We are a group of friendly, expert, optical practices who have served our communities in South East London, North Kent and Surrey for decades.
We have many years of experience in taking care of all our customers’ eye care needs and concerns. We offer a wide range of services including specialist eyecare, dry eye management, sunglasses, children’s eye care, myopia management and hearing care.
Our practices are located in Crystal Palace, East Dulwich Purley, Sydenham, Welling, and West Norwood. We look forward to welcoming you to the renowned Woodfalls experience.

The clinical reputation and range of services offered by Woodfalls has continued to grow, our success has been due to our committed optometrists, fully qualified dispensing and contact lens opticians, optical assistants and a team of dedicated support staff.
Our practices are fully equipped with the latest in optical equipment and all of our branches offer specialist services. We have the latest OCT (optical coherence tomography) machines at all six sites, we now also offer Optomap scanning, plus The Hearing Care Partnership to provide all things audiology.
As an independent group of opticians we dedicate the time necessary to ensure our customers receive the best care and advice. We work closely with our clinical partners to ensure we focus on our local communities and provide the very best clinical care.

I had my eyes checked for the first time in a long time. I was very intrigued with how thorough the exam was. The ophthalmologist was very friendly and efficient in explaining the results to me.

My son had a wonderful experience during his eye examination. The staff were incredibly warm, patient, and friendly, which made him feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. He actually enjoyed the examination - something I didn’t expect! It turned out to be a very positive and engaging experience for him. We’re really happy with the care and attention he received.

Woodfall - West Norwood and Crystal Palace
I’ve used Woodfall’s branches at both West Norwood and Crystal Palace and have been very impressed by the service they provide. The staff are caring, polite and you really feel like you’re being looked after. You get plenty of information and reminders about any appointments and they will go out of their way to sort out any issues.

R Woodfall Opticians in Crystal Palace…
R Woodfall Opticians in Crystal Palace - specifically - is one of the best opticians that I have used for my family. All the technicians and desk staff are attentive, patient, courteous, friendly, flexible, knowledgeable and calm. The environment is warm and inviting and my school aged children are always put ease. When they found out that my daughter had to return back to boarding school and would not be around by the time her glasses were ready, they ordered it express and even waited after the shop had closed for her glasses to arrive in order for her to be able to use them at school. I am extremely grateful to them all and especially the ladies that were on shift that day. Thank you all so much x
