the only) advantage of SeaJets over conventional ferries is speed. However, their boats are very susceptible to the weather. As the Aegean is often rough from mid-June into September, their services are often late or cancelled. You might as well take a regular ferry, known for their on-time departures, and get to your destination without a hassle and for much less money. Even flying is often just a little bit pricier.

3. UNCOMFORTABLE If the boat is moving at all, the crew insist that you remain seated. Forget about enjoying a snack at the bar, and there is little if any outdoor deck space. Sea sickness bags get lots of use on SeaJets. If you like the feeling of sitting at the back of the plane during strong turbulence, SeaJets is for you!

Almost 1 hour delay, Chargeable WiFi, No sunshade on the windows

On Monday 19.08.2024 we travelled from Thessaloniki to Skopelos and yesterday 21.08.2024 we returned from Skopelos to Thessaloniki. It gave us a terribly negative impression that despite the exorbitant cost of your tickets, you charge extra for the use of WiFi during the trip. Really unacceptable!

In addition, it would be good to know that in 1 trip with a duration of 3.5 - 4 hours, if nothing else, the sunshade on the windows of your ships is at least considered necessary. The passenger who is forced to sit in the seat next to the window is literally roasted throughout the journey. Perhaps this is also the reason why you do not give your passengers the possibility to choose the seat position for their journey during check-in.
Finally, the cooling in the passenger compartment is almost non-existent.

Traité effectivement comme du bétail ; nos différents bateaux ont systématiquement eu du retard, prévenu 1h avant le départ. Sans aucune explication ni excuse

Vendita forzata di biglietti in prima classe sostenendo che era l'unica possibilita', l'economy era occupata per meno del 50%

Al porto di Mykonos il 12 agosto ci prentiamo per acquistare un biglietto per Milo. L'operatore ci guarda preoccupato sostenendo che sono esauriti i biglietti, poi a fronte della nostra preoccupazione ci rassicura affermando di aver trovato 2 posti in upper class al costo di oltre 30 euro in piu' rispetto alla economy. Non avendo scelta accettiamo.
Sul traghetto la primaq classe era piena ma la economy occupata al 50 % ... Che truffa!
mi rivolgo al capitano della nave che mi schernisce sullo sfruttamento dei turisti a Mykonos e Milo localita' di destinazione...
Scrivo al customer care di sea jet ma nessuna risposta!
TRUFFA LEGALIZZATA !!!!

Delays and more delays..

There is no way that this company wont have any delays. I have lost my flights two times because of them. If you happen to travel with them, have a gap of at least three hours.

They changed our departure hour and…

They changed our departure hour and ship. We were about to depart from Crete on 24/8. Today we received an sms informing us that our 5,5 hours trip with seajets will change and that we will travel with another ship for 8 hours (ship from another company-anek ferries) and depart 2 hours later. When we were going to crete they changed departure hour and ship 2 times.

Ottimo servizio clienti

Ottimo servizio clienti. Cordiali e disponibili. Mi hanno concesso l'acquisto di biglietti agevolati per la presenza di disabili nel gruppo concedendo lo sconto anche per gli accompagnatori. Hanno sempre risposto puntualmente alle email fornendo una soluzione. Per il servizio di assistenza clienti meritano 5 stelle.

Great experience

We’ve just finished our 3rd and final Seajet trip this summer - hopping around the Cyclades. We also used another company for one ferry trip which was great too. We loved the experience. The team want to get you onboard quickly to keep on schedule and so you do move off (and it’s rocky on departure) whilst still on the car/luggage deck but it kept us on time and all staff were friendly and efficient. We enjoyed both economy and platinum (for a longer trip). It’s a great way to get around. The people questioning the safety of leaving their bags on the lower deck is odd - it’s no different than flying - anyone can pick up your bag if they are a thief! We’ve had no issues and don’t expect any. People aren’t boarding these ferries to pinch your cases!! It’s organised and a fun way to get around. Making amendments on line is simple. I can’t comment on the customer service team as we didn’t encounter difficulties that needed us to contact them. Logistically speaking A this is a vast and difficult operation and it seemed clear to us that the crews worked hard to achieve a difficult task. Arriving and departing in 10 minutes with vast numbers of cars and people to unload and reload is not easy!
