After providing feedback, ResumeZest reached out and offered to assign a new resume writer. The second writer was fabulous.

I cannot recommend this company. The experience started strong as I got a first draft of my resume quickly but it went downhill from there. I had saved my phone call until the revision process. When I went to schedule my call after reviewing the draft, my writer did not have any availability until 8 days later. She did offer additional times but called me almost 90 minutes after the agreed upon time. When we were finally able to connect, it was clear that she had not reviewed the feedback I had provided and did not understand my industry. When reviewing the next draft, it was clear she did not pay attention to our discussion, so I provided an additional list of detailed feedback. After a multiple day wait to get the third draft, it was clear she didn't want to take the time to understand what I was saying and took the easy way out.

A few years ago I had experience with another company that offered the same type of service, but my experience with ResumeZest was fantastic. If you are looking for a professional approach and at the same time friendly and pleasant people who will help you prepare the necessary papers for finding a new job, then this is the right company for you. Emily Ellis who was responsible for preparing my papers was fantastic. Emily is responsive, flexible, an excellent listener and above all extremely experienced in how to translate your experience into a resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile. I would highly recommend Emily as your companion on this journey.

I compared this company to other companies before deciding to pay for their services. The reviews were all superb and the process was described by others as easy and fast. The customer service lauded. Because of those reasons I did not hesitate to drop over $400 for a resume and cover letter to be crafted. The company guarantees a 3-5 day turnaround from the day you have your 30 minute consultation. Today makes 11 business days since my 30 minute consultation. I have not heard back from my assigned writer in over a week. I have not received final documents. I emailed help desk two days ago and no one has responded to me.

I am a teacher with a son in college. $400 is not light change in my household. I spent it without hesitation. I provided my documents immediately. I showed up for the call and provided feedback. I took my grievance to the help desk. Now I want a full refund. I did my part. Unfortunately ResumeZest did not come though for me.

UPDATE: only AFTER this review and my second attempt to contact customer service with a request of full refund for their poor service did I receive an email from this company. However, they did not contact me to apologize. They emailed me to insult my intelligence. When I responded that their customer service leaves much to be desired and that their response should have been a phone call, a woman named Julie called me to further insult my intelligence with lies. Their customer service is all around garbage. Then after all of that, my writer Allison finally delivered my final documents. And as if that is not enough, they attempted to have this review taken down by telling Trustpilot that I am not a real customer. This company has NO integrity, NO sense of customer service. I paid them over $400 to be treated like trash. Thanks ResumeZest!

Professional and efficient process with Shelly. End product reflected the goals and content that was desired. Portal made it easy to collaborate and keep the process moving. Tools, templates and guidelines for linked in, letters etc easy to use with clear instructions.

Based on my own experience with the service, I can say that the overall experience was largely positive. The staff was friendly and professional, and the product delivered was as expected.
