Right from the start you can tell RUJO BOOTS COMPANY has some cracks in their foundation !!! buyer be aware of artist scammers !!! I order a pair of boots. It’s called Darien and they sent me a pair of boots that was completely unfinished. I have pictures to prove on my original order. They sent me the second pair the same things, and they almost attempted to send me the third pair and I said no I just want my money back. I had to fight with them for months going back-and-forth and show them proof of what they were trying to shove down my throat, horrible execution, poor quality, unfinished product⚠️do yourself a favor and stay away from RUJO !!!
NO INTEGRITY HERE⚠️ JUST A RIP OFF SCAMMERS👎
SUPER POOR QUALITY AND THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY ⚠️
And they lied to the customer all day long👎

Their boots came in and I tried them on. I never left my house, and after a few minutes I realized they wouldn't stretch enough and were too tight in the toe box. They came with a few minor scratches on the soles. No big deal. Except they make you send a picture of the sole, and they denied me returning them because I tried them on! It was their scratches! They also will not let you return for a refund anything bought on sale. Yet they charged me over $12 to be able to return them. What a RIP OFF. These are low quality entry level boots. Put a few extra buck together and buy either Chisos, Rios of Mercedes, or Luccheses. You'll be glad you did.

I had to give a star; otherwise, it wouldn't let me leave a review. I have been wanting a pair of boots from them, and I finally ordered them, only for them to cancel my order a week later. I was so disappointed in their business ethics and customer service. Don't bother ordering from them and be disappointed. I receive a lot of emails about their promotions and sales, and when I finally order from them, they come out with BS..

So far rujo has been a great boot company to purchase from love the quality of their boots they fit comfortable and true to size the best part about the rujo team is Jim and barbra the customer service is great
They have a amazing return policy if the product doesn’t fit right no issues returning it for another size is probably why I own 9 pairs and counting

They make a good [and good looking] product. If you're not satisfied, they are prompt with the return process.

I've bought several pairs over the past few years for me and my wife. We're happy customers!

I was cautious to order from Rujo since I read the old reviews online. I saw their new CEO directly respond to some threads on reddit saying how he changed how they handle business

Barbara the Customer Service Manager is absolutely world class at her job.
Since they were so prompt in taking care of me, I've since ordered a 2nd pair, hoodie, shirt, boot condition from their memorial day sale, and my wife got her 2nd pair of boots

The boots are extremely well made, customer service is out of this world, shipping is quick

If you're on the fence, do yourself the favor and pull the trigger, you will not be disappointed!

BUYER BEWARE! SCAM! Merchandise looks like the ads, but the fit is terrible. In my opinion they are a scam company. They offer daily promotions, if you purchase an item on promotion you CANNOT receive a refund, only exchange or store credit. Which sucks since the items are high ticketed items even on promotion. They scammed me out of $350. The boot I ordered looked exactly like the picture, but I was extremely disappointed when I tried them on. The INSTEP was horrible, far too tight. I had to do some extreme work to get the boot on my foot and it was almost impossible to get the boot back off. My foot is not wide or fat. I have normal sized 8 feet, and I always order a size 8.5 for extra room and comfort. I failed to read the return policy before purchasing from RUJO. Guess the jokes on me. I’m out of $350. You cannot get a refund on promotional items. Well Rujo, you got me, but never again will I shop here. Total waste of money. There is absolutely nothing else on their site I would want to exchange for.

They ended up honoring their promise.

Be very careful purchasing from Rujo. They promise easy refunds but always find a way to deny the refund. This time, they said it was a final sale but even when I started the process to purchase the exact same pair again, nothing about “final sale” was ever mentioned. Sadly, the 2.6 rating they have is way too generous.

After reading the reviews I took a chance and order boots via their sale pricing. The ordering was easy and delivery was direct and fast. I was so impressed with the quality of the boots, that I ordered the matching belt and again ordering was easy and delivery was direct and fast. KUDOS to the Rujo Boots team

Rujos has very poor and unresponsive customer service overall. They do not allow returns if boots were bought during a sale, and they run constant sales so that this applies to nearly all of their customers. Even so, I was fine with a simple size exchange, but Rujos has been completely unresponsive for months despite reaching out on many occasions.

After waiting 3 months on a wait list, I was notified the boots I wanted for my wife were available. Immediately, I ordered the pair (The Anna / chocolate /8.5 $475) for my wife on 3.1.25 after waiting 3 months on a wait list for the correct size.
The boots arrived about a week later. The boot box label was for the correct boot that I ordered but when I opened the box there was a different boot of the same size called the Abby in a light blue. I have been going back and forth in emails, only to be told they don't have the correct boot and there is no ETA. This was a present and so my wife decided she would keep them. I asked 3 times for a refund of the difference which is $200.00 and they will NOT respond to my emails or my phone calls. Poor business practices make for a bad business future. Hopefully they make good on this and I will update the response. They did ask for a review after my purchase which I was not satisfactory and they chose not to publish it on their site.

My wife ordered a pair of python boots for me for Christmas. When I opened them, one boot had a large seperation between the scales on the toe and several scales were loose. I returned them and ordered a replacement pair in caiman. When these finally arrived, one of the seams on the side of heel area of the boot was pulled and separated. It looked like someone had tried unsuccessfully to glue it back. The other boot had scruffs on the sole. The tissue paper in the box was all crinkled up. It was very obvious this pair of boots had been worn, returned and shipped out again as replacements for the first defective pair.
Overall the boots were beautiful, but sub-par workmanship and nonexistent quality control are major problems. As is the shady practice of reselling returned boots with no notification that they have been returned. Rujo initially gave me store credit. After calling them and explaining that with the experience I had with them, I had no desire for store credit. They did credit my card back with the correct amount. Also, I recieved a request to write a review, which was worded almost identically to this one. Two weeks after submitting the review, Rujo has not posted it on their website. Just another ding in their trustworthiness. I will gladly pay the slightly higher price for trustworthy Tecovas.

Be careful when buying Rujo boots during a sale. I bought 2 pair of boots one ostrich and one caiman. I ordered10 Ds because I had purchased a pair of boots earlier in the year that were 9.5s and they were too tight but because the soles were scuffed I couldn't return them. Needless to say I only tried the new ones on and only... only on carpet - no scuffs. Well I received both pairs and not only were they too big but they weren't the same amount of too big. All snip toes (as was the pair I bought earlier this year). Well guess what, when I contacted them they couldn't replace them for the next size down (out of stock) and they wouldn't exchange them for similarly price boot that they did have in stock. So basically if I accept store credit then I just spent $750+ for only one pair of boots in stead of the two pair I purchased. With discretionary money hard to come by these days this sort of thing leaves a real bad taste in your mouth for sure.

UPDATE: so I finally agreed to return one of my boots for a store credit. Shipped back my boots, saw that they had been received them and asked when I could expect to receive store credit. They’re running a new sale and there are actually some boots on sale that are in the size I need, well nope 7-10 days to process my return. REALLY? These guys are so frustrating.
