Very disappointing experience with this company, we provided transportation service to this company and everything was done perfectly as per the requirement, we sent them the invoice and it’s overdue for more than 4 months, we are chasing for the payment and it’s still not recieved,never bothered to pick up phone and text us with different execuses every time and never ending lies, finally had to handover the case to the legal team to look after them😡😡

Avoid the company if you like your peace of mind for multiple reasons. First one. No answers on the phone whatsoever. I have ordered a chair on 10th of August. The website promises 1-3 day delivery within UK. No confirmation whatsoever. After 3 days spoke to them via chat bot. Been told that there was issue with packaging and that the chair will be sent on Monday and come by on Wednesday. On Thursday I had no chair so decided to write again. Asked for order to be cancelled and refund of the money since they are not able to deliver neither inform about what is going on. Been told that the refund has been issued and I'll get money latest by 10 working days. 10 days go by and I have not received anything. Wrote them again and said that's a final warning before I go to citizen advice and report them as fraud company. This was last Friday. I have received email that refund been issued. Today is Monday and still nothing. Got a email transcript of the conversation whatsoever. I understand that sometimes things does not go well for whatever reason. I am a patient man. Please if u are not able to deliver what you promise then simply stop offering your services or be honest about what you can do. I am not the first bad review on this company. Unfortunately haven't seen trustpilot before I bought one. Hopefully I'll get my money back.
If you have some decency stay away from this company as far as you can.

Avoid - I don't like to give negative reviews, as I think it's hard enough for businesses in the UK right now. But I placed and order. They took the payment. Then nothing. No order confirmation, no email, no shipping information etc. So I try and call a week later, no answer, just hitting a voicemail inbox. So I try emailing, and all the emails start bouncing back undelivered. So I've had to take all this evidence to my bank/card provider and request a chargeback.

Chair arrived 2 weeks later than advertised, dirty, and with it's arm snapped off.

I'm pretty sure the company is just one guy and he started actively avoiding my repeated calls, messages and ignored my emails. He did this for the entire 3 weeks that the the chair hadn't arrived when it was meant to, and then after it arrived broken.

So late delivery, broken product, and as bad customer service as he can give without breaking the law (that might even be debatable).

I didn't look at any reviews before buying (apart from the ones he shows on the website) so you're already doing better than me. If had my time again, I would have gone on Gumtree or Facebook marketplace or something.

I would upload photos if I could. The chair that arrived was broken and dirty. I suspect this lot just collect from liquidated businesses, package and send out and its random whether you get something half decent or absolute rubbish. I got rubbish. Their refunds email address doesnt work, they dont respond to emails or answer the phone - as per other reviews on here. Please dont use them, im trying to get my money back, its essentially a scam.

Purchased a Humanscale: Freedom Task Chair, it's been over 6 days since my order, and no tracking information or communication. They have not responded to my emails despite calling numerous times, this is extremely poor customer service and an extremely tedious process. I'm hoping they can fix this issue imminently. The chair is extremely expensive.

So I don’t normally write reviews ever but I ordered a chair weeks ago from this site and it came defective with missing screws causing parts of the chair to fall off. I contacted ROF and was told I could return the chair for a refund. What then proceeded was the most exasperating experience with customer service i’ve ever dealt with. First of all the amount of times you get completely ignored is egregious. I’ve sent multiple emails and yet to receive A SINGLE response. The only times i’ve gotten a response was via the live chat service and every single time it’s been abysmally tedious. The site says a response within minutes but for me it usually takes HOURS of keeping the chat open so you don’t disconnect and regularly sending messages to hope someone responds. After doing this begging campaign for weeks I either got completely ignored or a promise that repeatedly amounted to nothing. I kept getting told “I’ll send the return label tomorrow” or “i’ll send an email on monday” or “email this address we’ll sort it out” and every single time, no cigar. One time a pickup driver actually came to my door but as you could guess I hadn’t been sent the return label so he turned the parcel away which completely enraged me. I then contacted back and was told they’re sorry and to email an address which I did and got ZERO reply. Currently it’s been over 4 weeks of this and I’m now just getting totally ignored, not had a single reply for like a week. I cannot order a new chair untill this defective one gets returned. Absolutely ridiculous and the most stressful experience i’ve had with an online purchase that’s costed me a fortune that is still ongoing for a resolution.

