Wot can I say don’t even think of buying a car please. Had to down size my cars for health reasons taken 3 cars in for 1 car so my wife had a new car to run when Iam not here sorted the 3 cars to a decent deal £1115 k for new one sorted paper work out invalid the the new car gave my wife the keys got all there money and my keys then said after 2 weeks sorting sorry you need to pay £2500 more your three cars now need service or no deal after taking all the cars to the dealership so taken all private plates off no insurance no tax on the cars stuck in Huddesfield with one car insurance but it’s the new one in the showroom no deal wot would you do in that position. Where do I start?

We purchased a GWagon summer last year , from the moment it arrived we had issues with the Ghost immobiliser (It wouldn’t pick up the code, which then meant it wouldn’t start!) . The blind spot assist didn’t work, Hassan lied and said “oh the part is out of stock” . After chasing him up multiple times we then took the car to Mercedes- now to be billed £2K to fix all the issues. The GWagon cost £115K - Rip off for a car with issues.

Next up the Bright yellow GTR, this one costing £121k (I know what was I thinking?)
It arrives and the front bumper strut is snapped meaning the undertray started scraping along with ground. We had this fixed ourselves. A few months later we sell the car and have it checked over by our mechanic… only to find out how dangerous it was. Front air bag suspension…. Rear coil overs - you just can’t make this up.

Try contacting SSC funnily enough you get the same old story.

Won’t be back and if this is what £100k+ cars are rolling out the showroom like , I would hate to see the state of the Lambos and Ferraris.

Read the other 1 star reviews, seems to be a common theme with these cowboys.

Good PCP deal on my car but service after was shocking. Recommended a friend and was promised a referral fee. Was told on two/three occasions that it was on it's way but never came to fruition. After enquiring with no response for over 2 months finally got an arrogant message back basically stating they don't need mine or any friends business!

I had a very pleasant experience from start all the way to finish with SSC. Firstly from enquiring about the car I was spoken to very professionally by one of the sales team. I was pleasantly surprised how I the viewing of the car was scheduled around my free time (rather than the other way round like other places). Upon viewing the car it was exactly how it was described over the phone. Overall I’m very happy with the service and I’ve since done many miles in the car without any issues. I’ll definitely be back when I fancy something new. 10/10 service.

I purchased a Golf R from these guys and traded in my old car.The whole process was painless from start to finish, so no stress on my part .They organised everything for me and drove the car down and picked up the part ex. I have never had this level of detail and professionalism from any dealer ( even Porsche ) and would definitely recommend them . We now have a lovely new car without the hassle and worry of getting rid of our old one.

So I recently found the car I was looking for.. BMW M2, and I spoke to someone named Martin from the showroom. Martin told me in order to secure the car I was interested in I would have to leave a deposit of £1000. So I paid the company £1000 and thought according to what I was told I secured the car SO SURELY THE CAR SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SOLD TO ANOTHER PERSON?? , Later on when I was about to arrange to drive down from west midlands and pick up the car the car had been sold. SOLD despite my secured deposit on the vehicle. So this defeats the purpose of a deposit.
Why would you take a deposit upfront from somebody then have the audacity to sell the car within hours of the transaction. This sales rep is deluded. The company reviews show the bad service they have offered to previous customers. When I spoke to someone regarding this dispute I was told oh it was a system error so why did you take my money,?? Where did my money go?? which car was my money secured to?? There cannot be a system error here folks!! this company is a crook company and the service is clearly rubbish and the people who dealt with me are have diabolically cocked up... DO NOT TRADE WITH THESE PEOPLE FOLKS BE AWARE!!!

Tried selling my car to these, a Nissan GTR 67 plate. Shak messaged me direct (the owner).
The amount they offered me was abysmal. I would have literally lost £15k which I got when I sold my car to someone else.
Don’t ever sell your cars to these they will rip you off.

Felt Pressured into buying a car that had damage to the rear bumper (BMW M3). Needless to say I walked away.

Came to Shaks to see a VW golf gtd that had just landed in store the previous night. Managed to put down a deposit, PartEx my old car and drive away in the golf within 4days. Not only was the whole Experience smooth and professional but my new car was fully cleaned, details and delivered to a high standard.

The buying experience was good and the car was just as described. What let the overall purchase down was linked to car servicing that was not recorded and therefore not recognised by the car and the previous owner failing to notify Land Rover that they were no longer the owner which has caused issues trying to register it with Land Rover. However, the sales staff were good and the car is excellent....it could have been 5 stars if these issues had been sorted

Probably on my third car purchase from SSC excellent service will be back for more that’s for sure.
