It felt that they were there supporting me in a wholesome way, not just as part of a work environment.

**My Experience With Scale Smart’s “No Result” Guarantee**

I joined the Scale Smart program and paid $5,797 largely because of the advertised 12-month “no result” refund guarantee. The promise was that if you followed the program and didn’t make at least $1,000 in profit within a year, you could receive a refund (plus an additional $1,000 bonus according to the guarantee).

Over the following 12 months I worked through the training, attended support calls, and consistently applied the strategies that were taught. I spent roughly two hours a day working on the process and reached out for help whenever I needed clarification.

Unfortunately, despite putting in the time and effort, I didn’t reach the $1,000 profit threshold.

At the end of the 12 months I requested the refund under the guarantee. The request was declined. The reason given was that I had not completed an “email validation” step before sending outreach emails.

From my perspective, this requirement was not clearly stated in the written refund guarantee as a condition that would invalidate eligibility. The guarantee refers to implementing the program diligently and allows the company to exercise discretion when assessing compliance, but it does not clearly explain that missing a specific technical step could void the entire guarantee.

Instead of the refund outlined in the guarantee, I was offered a partial refund of $2,000.

I’m currently pursuing the matter through the appropriate consumer channels in Australia.

For anyone considering programs that advertise performance guarantees, I would strongly recommend carefully reviewing the exact written terms and confirming in advance what specific requirements must be met to qualify.

This review reflects my personal experience.

I strongly regret enrolling in the Scale Smart / A.I Evolution program and feel obligated to warn others before they lose thousands of dollars.

I paid $5,794 after being told during a sales call that I had to pay that same day due to a so-called cohort transition deadline. That urgency was decisive in my payment. After joining, it became obvious that new participants were still being enrolled well after this alleged deadline, indicating that the urgency was manufactured to rush payment and prevent proper consideration or comparison.

The program is heavily marketed as delivering a high-value, in-demand digital skillset capable of producing scalable income and financial freedom. In reality, the work consists almost entirely of:
Scraping or buying email lists using common tools,
Manually copying data into spreadsheets or basic CRMs, and
Sending large volumes of cold emails using generic templates, with repeated advice to simply send more.

This is basic cold-email lead generation, widely documented online and easily learned for free. There was nothing rare, advanced, or meaningfully “AI-driven” about the skills taught, despite how the program is presented in marketing materials.
The promised 10-week mentorship was also disappointing. Calls were difficult to book, feedback was superficial, and there was no personalised strategy or coaching that justified the premium price. Comments such as “your site looks professional” replaced any meaningful analysis or guidance.

The refund guarantee, which is prominently used to reassure buyers, was only fully explained after payment. It relies on onerous evidence requirements and is assessed entirely at the company’s discretion, making it extremely difficult to rely on in practice. In effect, the financial risk sits almost entirely with the customer.
After enrolling, I discovered numerous one-star reviews describing the same pattern:
artificial urgency and pressure to pay immediately,
exaggerated income potential, vague or misleading explanations of what the work actually involves and large upfront payments encouraged without time to seek advice.

Looking back, the program appears designed to sell aspiration and urgency, while delivering a low-value, labour-intensive process that benefits primarily the seller, not the student.
I am currently pursuing formal consumer remedies. I am sharing this experience so others can avoid making an expensive mistake under pressure.

Smart Scale completely overpromises and underdelivers.
They lure you in with claims of amazing support and fast results — then disappear once you’ve paid.

Support calls are booked out 2–3 weeks, they lie about the access time frame and access to the community, and then try to upsell more support for a monthly fee, once your times up.

It feels like a total money grab.
Plenty of others have had the same experience — do your research before signing anything, plenty of negative reviews for you to find

I first posted a review about a family member’s experience with Scale Smart. In response, the company offered a full refund — but only if the review was removed and a non-disparagement agreement (NDA) was signed. That NDA forbade them from ever reviewing the company or asking anyone else to do so.
I did not sign anything. I have no contract with Scale Smart and am legally free to share what I witnessed firsthand — and what I’ve since learned from other students.
This is not just a bad course. It’s a predatory funnel targeting vulnerable people — sick, injured, elderly, financially struggling — and convincing them they’re “exactly the kind of motivated person” Scale Smart is looking for. Then they charge wildly inconsistent prices:$2,500, $4,000, $7,800, $15,000 — whatever they think they can squeeze from you.
If you say you can’t afford it, they’ll say:
“I used to offer this for free, but people weren’t committed. You need skin in the game.”
Then they hook you up with a lending broker, find out what you can borrow, and charge you that exact amount.

