I attempted to purchase a Tesla Model 3. After confirming availability by phone, I was told I could proceed with the purchase. Reverie Autos then provided their bank details, and I made a bank transfer payment of more than £21,000 based on that confirmation.

After they confirmed receipt of my payment, they issued me a formal invoice for the specific vehicle, including the registration number and VIN.

I later followed up to ask when the car would be ready for collection. Only then was I told that the vehicle had already been sold to another customer. Until I chased them, I had not been informed that the car was no longer available, despite them having accepted my payment and issued a formal invoice.

This was not just an inconvenience. It caused me actual cost, disruption and loss of opportunity, including insurance arrangements, moving funds to make the payment, time wasted, and losing the opportunity to proceed with another suitable vehicle. These issues were caused by their mistake, but I was the one left to deal with the consequences.

In my view, accepting a large payment, issuing a formal invoice, and then being unable to supply the vehicle is a serious failure in their sales process. It also appears to be a failure to fulfil the agreed sale.

I got a great spec’d car with low mileage, paperwork and great customer care and follow ups. I’ll stay in contact with him and will definitely use him for our next purchase.

I recently bought a BMW from Reverie Autos and had a really great experience. I was looked after by Ahmed, who was extremely patient and helpful, especially as I was quite indecisive at first. He answered all my questions thoroughly and made the whole process easy and stress-free.

Very positive and clear attitude during the sale and making sure the vehicle was processed at earlier date to suit myself as picking up from 2 hours away.

From calling on the saturday to fund and deliver to me the dream car I had found, it got delivered the following Friday!

I’ve just bought a BMW 1 Series from REVERIE Autos and the whole experience has been outstanding from start to finish. I originally reserved a different car, but during their inspection they found two major issues and immediately told me they wouldn’t feel right selling it. That level of honesty and integrity is rare these days, and it gave me full confidence that I was dealing with a trustworthy dealership.

I then chose a BMW 1 Series which I absolutely love, and without me even asking, they carried out a full service on it the day before delivery. The communication throughout has been brilliant — friendly, clear, and always keeping me updated.

The car was delivered to my apartment yesterday, and although there was a minor issue with the V5C (it was an older logbook so I couldn’t tax the car), they sorted it straight away with no hassle at all. Again, excellent customer service.
