Don't bother
The bikes are okay. The hidden shady fees are extremely unprofessional and annoying. I just had £247.5 deducted from my bank account because they put me on a 3 month plan when I asked for a week! Disgusting, they're obviously doing this because they are desperate for money and will stoop to basically rob you of your hard earned money...

I rented a an e-bike two weeks ago monthly, first the prices mentioned on their site is misleading that gives wrong information, they charge you extra for others things when you get the bike which they dont mention earlier. They give you a second hand used old bike when you pay them 170 a month. The bike given to me was in the worst ever condition. Dirty messy full of mud, the chain kept coming off, the battery goes down so quickly and the electric motor stops working when it wants make you pedel with so much efforts. After talking to support and staff, no help at all, the mechanic at shop didn't even bother to ask the faults and just took the bike in for full service just after two weeks of using it which i hardly did because of this absolutely ridiculous bike. Until now no one is replying to my text and no response from mechanics. I paid them for the month but i dont have the bike. They have it.

Terrible rental company
I started a 3 month contract with them on August and they said it would be £160 a month. But avoided mentioning any tax/extra charges that I would have to pay for. It totalled £190. When I checked their site after a month, they reduced the prices dramatically. I wasn't expecting to be able to change my contact but already I felt like I had been finessed. They even tried to overcharge me after my contract ended.
They also failed to mention that you need to book a return before you can return the bike and they will keep charging you after the contract until you do. I was fortunately lucky to be able to get my invoice voided as I returned the bike on the day it ended without booking the return but I can not talk for everyone else.
Also I have had many accidents while riding in the rainy weather as the wheels are not designed to grip on the road during these situations and I've been injured twice slipping on the rainy roads. They obviously won't pay for liability but demand that I pay them on time?

Avoid renting with Zoomo. They are shady about fees, their bikes are not designed for rainy weather and their support is lacking knowledge when it comes to money or subscription issues.

Horrible service in the Edinburgh store never answers the phone which isn’t good because people have questions. Customer service to existing customers is very poor, the staff just don’t care and leave you hanging, communication with bike repairs is just terrible, they always say they will send a text and you never get one, they claim that there are 2 of them and they busy. i don’t think this is an acceptable response, if you can’t mange then you need to hire another person. The staff are in general unprofessional, rude and just unhelpful. When you want to return a bike, there is no appointments for around a week-two weeks to rip people more.

Definitely stay away. I rented a bike to get uber eats delivery from Zoomo cambridge on Wednesday 17th May.
On Friday, May 19, the brakes of the bike broke down and I made an appointment with the Zoomo service for Monday, May 22. I took the bike to the zoomo cambridge branch on monday and the related employees repaired it and delivered the bike in a short time.
I went to the zoomo cambridge branch on Monday, May 29, and delivered the bike with all its parts (key, spare battery, battery, lock and lock extension cable) without any problems, and the person working there accepted the return without any problems and took delivery of the bike.
I received an e-mail on June 3rd that 100 pounds of bond and 85 pounds of damaged were deducted from my deposit due to the fact that I delivered the bike incomplete and damaged.
I said it was a mistake and they should check it out.
Afterwards, I received an e-mail that the rim of the bike was delivered damaged, and I sent an e-mail asking them to prove it because I was sure that I had delivered the bike without any problems.
A few emails later they sent me a photo of a broken rim from another bike and only the rim part was visible.
The date section was cut off in the photograph taken as evidence, so it did not provide evidence, and the bike with the broken rim in the photograph they took was definitely not in a condition to be ridden. On the day I made the return, I drove the bike to the store and delivered it without any problems.
I replied to the e-mail again and wrote that this bike does not belong to me and I asked for a real photo of the bike in full and uncropped history.
I absolutely do not accept this situation and I will complain to the legal authorities.
I delivered the bike the way I received it, this is absolutely nothing but deceiving people.
I will tell everyone around me about this situation so that they stay away from Zoomo.

When I was student and was in struggling phase had a same issue. all the rental company in AUS like Zommo are money minded companies.
I have rented bike from Zommo and was stolen. And Zoomo has the insurance policy as well which I had included. But they refuse to claim insurance saying it was not lock properly.

The prices doesn't include the VAT in UK, so when signing a contract keep that in mind because they'll not say it. Can be in the contract, I've asked for a copy but even if this is my fault for not paying the right attention I feel mislead and betrayed because it doesn't say in their website nothing about this.
When rasing the matter with support, when I mentioned that if it keeps this way I would terminate the agreement, Hazel just asked when I wanted to return the bike, she didn't even addressed the matter, which I believe it wouldn't be the right way to deliver proper customer service.
