The planning stage of our trip was amazing. Debbie was very knowledgeable of the Scandinavian countries and listened and understood what we liked. An initial 2-weeks tour ended up being 3 weeks because we wanted to spend more time at the places and also included the Northern Lights in our tour.

Nothing was too difficult. Debbie did a fantastic job with the design and planning of our itinerary. The final travel itinerary is stunning and includes things we would not have thought of - sailing the Stockholm Archipelago, Electric Car rental in Flam and the Arctic Circle.

My wife and I are so looking forward to this trip. We'll give a review of the tour itself when we've completed the trip.

The tours gruides were generally great and were able to take us to see things in Iceland and Norway that were off the beaten path.

The only negative was the accomodations. Some hotels were great, others needed some improvement. Make sure you make it clear what kind of accouodations you are expecting, expecially if you need a walk in shower, king beds and no steps.

Silvena was more than helpful from our first phone call in March until the day before our trip in July. She allowed me to customize every aspect of our trip, including so many changes I made along the way. She was more than accommodating. The trip was an unbelievable success. East Greenland was other worldly and more than I ever could’ve imagined. There’s absolutely no way I could’ve planned the trip without the help of Silvena from Greenland, private tours.

All of our interests were taken into consideration as the itinerary was created. This, along with all the logistical concerns of moving from place to place, made our trip an experience to remember.

After picking all the fiords and places on AI, it listed 4 local travel agencies to put the trip together. I contacted Scandinavia Tours. They were fantastic. Sylvia was very responsive, put together an incredible trip within our budget that included a cruise, scenic train trips, stays in 4 star+ hotels, and many excursions in each stop. All tickets and coupons were emailed. Detailed instructions and options for getting to and from airports and train stations were hassle free. Hotels were conveniently located. Our trip had no unpleasant surprises and many very pleasant surprises.

Excellent personal service regarding every part of our trip from the initial proposal to the final itinerary with calls to discuss details. Given the physical limitations of one of our party I was concerned about booking trips myself but Sophie had everything under control and even arranged a wheelchair for us at very short notice to allow us to make the most of our trip.
