Rough Linen Omdömen

I love the feel of these towels and the color is so saturated. I have washed them and they come out of the dryer looking soft and ready to hang. I use the napkins for washcloths, the kitchen towels for and towels and the bath towels in my new spa bathroom and it was the final touch in the remodel of an old outdated 1960's primary bathroom. All in all it is a great product at a reasonable price. I took a star off for the lag time between ordering and receiving the products. It did not affect me as I have plenty of towels but I did start to wonder if they would ever come. When they did, I felt that the quality and beauty of them made it worth the wait.

No one else has linen in these colors. Gorgeous, vibrant and very high quality fabric. They look great on my bed and feel smooth and soft when cuddled into them. My partner and I are very happy and will definitely order from the rough linen folks again. A solid recommend to anyone looking for nice linen sheets.

Beautiful quality linen, gorgeous colors and they washed well too. Highly recommended

I’ve been a Rough Linen customer over 7 years and I can attest to the fact that this company stands behind their products. Not only is their customer service superior and friendly, their linen is equal to what they offer. Quality and heirloom products seem hard to come by these days, spending money on products we want as consumers to last us a long time. When I buy Rough Linen I know I’m buying something special. I’ve gifted Rough Linen to family with nothing but praise. Do yourself a favor, splurge and treat yourself to the joy of linen.

Love these sheets. Very generous in size, the same size as my bedspreads so the turndown looks great. They are very long lasting. Much better size and quality than other brands I’ve tried. Have bought them for over 12 years.

These orchid colored linen napkins are exquisite. The color is so beautiful and they will be perfect with my linen tablecloth. The napkins were well worth the wait.

I love the products I buy from Rough Linen. Each item is beautifully crafted and of the highest quality linen. It’s so comforting to get into a bed with fresh linen sheets no matter the temperature. We know we are collecting heirlooms with each purchase. This is a beautiful and practical investment

Nice fit/cut with quality fabric and construction. Looks great and is very comfortable. Pockets and length very nice. The eucalyptus color is so pretty - a deep blue/green.

The design, the quality of the linen and the sewing,
are all superlative. I purchased the Bella Linen Pinafore Apron. It's so easy to wear, I often leave the house wearing it. The ochre is such a beautiful color. I've looked a long time for an apron like this...and for me this tics all the boxes.

This is the second time I have ordered linen napkins and I love my new napkins ! The color is just as described. Customer Service kept me informed from receiving my order, to production and then shipping. I appreciated their communication w/me. I’ll be back to add to my linen collections.

I can’t speak to the quality of the goods sold by Rough Linen — because I’m still waiting for my order. Days turn into weeks and, if you read through some of the comments here, weeks turn into months.

One imagines an enterprise that’s in the business of selling linens would have stock on hand of common sizes. From what I can tell, that’s not how Rough Linen works. They take orders and your money and then commission what you’ve ordered. (As a decoy, the consumer is informed that a shipping label has been created, after which the poor customer is stuck waiting a whole lot longer.)

The result is that, if you need linens in a reasonable amount of time, a competitor may be a better option.

I have ordered numerous (and glorious) items from Rough linen over the years. Aprons, sheets, robes, clothing and towels. When you prefer superb quality and long lasting luxurious linen you can be assured that Rough Linen will deliver!

LOVE the new Cherry Red color!

Both the pillow covers and the tea towels are adding cheerful holiday vibes now (and will be integrated into everyday use after the seasonal display.)

I've used Rough Linen for years now. I hesitated at first, for one does pay for quality, yet I'm so glad I placed my first order (and more). Rough Linen curtains, bed, bath and table linens have stayed lovely thru many washings, grandkids' overnights and cuddly pets. I'm recently taken with the newest throws. And really I'm as excited to have decided on a new queen-sized summer cover in charcoal! Our Dogue de Bordeaux sometimes has sandy feet when she crawls onto our bed. Problem solved! Lovable dog and pet-friendly linen.

I have had great experience with the pillowcases, duvet covers, sheets, and bath sheets. I think one has to really enjoy the properties of linen--and thick, rough, long-lasting linen at that--to truly appreciate Rough Linen.

Take the bath sheets for instance. If one expects them to be as absorbent and soft as terry cloth, she will be disappointed. The bath sheets will be rough and can take 2 - 3 strokes to remove moisture from an arm. The upside is you'll be mildly exfoliating your skin while you're soaking up the moisture. I love that. The bath sheets (and all other linen products) dry fast too. I love that most of all. I rely on them in these increasingly hot summers. Spread them out to dry, and it won't take long. One day this last summer I had work plus two separate workouts. I needed 3 showers that day. My towel was dry before each one of them.

I own 2. I'm considering a couple more. I was offered an incentive to write a review here. That said, I simply repeated the same review that I wrote, for no reason other than I wanted to, on the Rough Linen site.

The Orkney Linen Flat Sheet is luxuriously ample. It elevates your sleep making each night as though you were at a spa!

I purchased my second pinafore apron from Rough Linen because I used the first one so much I could not bear to be without it when it was in the wash. It is so comfortable, even in the summer, I forget I have it on. It is very well made and gives me great coverage for the messiest jobs in the kitchen. I machine wash and line dry it but have not felt the need to iron it or give it any other special care. I have been using my aprons for several months now and I prefer them to any of my other aprons.

I recently bought the bordered linen throw blanket in Eucalyptus and Sky. The color combo looks modern and cool. I love it and plan to purchase another to use as a gift. Highly recommend!

It’s what I had hoped for: a sweep of cream ground for contrast with the cherry colored drop-leaf table and red-orange wood floors, and the ochre & burnt orange poppy petals for harmony. The substantial drape of quality linen, the hand-blocked multicolored print and mitered corners are typical of Rough Linen. Rough Linen has never failed to earn my trust and admiration.

This site won’t allow a photo attachment but we enjoy it every day. Can’t hope for better than just right.

This is my 2nd order from Rough Linen.
I love my new Orkney Robe.

I will definitely be a returning customer!
