Was Rogue Economics closed?

I have the credit $1476 USD in Rogue Economics , which was confirmed by Rogue Economics' customer service through Email.

How can I get my credit (money) $1476USD back?

In a moment of weakness I purchased a subscription. The advice was no good, so I cancelled.

Then.. My email was sold by them to all of their affiliates under a variety of names. I now get ongoing spam, two years later about financial advice. I report the spam, then another affiliate pops up to spam my inbox again and again.

I've written to them multiple times to complain, and always get, "we're so sorry, we have removed you from our mailing list".. Which is laughable because I'm probably no longer on THEIR mailing list, just in the mass amounts of lists I'm now on since they'd sold my information.

Do Not sign up for anything with these people. SCAM.

Watch their reply to this too, they clearly have a lot of money invested in marketing.. If they were any good at all at what they do, their work and advice would speak more for themselves than the army of reply bots and sales people they have.

What I thought was a one-time purchase became a subscription at 3x the price using a different name. The only way I found them was seeing an unrecognized purchase years later. Garbage. The only recommendation in the past 3 months were to sell DELL after a big stock drop, to sell at the lowest value. The stock is up 8% since the recommendation. Clueless. Nothing like locking in your losses.

From Jan. 1 to May 8, 2024 I did 8 trades Prins advice with net loss of $2201. I did 14 trades with Signal, 4 positive and 8 negative, with a net gain of $2250. Most trades were approx. $5000.

Started sending me spam saying I requested their spam, a reputable company doesn't need to lie and send spam unsolicited.

This company is nothing but a SPAM EMAIL company, AND they don't pay their bills either. I have been receiving SPAM emails from this company for weeks, and after having used THEIR unsubscribe link and receiving even MORE spam I decided to write the parent company, and BILL them for my valuable time, energy, and Internet Services. They responded within a day with an email stating that my email was removed from all their lists, but I continue to receive multiple emails of their SPAM. Even on Christmas Day! I have sent TWO invoices to the company for services rendered, and they have ignored the first. The total cost owed to me is $4,000.00 please PAY me for your GARBAGE SPAM REMOVAL.

The email being spammed is DIFFERENT from the one I use for Trustpilot.

I started receiving these as spam emails. I never signed up, and it's impossible to unsubscribe. I'd be concerned about their business practice if they solicit new customers from spamming.

I've never heard of this company yet they twice attempted to charge my credit card which was fraudulently obtained. My bank refused the charge on my behalf which required us to cancel the card. This company is obviously a scam operation.
Update: I have received a message from Rogue via Trustpilot asking for my account information. Apparently they not only fraudulently obtain credit card information, they also do not read. I've never heard of this place, how would I have account information? Scammers!!

Please stop Spamming my email account, I have unsubscribed on multiple occasions.

Lots of bad advice for way too much $$$. Stay away. They continue to bill my credit card without my permission. Never again.

I first subscribed to Nomi Prins "Distortion Report" on September 7, 2022 for $49.00. It is one of several subscriptions sold by "Rogue Economics". Shortly after the company verified my subscription, my computer was hacked by a virus that resulted in over $163.00 to repair the damage. The computer repair company stated that the more likely cause of this damage was due to Rogue Economics' email. I have email records of contacting Rogue Economics on September 7, 11 & 19 plus January 24, 2023. On my phone call to member service on September 11, I requested, and received, a verbal promise that my Visa account would be credited for $49.00. It was not until January 23 , 2023 that my wife, who takes care of the bills, told me that Rogue Economics (RE) never refunded/credited my $49.00. (There was about a three month lapse of time from our normal routine when I suffered a major heart attack in early November that required two separate heart surgeries.) On January 24, I called RE and it basically stated that it has no record of being contacted by me and denied my $49.00 refund/credit. I do have the record of those contacts to prove the company is lying and scamming me! The public should be made aware that it should place no trust in this company that Nomi Prins is associated with!

This company sent my refund back to my debit card after I told them the account was closed, and they would have to mail a check. The bank confirmed that they sent the refund back to Rogue Economics, and I forwarded them the information from the bank. But they are insisting that they cannot send a check, since they 'already refunded' the funds. Slick way to get out of the refund, huh? I am currently filing complaints with the Florida Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission, and the Better Business Bureau. Maybe they cannot afford the $329.80 legitimate refund?
Don't do business with them. The investment advice was bad enough for me to cancel, and now they cannot even honor that.

It seems Nomi is using a multi-level sales and marketing scheme to entice members to keep investing in Rogue Economics rather than providing investment research and recommendations. After paying $49.95 all you get are marketing pieces designed to get you to pay more for the information she is pitching on stocks. The $49.95 is nothing more than ticklers designed to get your to pay more money to find out about her picks on "warrants". Sorry Nomi, I not buying your sales pitch refund my $49.95 and stop selling my email address to your stock reporting buddies who want the same thing.

