Ride Expeditions Ltd Omdömen 

I recently did the African Crusader ride with Toby and Anna. It was a fantastic experience and I loved the fact that every day was so different and obviously a lot of thought had gone into making this adventure ride unique, with out of the way and historic accommodation choices and even a night in a cave complete with a Leopard sighted in the hills to add a frisson of excitement to the evening! I would highly recommend Toby and Anna's Ride expeditions to anybody who is looking for a real adventure ride.

Have done two tours with Toby and the crew, Himalayan Heghts and the recce Spiti Tour, and am about to head out a on a third. Why do I keep going back? Simply because RE is a great company that cares about its clients. Have ridden with other guides that are also good in other countries, but know that when I go with RE I'm gong to be on quality bikes, there will be a mechanic along with us, a qualified doctor , and that Toby will have checked out some places that many other tours simply don't know about or go to (like the ride up to the highest village and post office in the world on the last Spiti trip) and that the riding is going to be breath taking. RE is great because they do everything at such a high level. Blasting across the plains of the Himalayas with a group of bikers, surrounded by scenery that has every superlative attached to it (think stunning) and riding some of the toughest roads there are, knowing that there is all the support there and that I am going to have a huge amount of fun, well that is always a good reason to give the time and $ to check those things off the bucket list. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Brilliant operation. Completely committed to creating a great experience for their customer riders, really well organised, great to deal with, good fun and good company to travel with too. The Himalaya trip I did was amazing and required a bit of endurance. But well paced, sensible precautions taken and very well supported and backed up. Would not hesitate to travel with them again.

The promotional material on-line was very informative and communication with the company was easy and helped make the process very simple. One of the important considerations for me was the nature of the back-up while on the tour: having a doctor, a paramedic and a team of mechanics in attendance was reassuring and helped ensure all eventualities were covered. The riding was different from any road riding in Britain, but eye-opening, enjoyable, challenging and exciting in equal measure. Staff were always on hand to ensure things were running smoothly and each day the bikes were lined up, checked, fuelled and ready to go as soon as we had finished breakfast. We got in a lot of riding but also had time to see some of the local attractions and of course, to admire the fantastic landscapes. It was a great well-planned and supported two weeks in a beautiful part of the world.

Me and a group of friends joined Toby and his team in Cambodia for a 7 day ride over the Cardamom Mountakns. From the moment we made contact over email until the end of the trip, the service of this company could not be faulted!

Heaps of pre-tour info & support (with a personal phone call from Toby the week before the start of the tour to clarify details of arrival), the bikes were in great condition and never missed a beat, the local staff were all highly experienced and professional, the accommodation was good.

And the riding? Well, that was just awesome. Such a great variety of trails from Siem Reap down to Sihanoukville. Toby took great care of us, setting a pace that was suited to our skills and always talking to us and giving us different options. Just perfect.
