Misleading and insecure data. DO NOT SHARE YOUR INFORMATION!

(INSECURE DATA!!! DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION!!!)
They have very friendly customer service reps that say all the right things and make you feel like they have your best interest at heart. They gathered my "needed" information to do a soft credit lookup to see what loans they could offer. They came up with a credit score 100 points lower than anything I can find and offered me a loan from SoFi at 18.5% or their debt payment plan. What they don't explain up front is their plan is a debt cancellation program where they cancel your credit card, negotiate a settlement then set you up to repay them for the lower amount plus their "maintenance" fees. Not what I was looking for to do debt consolidation.
BIGGEST PROBLEM, MY INFO WAS LEAKED!!! When I verified my Experian report I found my credit score more than 100 points higher than they claim. No big deal. However I got a bunch on notifications that my Social and other personal information was shared on the Dark Web. The date my data was found... the exact date I shared my information with Republic First Financial. Coincidence? I think NOT!!!

Shady Practices

Shady. Pre-approved offer but it's bogus since it has a range for the amount. Enter the prided code on the site and they don't show you options, rates or terms. They want to call you. Avoid, likely a scam or predatory lender.

False Claims, Lies

I’ll start with the icing on the cake. Republic First Funding claims on their website to be “rated ‘Great’ on TrustPilot.” This is an obvious lie, since (until mine) they had zero reviews on TrustPilot and had the standard average 3.5 rating assigned by TrustPiilot as a baseline score. Received a “pre approved personal loan” letter in the mail. Info in the letter featured “too good to be true” rates, which contradicted themselves within the letter and also contradicted info on their website. Very difficult to find any info about the company online such as even a single review anywhere. Interestingly, there was quite a bit of info on a couple of other financial institutions with similar names. Perhaps they hoped we’d see the great rating on TrustPilot for First Republic Bank (A completely separate entity.) and believe mistakenly, that to be connected to Republic First Funding?