What you get depends entirely on what you pay. Some students get daily 1-on-1 access to Lucas. Others get nothing but recycled advice you could find for free on YouTube. The glowing reviews? They’re mostly from that elite group — not the standard students who are left to flounder.
The refund policy is a trap. You can’t see it until after you pay. It says you must:
- Show 12 months of effort
- Request a refund before 12 months
- Provide exhaustive proof — emails, calls, logs — and then they decide at their discretion whether you qualifyThere’s no clear eligibility criteria. No benchmarks. Just vague expectations and a moving goalpost. And once you’ve done the work, they now own your CRM — thousands of leads you generated — and still refuse the refund.
One student I spoke to followed every instruction, networked with others, and made zero income. They were shocked to learn how many others had the same experience — and how many were silenced by NDAs.
Even the sales tactics are shady. The original rep told my partner he cold-calls people who’ve fallen into their lead funnel. He earns no commission unless the student hits $10K/month — which almost no one does.
Support staff like Abbie are kind, but they’re not the problem. The issue lies with the founders — Lachie, Lucas, and Sara — who continue to harvest money from desperate people while dodging accountability.
Important: Even if you’ve signed an NDA, you are legally allowed and protected to report your experience to the ACCC (Australian Competition & Consumer Commission). NDAs cannot override your right to report misconduct or deceptive conduct to regulatory bodies.If you’re considering Scale Smart, ask yourself:
- Why do prices vary so wildly?
- Why are refunds so hard to get?
- Why are students being silenced with NDAs?
- Why is there no clear path to success?
This isn’t just poor business. It’s calculated exploitation.

My previous review got challenge by these scammers and removed. I was too busy to contend with it at the time. But they are dodge AF. Don't sign up with them, they will ask you for cash. That's what they asked me for.

Since joining the Scale Smart AI Evolution program, I've had a very positive experience. The course material is comprehensive and straightforward to follow. I finished it in a week and was ready to start working on outreach emails on behalf of Veritas Digital to gain digital marketing clients. I've learnt a lot about email marketing in the course. They provide all the tools and resources you need to get started in their referral fee or DIY pathways. The co-founder, Lucas, is very knowledgeable in digital marketing and running a marketing agency.

I've found their email support and one-on-one coaching sessions very helpful and valuable. Abbie and Vincenza from the support team have been fantastic. Thanks for all of your help so far; it has been greatly appreciated.

Joining Scalesmart Official has been one of the best decisions. The onboarding process with Abbie was fantastic – she made everything feel clear, welcoming, and easy to get started with. From the very beginning I felt supported and confident in the journey ahead.

I can’t recommend Scalesmart enough to anyone wanting to learn digital marketing with the right mix of education, support, and accountability.

Their YouTube ad is about a work opportunity. When they followed up on my expression of interest, they were wanting me to make a financial investment in their company. The guy who phoned me attempted to use what I would classify as sleazy, manipulative sales techniques on me. Imo these people are deceptive lowlifes.

I have enjoyed every bit of the weekly, one-one-one coaching sessions with the mentors. There's two mentorship calls that students can avail of: 1) Accountability Call, 2) Support Call.
The Accountability call is for mentorship , and the Support call is for anything technical (email set-up, domain set-up, etc). I have had the Accountability Calls every week (30-min session over Zoom), and have had 2 Support calls. I have been on the program for 4 weeks only. I appreciate that after a call, the mentor would send over some notes promptly, including reminders and action items.
Abbie (my accountability mentor) has been very supportive, and truly understands my journey. She gives some points to improve, which is very important to me. At the same time, she recognizes the work that I have put in. My Support mentors Logan and Francesca have been very supportive as well, and are able to answer my queries. You can tell that they have gone through the whole experience and know how to help.
The support system in the Skool platform has been amazing also. The mentors are there a lot and engage frequently with the students.

For anyone wanting to get into the digital marketing world and make money online this course is a no brainer!

The team at Scale Smart have been insane. Especially Lucas. The amount of support and expertise that is given is insane. Anyone saying "This is a scam" I just cant relate at all. I have had nothing but a positive experience with Scale Smart and it is worth every penny. I would not have been any where near where I am today without Scalesmart and the team. If you follow what they say you will succeed. There is so much insightful information and support. Yes there is hard work involved, but with the help of Scale Smart and their content it is 100% achievable.

I had never even thought about creating a website and I managed to get something set up. Hanna refined the website so it looked professional and helped to get it up and active. She was very pleasant to deal with and had a wealth of knowledge in the website world.
