Great to deal with on the day of buying the car. Unfortunately let down by the experience on collection. I was waiting around and when they then finally come over to tell me that there was a problem with my part ex which ment they had over valued it. Which they asked me to pay half even though they had inspected the car before valuation was done. After this was resolved i was then told they dont have the v5 so i needed to fill a v62 and the the tax would need to be done direct debit but i could drive the car away and they would send the paperwork off. After 4 days i was checking the tax and it was showing as untaxed so i contacted the DVLA and they informed me that it was not taxed and that if it was done it would show on there system. I contacted saxton and they told me it had been done but could not show me a receipt for proof. I then got a new v62 filled it out and went to the post office myself and sorted the tax checked online later that day and the vehicle was taxed seems like they didnt do it there end. When i got my log book through i then contacted mercedes to check the service history as i was told it had full service history and they came back with one service being done. I was also told that they would do a service but again i have not been given anything to say it has been done but the light has been reset on the car. In conclusion my experience before was great but upon collection and after care was terrible.

The website was excellent and was easy to locate my perfect car. I was able to reserve this for 48 hours whilst arranging to come and see the car and experience it on the road. Location was good with lovely showroom. My focus was buying my new car and driving it away. Tom was lovely and couldn’t have helped us enough. We were able to collect the car that week. So pleased with our new car.

Whilst Saxtons are a very professional organisation and offer exceptionally good vehicles the sale process takes far too long. You are just sitting around for ages. It took over 3 hours when collecting the vehicle and handing over my existing car in part exchange even when we had a booked appointment. There were other people there getting bored also and some simply got up and left.

I had a great experience with Saxtons. The team were helpful throughout, from sales and valet services to the paint shop. The vehicle was prepared on time, any issues were dealt with promptly and professionally, and they were happy to accommodate some bespoke requests. I'm very pleased with the vehicle, would definitely recommend Saxtons, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.
