I’m an 80-year-old who first learned “coding” in the early 1980s on an Apple II. I taught myself Beginner’s All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code—BASIC. In the evenings, I built a program to swap municipal bonds, followed by another to calculate net interest cost for bidding on primary issues.

Looking back, both programs were incredibly simple—but they took months to complete. After that experience, I made a firm promise to myself: I would never attempt coding again.

Not realizing that GoDaddy sells domain names but doesn’t host apps, I completely misconfigured the DNS settings needed to connect to Netlify. I couldn’t figure out what in hell was wrong.

So I reached out to Rocket.new support—and that’s where they really stood out. They immediately identified the issue, fixed my launch function, and got everything running smoothly.

My wife is happy and I’m impressed.

Rocket has been a solid experience so far. I’ve been using it to build out a food discovery platform focused on local vendors, and what stands out is how quickly you can go from idea to something functional.

The prompting system is straightforward once you get the hang of being specific, and it’s surprisingly capable when it comes to handling UI, logic, and database connections in one flow. It definitely rewards clarity in what you ask for.

What really stood out though is the support. Any time I’ve run into issues or needed clarification, the Rocket team has been responsive and genuinely helpful, which makes a big difference when you’re actively building.

There are still moments where things need a bit of iteration, especially with more complex logic, but overall it’s a huge time saver compared to starting from scratch.

A very good tool to build an application using AI, I was surprised at the results. I am giving a 5 star rating, as I got all the help I need and even when I had to do fix ups on the website and I ended up using credit for this, I was reimbursed on credits and even got a partial refund!

I started with the Free Plan and have since become an enthusiastic Rocket user. Anyone who has an idea for a website or app in mind and wants to bring it to life but doesn’t have the necessary resources or time should check out Rocket New. I’m constantly amazed at how the AI understands me and takes my wishes into account. Even though there are still a few glitches here and there, the potential is incredibly vast, and I’m sure the guys on the development team will iron out those minor kinks.

I have always been interested in the latest ways of growing a business or a brand, and with Rocket being so supportive and helping me Build, Learn & Develop my skills and knowledge of being up to date with the latest technology available, and the AI is so good and understanding about the allocated tasks you give it, one thing i would recommend is to build a CRM as it really helps you keep track of your customers and so many more features that Rocket gives you that makes life more manageable and smooth

The tool checks all the boxes for me. From the very first day I started using it, I’ve been able to build powerful and functional applications, including one of my best projects, Antwerpen Braider. The platform makes it incredibly easy to get started, with a simple layout and pricing that is both accessible and budget-friendly.

Of course, like with any tool, I’ve had moments where I needed help. I’ve reached out to support a few times with questions, and while responses can sometimes take a day or two, they always come through. Even the most basic questions are taken seriously and answered thoroughly, which I really appreciate.

What I enjoy most is the journey. My website itself stands as strong social proof of what’s possible with the platform. In the beginning, it’s easy to get carried away experimenting and spending a bit more than expected, especially with all the excitement around building with prompts. But once you focus your attention on your core business and MVPs, the results become clear and truly rewarding.

Initially, I thought I would build the site and eventually migrate elsewhere. But here I am, one year later, not only still using the platform, but also having developed strong coding skills along the way. I have no plans to leave anytime soon.

Because of the customer support, I give this 5-stars. That you can build what used to take teams of people and thousands of dollars to create is incredible. At times, it almost does too much. There is still quite the learning curve in integrating Stripe and AI. If you back out of something that's been integrated to try again to get what you have in mind, it takes Support to straighten things out. That's not necessarily a Rocket problem, it's the learning curve. Plus, a user doesn't know what to ask as an app building novice. I think the entire system and FAQ section is still evolving which will iron out any clumsiness. Worth a few bucks to play around, takes a few more to finish up a project. But, overall, all I can say is WOW!

WOW, i am a pro AI user since 2018, and I was using lovable but the level of bugs and hallucinations just to get you hooked paying is so annoying , and recently started usign Rocket and also interesting you can edit like webflow what you have built so you dont need to be prompting over and over as someone that likes to build and has not development knowledge , fully recommended

We experimented with multiple GenAI tools like Emergent, Lovable, and Figma-Make to create initial mock drafts for our webpages and landing pages, while these tools are fast, but the outputs lack consistency and uniformity, something that becomes critical for us because me and my team is responsible for building a cohesive brand experience.

Then we tried using rocket, it's been just a few days of using it, we’ve seen a clear difference

The outputs are far more consistent, structured, and aligned across iterations.

It does take slightly longer to generate output compared to other platforms, but the quality and neatness of the output is much better than others...

This AI is very fantastic to generate an application with out coding. Any one who couldn't code to developed mobile apps like me can use this AI. I finished my application with no code. The only thing I comment on this AI is Please modify the fuel it takes in each prompt. I gave 4 for it!

As a veteran Software Engineer, I have seen that the system is well-built and structured. I recommend it for the speed of delivery. The Support and Billing teams are always on alert to respond to the Client's needs.
