Ordered a book but it was NOT a book it was a text. Contacted them for my money back. Instead of giving me the money back they charged me 200% more. I now have multiple charges for them and they are telling me it's their policy not to refund more than half of the money. I've argued and wasted 10 days going back and forth. THIS IS A SCAM. An amazing find
I am thrilled with my hard copy of the book Rooted in Faith. It is beautifully written and illustrated.
The correspondence between myself and them has been excellent.
I would recommend to any Bible reader as a guide to understanding the Bible as a whole and not just in chunks. It is the greatest story ever told. It is God’s story of a love relationship between Him and those He created.
This accompaniment to the Bible enhances that story in a simple and concise way. It is worth every penny paid for it.

This company is advertising Bible study book. After paying, you receive a download link. It is NOT an actual book but a download. Extremely misleading and disappointing. They will not give a refund despite their misleading customers. Then they offer the typical 30%, then 50% refunds. I've just found on my statement another hefty charge for a subscription I have not asked for nor wanted. Be very aware...In fact...don't buy. Very disappointed in this company, if it is even a company.

Again, if I could give a minus, I would. I thought i had ordered a physical book. Only to find it is a download, plus a monthly subscription. So far, these scammers have taken £58. There is no way I would pay this much for a book.

The people at Rooted in Faith have been very helpful to me when I emailed them that I didn’t want a digital copy of the book I ordered Bible Made Simple. They gave me a 50% refund since they had already sent the digital copy. So finally I got the hard copy of the book yesterday and it it a beautiful book. I am well pleased. It is exactly what was advertised on email.

Very disappointed with our experience
Very disappointed with our experience, especially from a Faith based company.
We purchased what we believed was a physical book and affirmation cards, til we realised (once no tracking or delivery updates were shared), that they're not physical itema, but pdf documents that I could have made on Canva myself.
The “free” item at checkout was also deceptive and misleading, as it led to an unexpected recurring subscription that was not clearly explained.
We have also been unable to cancel the subscription due to issues with the website.
Overall, this feels misleading and untrustworthy, and we would not recommend.

They canceled immediately and then asked me if I wanted 30% of my $29.99 back. I don’t remember giving any financial information to these people… Look at their website and see how many one star ratings they have. Stay away!

Stop this site “Rooted in faith
Please please do not order the deal placed with the offer of free shipping it’s a scam. Do not give your email address for free newsletters it’s a sham. You will not understand this until 2 days later when you are charged again for the monthly newsletter off £21.93. All information which should have been given when first ordering is then available once they take the next installation and sign you up to a subscription. When you try to cancel the subscription you won’t be able to. Please also be aware the reason for no shipping is because every thing has to be downloaded. To stop future payments I informed my bank who were brilliant. This site should not be allowed to operate.

Misleading and deceitful advertising
As with previous comments, charged for what was advertised as a physical copy and then £21.94 for a so called membership despite having spotted the devious scheme and explicitly emailed immediately, and before the payment was initiated, to explicitly not authorise any future debits on the basis of my "mistake". Abby in your support department has refused to accept any responsibility and states its company policy to only give a 50% refund. This is completely contrary to what you have stated in other replies to other complainants. A total disgrace from a so called Christian organisation. Please refund in full both the £15 for a digital book I didn't ordered and the £21.94 claimed under false pretences, I have referred your Facebook page to the UK Advertising Standards Authority

When talking to Abby through a resolution email provided, I get a partial offer for refund but not clear on which charge their offering it on. So far offering me 50 percent back. I never agreed to an online service/membership to begin with. So far been a very misleading website.
4/14 UPDATE: They gave me a refund after I explained to Abby that thier "return policy" didnt cover false charges of membership that I did not want to begin with. Not refunding it is theft. Took me a week to get it back after bickering back and forth through email.

I thought I was ordering a book
I thought I was ordering a book, but it actually turned out to be an electronic subscription. When I asked for a refund (and read the “refund policy”), it was denied. Company appears to be a scam and does not honor the stated refund policy. Avoid this company, even though they sound authentic.

If I could give zero i would. Sad that a faith based company is like this. Yes I purchased direct from the website . Didn't realize i was i getting an online book, also was unknowingly signed up for a monthly subscription. Emailed them for full refund of both with no response. Removed my payment method so I can't be charged again. May dispute with cc company. Sure wish I would have checked here before going forward
*update. I was given the price of the online book as credit toward the physical book, so still had to pay balance of physical book. They did cancel my membership, and refunded the entire amount instead of the 30% originally offered. If ordering from here just double check to make sure you're ordering the PHYSICAL copy of the book, AND they membership box isn't prechecked for you. They did make thing right, although I wouldn't have paid the asking price of the physical copy, I would have passed.

I downloaded Bible Made Simple on a whim and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made this year. I've struggled with anxiety for a long time and the Scripture lessons inside have given me a peace I can't fully explain. I read it every morning now before work.