I ordered three Steelcase Please 2 chairs from Resale Office Furniture (ROF). Only one chair was delivered initially. When I challenged this, they said it was an internal error and later sent the remaining two chairs via a courier.
However, one of the chairs arrived with a missing caster, making it unusable.
Over the following three weeks, I sent six emails to every contact address listed on their website, simply asking for a replacement caster. I received no reply at all.
I also tried calling their published phone number six times during business hours and left messages. No one answered and no one returned any of my calls.
At this point, I’ve had:
• A part missing product
• Zero response to multiple emails
• Zero response to multiple phone calls
• No attempt to resolve a very simple issue
Based on my experience, I strongly suggest avoiding Resale Office Furniture (ROF). Their customer service has been extremely poor, and they have not provided even basic after sales support for a straightforward problem.

I ordered a 'refurbished' desk chair on 03/06/2026.

The chair was delivered on 09/06/2026 and initially appeared to be in good condition. After using it for a few days, I realised it is faulty because the chair constantly sinks from the height I set it to.

The item was advertised as refurbished and I expected it to be fully functional.

I contacted ROF on 17/06/2026 to report the issue. They offered an exchange, but I requested a return and refund instead. At that point I had owned the product for less than 14 days from delivery and believed I was within their return policy.
I have since sent two further emails and have not received a response.

Communication is dreadful! My order never arrived despite spending over £5K in March and we are in May with no items or communication. No one picks up the phone or emails back! AVOID AT ALL COST

Terrible service. The chair arrived broken, and I received no response at all from the company, despite emailing and calling. I had to contact my bank for a refund. Very disappointing.

Order placed 20Feb, chair received made very loud squeaking and clicking noises(indicates not checked before being sent out). Contacted them immediately and problem was not able to be fixed so agreed an exchange.

Chair was not collected as agreed and had to contact them several times before this could be arranged. The delivery of the replacement, despite being assured it had been processed never happened, weeks of chasing and finally received courier confirmation it had been processed.

Chair did not arrive on stated date, fedex confirmed item had been lost.

Over 50 calls and lots of chats trying to get in touch with ROFuk to get the issue resolved and still after over a month I have not received a refund despite being promised it had been done.

Absolute bargain - got a Steelcase Please for roughly 1/5th the cost of a new one, arrived in less than a week. Nearly gave 4 stars as their automated systems aren't the best: never got a confirmation email of my purchase so had to call them to make sure the order had gone through. The guy I spoke to on the phone though was very nice though and the Fedex tracking number came through the next day.

Had some initial trouble with shipping but after chatting to their customer service, the director, Aidan, got involved. He resolved my issue and was very hands on throughout the shipping process, ensuring it arrived in good condition and on time. He even offered a partial refund for my trouble. Chair arrived in great condition, happy with the quality. Would order through them again.

In February 2025, I bought a Hermann Miller Mirra chair from Resale Officer Furniture - the chair was in good condition, though the seat pan had been torn previously and repaired. In February 2026, the seat pan tore, I tried calling them, texting them and emailing them, either never receiving a reply and only getting a reply when I called them. I was informed that I would get a free seat pan, as the actual fabric is not covered under warranty, though they never followed up or got back to me, and said they couldn't refund me or replace my chair. I tried to replace the seat pan myself, but the screws on the chair are tight and are ruined because of the threat, meaning that I cannot remove the pan, and the chair is useless. I do not recommend buying a chair from them as it is a complete gamble.

I placed an order for a chair and received a confirmation email but no information about delivery of said chair. I then tried calling their number, no response, I had a brief conversation with their chatbot asking for the delivery number then no response.

Edit: Since writing the earlier review, the MD got in touch with me. He apologised for the comms issues and I also got the chair delivered and it is great! I have subsequently seen other reviews where others have experienced the same thing. I would definitely use and recommend them to others, however I hope they improve comms as it otherwise spoils great customer service.

Initially, I experienced poor communication from the business after I placed my order, but after they read my review about the experience I had, they quickly reached out. They admitted their shortcomings and recognised that the product description on their website was inaccurate. They then found a new chair for me that matched the online specifications and kept me updated throughout the process. The chair arrived in great condition, all its features work properly, and I found it to be great value for money.

Excellent Customer service

I have issues with my back so they really went out of there way to try and fine me a chair that suits me, always very polite and friendly, would use them again.

UPDATE - Director got involved in this as he saw my review and was unhappy about how I was treated. Refunded me and sent a free chair which he recommended and it’s really comfy. Thanks for all your help in this situation, it’s nice to see you haven’t been fobbed off.

Ordered a chair and kept getting fibbed off about delivery times. Then told the chair was faulty after chasing 3 times. Told me I would get a refund, not received it. Now having to try and claim back through PayPal as no refund has arrived. Think it’s a big scam site.

First time using ROF and I'm delighted. There was a small delay in delivery, probably due to Christmas. We contacted Aidan and he kept us informed. Today we received a well packaged Vitra chair at a really good price and no assembly required. The chair is a huge step up in comfort from my previous one from a well known furniture supplier.
