I had a very concerning experience with…
I had a very concerning experience with a website called ScamMinder, operated by Mohammad Jorjandi.
Our website was given a score of 10/100, and after that we were contacted and asked to pay £60 so that our website could be “re-analyzed” and the score reconsidered. It was implied that without payment, the negative labeling would remain.
This raises serious ethical concerns. Asking for money in exchange for re-evaluating or improving a negative assessment does not feel transparent or trustworthy, especially for a platform that claims to protect people from scams.
In my opinion, trust and credibility should never be tied to payment. Users and businesses should be very cautious and do their own research before relying on such ratings.

Hi Aref, thank you for raising this. We take it seriously. Our policy is clear and public: no paid service changes a ScamMinder score or verdict, and disputing a result is always free (scamminder.com/dispute). If you received a message asking for payment to re-analyze or change your score, please forward it to us via scamminder.com/contact so we can investigate. We'd also be glad to re-run a full analysis of your site free of charge. Just let us know the domain.

Better than scamadviser
In comparison, scamminder beats its rivals like scamadviser because it is more accurate. I use scamminder a lot in order to identify scam sites. It is a very useful tool for preventing from ripping off! And I know its creator Mohammad Jorjandi who is an elite cyber crime expert.

Scamminder.com Exposed: Why Pay-to-Play Scam Checkers Can’t Be Trusted
Scamminder.com is not a trustworthy platform. They automatically assign a low ‘trust score’ to businesses with little context, and then offer a paid ‘verification’ service (around $60) to raise that score. That feels less like consumer protection and more like a pay-to-play scheme.
As a legitimate, U.S.-based company, we were flagged as ‘risky’ despite being fully authentic, and serving real customers every day. This kind of practice damages reputations unfairly and pressures businesses to pay just to correct misinformation.
If you’re a shopper: don’t rely on sites like Scamminder for determining legitimacy. Check official business listings, customer reviews on trusted platforms, and the company’s own policies instead.
If you’re a business: be aware that this site may coerce you into paying to improve your rating. That’s not how true trust or verification should work.

Hi Ricardas, we understand why that would feel unfair, so we want to be precise. Paid options like Owner Verification only confirm domain ownership and identity. They never raise a score, remove a rating, or change a verdict, as stated on our methodology page. Corrections are free: you can dispute any result or request a fresh analysis that re-runs every check. If your site was flagged incorrectly, please share the domain through scamminder.com/contact and a human reviewer will look at it.

They hurt your reputation by giving low score for no reason.
They rate out website traderscombat.com low rate without any reason.
This is based on their evaluation that our website is new but it is not as it established on 2023.
Do not trust this website as the score evaluation is not based on fair items.

Hi Reza, thanks for your feedback. Platforms that handle trading, investment, or crypto funds are a high-risk category, both for users and in our scoring. Legitimate operators in this space are normally licensed by a recognized financial regulator in the jurisdictions they serve, and they display that license clearly. We couldn't find verifiable regulatory information for traderscombat.com. That weighs heavily in our assessment, regardless of domain age. If the platform is regulated, please send us the regulator's name and license number through scamminder.com/dispute or scamminder.com/contact. A human reviewer will verify it and re-run the analysis free of charge.

A new domain name doesn't necessarily mean a website is a scam. Many legitimate businesses and individuals launch new websites every day.

We completely agree: a new domain doesn't mean a site is a scam. That's why domain age is just one signal in our scoring, never a verdict on its own. A low score means we couldn't verify enough yet, not an accusation. If your site was affected, you can dispute the result for free at scamminder.com/dispute and a human will review it.

AI is Incredibly Stupid, But Presented as Being Authoritative
The ratings given websites are the exact opposite of those from reputable sources, like this one.
Their AI uses arbitrary evaluation criteria that have absolutely no relation to the service this website purports to provide.
Their AI is so stupid, it makes inaccurate assumptions and presents them as fact.
Their AI is so stupid, it makes inaccurate generalizations about websites and presents them as fact.
Their AI is so stupid, it draws inaccurate conclusions about the content of websites and presents them as fact!
Their AI is so stupid, it can't accurately read websites, then penalizes them for things that are obviously not true, if you visit the site and look for yourself.
Their AI is so stupid, it doesn't recognize websites that are being operated in violation of federal law!
Their AI is so stupid, it contradicts itself in the same review!
Their AI is so stupid, it penalizes legitimate websites for including required legal disclaimers, but ignores the lack of disclaimers on illegal websites!
Their reviews are outdated.
They remove positive reviews.
They ignore correspondence.
They ignore complaints about websites that are literally run by criminals, even when presented with empirical evidence from authoritative government and mainstream media sources!
At the time of this review, ScamMinder is displaying ads for a device that itself is a scam!
How very unfortunate that the gullible would actually believe the "TrustScores" delivered by this unbelievably horrible website.

We're sorry the analyses you saw fell short. Some of the issues you describe reflect older reports, and our scoring has since been rebuilt with deterministic guardrails, threat-intelligence checks, and human review of disputes. We don't remove reviews for being positive or negative. If you can share the specific pages, the sites you believe are operating illegally, or the ad you saw, please send them via scamminder.com/contact. We'd genuinely like to review them, and we'll reply.
