Beautiful designs, flattering cuts!
I have bought two swimsuits and two bikinis from Salty Bottom and I have to say, they are the most flattering I’ve ever tried! Really good quality material and absolutely stunning designs too. The customer service is equally as incredible as the swimwear, and I was contacted personally by the founder of the company when I had an enquiry. They really value their customers and take time to make sure everyone is happy with what they’ve ordered. Superb UK-based company who deserve every success!

Decided to treat myself to a nice swimming costume and decided in ordering a few items from here. I didn't know how they'd fit so purchased a large order to try on. There was no flag at the time of the strict 14 day return policy or being charged a 6% fee for returning orders over a certain amount. I've never heard such a thing. Only now have they added a tick box to their shopping basket. I am no stuck with a £150 gift card and unsure whether I can even pay my bills this month. Customer service has been disgraceful and has caused me mental health issues. They also posted an instagram story regarding their returns policy which makes me think I'm not the only one disparing with this company.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I’d like to provide some context regarding your return.
Your order was delivered on 29th March. We received an unauthorised return in early May, with a shipment date of 25th April, this is over three weeks outside of our 14-day return window.
We also did not receive any prior communication from you about your return, which is required to be processed through our returns portal. It appears you used the returns address from the packaging rather than following the correct process outlined on our website.
Our returns policy is clearly stated in multiple places: under the 'Returns' section linked in both our website’s header and footer, as well as on individual product listings.
As a small, independent brand managing seasonal stock and tight inventory levels, we cannot adopt the same flexible policies as larger retailers. We do encourage all customers to review our policies before purchasing.
Despite the return being outside policy and unauthorised, we issued a goodwill refund of nearly £150 something we were not obligated to do. We also waived the standard return fee, which is in place to discourage bulk buying and protect our small business from significant loss.
In regard to the Instagram post you mentioned, this was a general note about sale items following our recent promotion and was not in reference to your order, which was not placed during a sale. We're sorry if this caused any upset that certainly wasn't our intention.
Lastly, I’d like to clarify that our returns policy has remained unchanged since we began trading five years ago.
We always aim to be fair and transparent, and we’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed on this occasion.

Worth every penny!
The quality of the swimwear is really fantastic. Super buttery soft and very flattering on my curves! My only issue with one bikini was the fabric kept popping off the metal ring which I’m sure is a faulty product and this shouldn’t happen. However, would certainly shop here again as never found a bikini quite like these!

Read returns policy before ordering!
Please before ordering you make sure you read the returns policy!!!!
You cannot return sale items that are marked as final sale and can only return some items from sale if under a certain percentage so make sure you know everything and read it all first too! I’m now left with a bikini and a costume costing over £60 that I cannot return….
On the positive side they were beautiful colours and well made but I won’t ever be ordering from here again…..

Nice quality
Really nice quality bikini for a good price. Personally for me though the proportions were a bit off - not necessarily the sizing, as the items fit - maybe just a bit skimpy for me?! Not very much coverage where you'd want it! Love the designs though, hope to try something else as this seems like a nice small business.

Amazing quality!
I bought a bikini and a one piece from Salty bottom and they are lovely! The order came super quickly so I was able to get my hands on them within a few days. The quality feels amazing and both pieces look stunning. I couldn’t be happier with the products - highly recommend!
