Site did not load correctly and order pages did…
Site did not load and order pages did not work on iPhone - photos and videos appear to be all generation 1 grills and there is no user manual available on line.
I had to order using a Mac and the promo codes and special offers were ambiguous - actually I’m hoping the grill works better thank your website !!!

Discount codes beyond frustrating
Discount codes that can't be applied to bundles; discount codes that can't be applied to accessories. Received a popup on the website offering a discount code only to have it tell me it was invalid when I tried applying it. Having to go back and forth trying to figure out the best deal is a pain. I almost went with a different manufacturer just out of frustration. If I would have been able to find Beefer XL available in the US, that's probably what I would have ordered instead.

I understand your concern about the $82 charge. Let me explain - at checkout we offer shipping insurance through our partner, Onward. This is automatically added for your convenience, but you do have the option to remove it before finalizing your order if you prefer.
The shipping insurance gives you perks like 2% cash back to be used on a future purchase as well as protection for shipping damages. If the damage occurs we file the claim for you and replace your item free of charge & immediately while the claim is still processing.
If you’d rather not include this service, you can opt out at checkout, but many customers find the extra protection and perks worthwhile.
Great grill.
Don’t get me wrong. I love this grill. I used it at least four days a week but now it won’t stay lit. I’ve contacted support by email. It’s been six days. No one’s contacted me. I sat for hours on their chat and then finally somebody answered me after I left a message on their phone, which nobody answered.
UPDATE: Support did reach out and everything is being taken care of. They have been patient with me sending it back since I don't want to be without it. Since contact they have not hesitated to reach out to me so I want to update this review.

Not the flavor you would expect
The product arrived as promised and the quality of the product is as expected. Definitely a well made machine. I have now cooked about 10 different steaks on it and a few hamburger patties. The heat is tremendous and it creates a nice crust for sure. I have used the highest quality dry aged beef from Snake River Farms only. I consider myself an expert with Grilling and have extensive experience with open wood fire cooking as well as offset smokers. This grill does what they say in terms of cooking time etc...However even with using the butter bath with various herbs, the flavor profile of the steak cannot come close to a wood fire or charcoal grill. Frankly the flavor from my DCS propane grill is superior by a long shot. As I have played with this more, it makes sense why. Most of the great flavor we come to expect from grilling is in good part from the smoke generated from fat falling on the grill surface underneath. The set up of this grill simply can never create that type of flavor. I was expecting a flavor profile more akin to New York steak houses like Wolfgang who do use these types of sear grills, but upon further research it's a component of the cook not fully cooked this way. Buyers of this product should know what to expect.

Schwank Grill #3 Years and still going strong
Cathy @ Schwank Customer Service was very helpful I'm going on #2 years with my Schwank Grill. So far no issues .. Clean Up can be a bit much but it's the same with your everyday commercial grills.
Plenty of You Tube videos to help with assembly or cooking ideas. I'm happy with my Schwank Grill & from what I'm told with proper care it will last.
Cooking at 1500 Degrees is a change from previous grills I owned that get up to 600 Degree's and you can also use cast iron pans.
If your budget allows then give Schwank Grill a try you won't be disappoited

Took advantage of the Father’s Day Bundle discount but had forgotten to enter the discount code! No worries as I placed a call to Swank and Cathy responded quickly and put together another shipment with all the accessories at NO CHARGE! We just set up the grill and stand and will be using it tonight to grill some swordfish! Can’t wait to do steaks or chops with no flareups like I get on our conventional grill! Zero quality control
Defective right out of the box. Broken lift mechanism. Their go to excuse is "it must have happened during shipment" even though I have repeatedly told them that there is no damage whatsoever on the exterior of the unit or on the box itself. It was shipped defective from their factory, without the most basic of quality checks.
And the cart... well that's an entirely piece of junk.
Just all together a bad experience.

Long time user of Schwank Grill...love…
Long time user of Schwank Grill...love it and use it weekly. Recently bought a $500+ table to my grill. This table is biggest piece of junk. The big table came in a tiny box with more parts than a Swiss wristwatch. The instructions are confusing and unclear. Parts are not labeled, parts do not line up, and parts bent. They couldn't use regular phillips or flathead screwdriver for the part but some special screw-head that is very difficult to use. Save you money and get regular car already assembled at the hardware store. Total FAIL.

Defective out of the box
I ordered this grill and paid in full, then waited 30 days for delivery. When it finally arrived, the grill table sat crooked, and the lifting mechanism was noticeably lower on the left side than the right. As a result, the tray insert doesn't sit level, causing grease to pour out the front of the grill and into areas that are not accessible for cleaning.
I contacted customer service and sent several emails with photos, videos, and a full description of the issue. I then repacked the 74-pound grill and sent it back for inspection. The company stated their technicians need to determine whether the issue is due to user error or a manufacturing defect. If it's deemed a defect, they will repair or replace it. If not, I will be responsible for freight charges both ways.
I chose this grill because it's American-made and I’m willing to pay more for quality and service. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been my experience so far. Based on how long this process is taking, I estimate it will be 45–60 days from payment to receiving a functional grill.
I hope the company follows through with a solid resolution. I will update this review if and when the situation is resolved.

The discount is 👎
I’ll limit my comments to the ordering process since I haven’t received the product yet. They provide a Veteran/Military discount, which is a nice gesture. However, it cannot be applied to any of their bundles. It seems pointless to offer a discount if it can’t be utilized!

Replacing the regulator is our last resort. This grill has never worked consistently and I gave up even trying a year ago. I watched YouTube videos and chat lines trying to figure out why it will not lite or stay lit. We even bought the pizza kit and have yet to use it. It was a gift and I don't have the heart to tell them it hasn't worked.l
