Would just like to use this as an opportunity to both thank and praise all in Rugby Travel Ireland (RTI).

At the tail end of the 2025/2026 season we decided to look at options for a tour, something we had not done for many years, but having had a very successful season, we deemed it worthwhile.

From our initial conversations with Darragh on the scoping and location, we landed on Toulouse, due to the clubs connection with Trevor Brennan, their experience in successfully having tours to the area and the opportunity to attend a Top 14 game.

Once the wheels were set in motion, the attention to detail, we received from RTI, and in particular Sean and Alex in the office, every query was handled instantly, the ability to pay in instalments and the ease at which the payment process was, to the overall value for money, it was second to none.

With over 30 players, supporters, coaches etc attending, RTI sourced a central 4 star hotel, organised buses to shuttle us around and provided practical know how with regular check in calls on the phone and teams.

The final addition was the presence of the on-site support in Toulouse in the name of Tony Cusack, one of lifes true gentlemen, not only was he excellent company, but when, on our final day, a passport for one of the travelling party decided to go on a tour of its own, he and the rest of the RTI staff sprang into action and ensured that the player was able to travel home with the rest of the squad.

Not only would we have no hesitation in using RTI again, and plans in motion for next years tour already, we would have no hesitation in recommending them in person, a 5 star service

We had an excellent experience on our recent school rugby tour to Portugal. From start to finish, the organisation of the trip was exceptional, with everything running smoothly and efficiently.

The excellent rugby, pool and gym facilities provided ideal spaces for the students to play, relax and train, while the varied and plentiful food was enjoyed by everyone. Overall, the arrangements made the tour enjoyable and stress-free for both staff and students. What really stood out, however, was the level of support we received throughout the trip.

Jamie, our tour guide, was outstanding. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and any additional requests or last-minute changes we had were met with ease and a great attitude. Jamie’s flexibility, professionalism and willingness to help made a real difference to the success of the tour.

We would have no hesitation in recommending RTI to other schools looking to organise a rugby tour abroad. A very well-organised, enjoyable and memorable trip - thank you to everyone involved!

Daragh and Alex were a joy to work with in organising our tour to Boston. 45 tourists in total. Very flexible and extremely helpful in preparing us all for the trip. Couldn’t recommend RTI more.

Best experience of my lifetime, Alex was such a great help. As a player I never had to worry about a thing, which allowed me to have fun with the guys and be able to focus on the Rugby games. I made so many connections with people I would never have met, I was able to even meet my own relatives from Galway while up there. If you ever wish to do a tour down in Ireland, I couldn’t recommend Rugby Travel Ireland more.

Everyone was great cities and stops were all well thought out and executed great.

We had a great experience with RTI. Everything was organised. Communication was quick and straight forward. The tour guide Anna was great and always around if we needed anything, handling issues really well without any fuss. Would definitely recommend them and would be happy to book with them again.

Travelled to Lisbon with U13 team with total of 59 travelling. RTI helped organise everything for us, our travel companions Tony and Aisling were super during the trip. Great trip, would recommend RTI for taking the hassle out of planning a trip for a large group.

We at Navan RFC U14 girls had an amazing trip with Rugby Travel Ireland, to Parma,Italy in May this year. From the first phone call to Daragh, right through to landing home,everything was fully explained and transparent.We explained what we were looking for and the team put together a custom package for us which included flight, hotel,meals, entry to an U14s tournament,attendance at the Italy v England women's six nations game,with access to players before and after the game,training session with Irish International Anna Caplice,who was our rep for the trip and who went above and beyond for the girls and parents throughout the weekend.We finished off the trip with a visit to Gardaland, which was amazing.
A special mention goes to the Rugby travel Ireland Ops team, Siadbh and Alex who made the whole process so easy,with the flexible payment options and answering the multiple emails and phone calls from me throughout the whole processs.They put a huge amount of work into organizing the huge itenerary for 40+ people,which couldn't have run any smoother.
I would highly recommend Rugby Travel Ireland to anyone thinking of a trip,no matter how big or small the group,as all of the planning and stress is taken away from the customer,by the amazing Rugby Travel Ireland team.

Our U15's had a tour to Zebre and from start to finish Rugby travel Ireland looked after us a special mention to Alex, Craig and Siadbh who really looked after us as a group, thanks for the memories. Would highly recommend this company for your Rugby tour, they cover everything with class. Thanks,again lads and lady.

Desmond rugby u15 tour to Italy
From my first meeting with Darragh where we just had an idea, to the day 102 of us arrived back home RTI were a pleasure to deal with.
Very professional and friendly at the same tine, nothing was a problem.
All the players and parents had a ball....hard to tell who enjoyed it most!!!
Many thanks to Siadbh for her continuous communication and answering any questions we had.
And also a huge thanks to Alex and Craig who were on the ground with us in parma making sure everything went smoothly.
The whole team made our 2026 tour a memory that the players will talk about for a very long time!!!!

All of our tour guides (Alex,Craig and siadbh) were really nice and helpful to us while on tour they helped us out so much and all the places we went were really fun

Everything was perfect the instructor Alex was the nicest fella I’ve met and was so understanding of everything

Recently used for our Teams trip to Portugal, organisation was great and hotel was spotless. Only challenge was our game was moved from Portugal to Spain, now ot cost no difference but it was a trek all the same.
Easy paying process and plenty of updates and warnings.

My 14 year old son had an amazing, trouble free trip with his rugby team to Salou just recently. I as a parent was very impressed by the experience beforehand as the app that we were given access to, showed all the information in one place. It made it easy for my son to follow and ensured that he was properly prepared for the trip. It was an excellent experience.

A team of 24 adults, staying and playing rugby in Portugal, Rugby travel Ireland were great from the outset. The planning and online service is great for payment management across all the players. The hotel was perfect and the bus company managing transfers were great to deal with. When original opposition cancelled the team worked hard to get us alternative opposition and they were great craic. Overall I would highly recommend Rugby Travel Ireland.