When I subscribed I hoped to get some more insight and useful tips as they promise, however the focus seems to be on upgrading your subscription and thus charging more money, I first paid 49,99 and within one week upgraded ( price 99 USD ) with the promise the first paid amount of 49,99 USD would not be charged. This was untrue, I have cancelled my subscription within 3 weeks and therefore am entitled to a complete reimbursement, the 99 USD has now been reimbursed but after three reminders i still have not been reimbursed for the 49,99 USD !

This is a total scam. Most of their pumping is done via YouTube. Read the other reviews about this ... mess.

This is a SCAM operation. Let me give you insight into what happened to me so you can be smarter. Somehow I landed on 1 of these guys email lists… and I say guys because it’s not just Legacy Research Group, it’s Palm Beach Research, Casey Research, Rogue Economics, Brownstone Research, TradeSmith and the many other scams and names these guys operate with. Here’s how ONE OF THEIR SCAMS WORK…

You are offered a small low ticket product to get you in the door. It may be a small $1 offer or some offer to simply collect your credit card details. At this point as long as you stay with original product you buy they just keep trying to upsell you.

However, I cancelled within 24 hours of signing up. I have an email from them and everything to prove they “cancelled” my account. From the day that I cancelled the account I began getting super spammed by over 10 different organizations who are all “trade gurus” and many of them clearly did state in their emails they were referred to me by Jeff Brown from Brownstone Research.

It seemed like they wouldn’t stop. I would keep on unsubscribing and sure enough they would reput me on the list even though I never asked to go on it again. They would also change names and lists over and over again no matter how many times I unsubscribed I was flooded by these fly by knight traders who SCAM PEOPLE.

A simple search of Jeff Brown in my inbox and you will see dozens of different names all attached to the scammer Jeff Brown and this scam group of con artists (see attached images of screenshots). Even though I cancelled my subscription less than one day after signing up in November 2021… you can see as recently as June 2022 they email me garbage. It’s gotten so bad, I had to screenshot them me unsubscribing and even email them the screenshot so they know what they’re doing is a 100% illegal and yet they still keep emailing me!!!

Now if the scam ended there I would I guess be fine since it’s just emails… but then I got charged nearly 6 months after I cancelled and have proof of cancelling with Brownstone Research, I got a charge from SR TradeSmith for $49. Now I know what software I subscribe to and trust me I have never done business or know of TradeSmith. So called my bank and disputed it within 24 hours of seeing the charge. Oddly enough my bank then DENIED MY DISPUTE. I went crazy because I do know this was a scam charge but somehow my bank didn’t believe me.

After nearly 2 months of fighting with my bank & asking for their proof from “SR TradeSmith” I get a letter that SR TradeSmith sent to my bank. Here is where the scam all connects and you see what is intention of all these companies and scammers…

Attached you’ll find the exact letter they sent to my bank. As you can see they reference the low ticket purchase I made 6 months ago as reason why their $49 was an authorized charge. What’s weird here though is they are 2 different company so how does SR TradeSmith know purchase of products from Brownstone Research? Do you see in the letter how they crafted the letter knowing as they scam people out of $49 that they would get a flurry of chargebacks… so they drafted this letter showing how you supposedly had already 1 or 2 authorized purchases already. Your bank then goes and checks and sees they are valid and then denies your chargeback request. Scammers then get your $49 x 10,000+ people and you’ve got a huge money scheme happening with companies that I’ve listed in this review.

Now if we go to their letter they sent to my bank from SR TradeSmith you can see at the bottom they listed my purchases from 10/31/2021 and I then cancelled less than 24 hours later when I did realize these guys were all full of you know what. So I cancelled and got letter back on November 1, 2021 from them (all of my proof attached to the review) saying money had been refunded and everything was cancelled. As you can see this is clearly a SCAM!!

Long story short, I got my money back, but only after giving my bank hell. Please report these guys if you’ve been scammed. More we report, the more we can help others! I have tried to purchase 2 different advisory subscriptions from this company. They charged my credit card both times and sent me nothing. After multiple emails and a phone call, I still was unable to get anything from them. Then they just ignored more emails. So I'm having to initiate a chargeback on both. She has structured her salespitch with about 5-7 additional upsells (annoying), so you have to wade through those just to get an online receipt, however no receipt comes to your inbox. Clever scam. Additionally, her sales pitches are almost identical to Brownstone Research, so they all use the same 3rd party to write their sales material and host their very lousy customer service. Beware of the snakes just trying to separate you from your hard earned money.
