Reception staff, Maureen and the young man absolutely lovely 5 stars, the one out of 5 stars is for the optometrist who was a bit of a nightmare, initially nice during consultation, a young Asian lady at the West Norwood branch, again initially nice, problems started when I ordered glasses from another distributor, and asked for intermediate prescription, had a phone call with this young lady as I could not see when using my laptop with the close up prescription given, would not help was border line passive aggressive and obstructive, insisted I book in for new appointment at possible additional fee, of £85.00 adding on eye screening which I had already had, even though I had just had my yearly eye check up two months before, completely unhelpful. Have been coming to this particular branch for over 10 years. Lately, service levels have decreased, again, not from Maureen and the young gentleman who operates the receptionist desk. You would think that customer loyalty would be rewarded, but it seems to be going in the opposite direction. Can appreciate the business needs to increase revenue, but this should not lead to decreased, and often borderline rude customer service levels, which I have experienced in the last two years! Very unpleasant experience! Still having issue with glasses!Despite the following reply and still no apology i have still not been contacted for a consultation to fix this issue terrible service!

I can't recommend them enough. Such a brilliant place with brilliant people.

A high street optician had broken my glasses when reglazing and wouldn't do anything about it. They went above and beyond to help me, to reuse my lenses in new frames and to sort it all out within a few hours.

I won't ever go anywhere else again!

Well for a start the receptionists are very friendly and always ready to help. The optician I have been seeing is very professional and knows her job very well and I feel very confident in what she tells me. She is also extremely nice.

Brilliant engagement, care and attention from Tulsie - I really hope I got her name right. She is wonderful.
