I feel that the dealings with RTB have been unfair to me. As a co-owner of the property, I was not even provided with a copy of the lease contract, which is completely unjust. I sincerely hope that such practices are not common in other countries. As an immigrant from India, I was expecting a more transparent and corruption-free approach, but unfortunately, my experience here has been quite disappointing. It seems that the situation is no better than what I experienced back home.

Unbelievable I had opened a case against my landlord with the RTB the Case was a link on my phone for meeting, I waited 2 hours for meeting that never happened ? Now my landlords won the case because they said I never turned up for meeting,which o did , but the link they gave me from my phone obviously wasn’t working RTB always sides with the landlord, I’m so angry and upset,my doggy landlord has won unfairly

Worst website in Ireland. Sends you round in circles. My registration has gone to Draft since last year when it was fully registered - nothing changed. Cannot renew it. How to get it out of Draft? Impossible to find out. Will have ring them!!!!

Shocking Rude staff impossible to deal with calling for the last 3 weeks no help from anyone, Called them today and they had updated my file but never bothered to tell me, Every time you call the more unfriendly the staff get, Very bad service if people stopped paying the might get nicer staff

I wish there was a zero star option. Such a terrible organisation. Website does not work. Called to request assistance and spoke to the rudest individual I have ever had the misfortune of speaking to. Have sent emails but not holding my breath while awaiting response.

RTB.ie is completely useless if it allows landlords to raise rent by up to 50%, even though the law limits the increase to just 1.5–3% per year. It’s absurd that a platform meant to protect tenants actually enables such abuses. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of effective measures and protection for tenants against unfair practices.

Call, get told to send issue (their website issue) via email to them. Sent several emails chasing. No one responds. Call. Conflicting information with every person. They keep dropping the calls. I cannot believe this place is in existence.

The worst company ever. Nobody is helpful

The laws in ireland dont allow the rtb any real power against landlords and agencies, overall they can help to a certain point but with my experince they couldnt do much at all to help with my case. FLAC or treshold are a better source of help

The RTB as a body are pointless!
if you rent from an agency and have a dispute with your landlord the RTB cannot get the landlords contact details so the landlord wins the case!! the legislation and rtb need an overall update and review.

The system is pointless , managed to pay last year but this year no luck , after contacting them by phone I was told there system does not work with a IMac computer , i said it kinda worked last week and then froze me out , so buy a microsoft computer to give them money for doing nothing , (by the why it's the same Mac as last year) .
if this is the future of Ireland we are finished :(

Does not work for Landlords either. Nobody answers phone. Website not working . Cannot update password. Ie. all the issues well documented by multiple users.

I cannot understand why this site is so difficult to navigate and they have not made it any easier in the last 5 years. Surely there is someone in authority in the organisation who sees the reviews and note their contents. I can see why people give up trying to make a registration. It took me about 2 hours to make a simple registration the other day

This company only work for landlords they should changed their name to LTB.

Dealt with a lovely agent by the name of Bianca, I was having trouble registering as my property was divided in two flats, waited only a day for responses and my problem was resolved promptly.

Worst website ever coded. Every time I engage with it, something breaks. So frustrating.

Sujit was wonderful to deal with, he really knows his product knowledge, super friendly, kind and patient! Honestly a great person to speak with, he is fantastic. It was a pleasure to speak with you.

An organization that works for landlords. I provided all the evidence, the landlord has not given a single cent for repairs for 10.5 years. The house was not broken and the landlord don't have the right keep deposit. I explained that I couldn’t come to the case hearing, I have a small child and I don’t have a car. How can I arrive by taxi or on horseback! I can provide documents signed by a solicitor. They did not investigate, did not postpone the consideration of the case, they simply closed the case. An organization that helps only landlords. People need to write and contact newspapers, TDs, everywhere, for which this organization receives money if they do not help people.
