What can I say? There are not many websites like this one anywhere I can think of, and I've been digital since 1999. Retrospect is just brilliant, simple and effective. You advertise your car for free and wait for those interested to get in touch. No brainer. And if you've got any questions or suggestions, Daras comes back very quickly with all the advice on a plate. Our car took a while to sell, due to its ageing condition. But Daras was always there to help out. Top man!!!👍🏻🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Shipping was slow
Shipping was slow. Mirror trim took me hours to fit. I wish I was being dramatic. Many attempts. I even looked up how much a whole unit would be instead. Cut myself on the mirror glass. I will NEVER fit another one.

I'm sorry you had problems with fitting my MirrorCool surround trim. Full instructions were supplied, including a link to fitting videos and an invitation to contact me if you need any assistance.
I have sold a few thousand of the type you bought and the only reason that they will not fit is either when instruction no4 has not been followed or if the wrong kit has been ordered for the type of mirror.
You didn't order a glass from me but you have mentioned that you cut yourself on the glass.
The instructions do specifically warn about possible sharp edges. However, when fitting as per the instructions, there is no exposed edge to the glass: it is entirely covered within the protection of the silicone surround trim.
I'm sorry that you felt the shipping time was slow but you did choose the slowest (& cheapest) option and your order was delivered within the stated timescale for the option you selected.
Despite the problems you have had, I hope you're happy with the end result, now that, for £6.65 plus postage, your original 2cv mirror looks like new again.
