This company is a total sham. They advertised Peter Thomas Roth Easy-Wear Formula Firm Eye temporary eye tightener, but delivered a completely fake product whose packaging is practically identical. They even used a video that mirrored the one Peter Thomas Roth uses to advertise. When I emailed customer service, they asked me to send them photos of the unopened product and the shipping label (which was from Jamaica). I did so, and then they asked me if I'd used their product correctly. I told them I DIDN'T WANT their sham of a product. I wanted to return it and get a refund. And then, radio silence. I'm reporting them to the BBB too.

DON’T order skin care from RENU COSMETICS online, If you order skin care they will send the fake products to you and there is no refund. I filed a complaint with the credit card center and the controversy surrounding this deal. I finally got a refund.

The eye serum is worthless! I, like others ,got scammed by this company! I went on to Peter Thomas Roth and it took me to Renu. The box looks identical to PTR. I’ve asked for my money back. They just keep asking for my order number and a picture of my eyes. Do not get fooled by this company!!!!

SCAM! It’s been almost a month since I placed an order for one of their product, I’m still waiting….apparently it’s stuck in customs🙄 it’s not a good shopping experience, I won’t recommend.

This company advertised Peter Thomas Roth eye serum and delivered a generic version. When I contacted customer service I was told a refund cannot be issued since it was part of a BOGO promo. Even though they sent me the wrong product. HUGE SCAM and I see why they have a 1 star review rating! They should be out of business for scamming people!

I wish I could give no stars. I purchased Peter Thomas Roth eye bag tightener and this fraudulent company pulled a “bait and switch” and sent Barubut firm eye skin! I tried to cancel the order before it was sent, but was told it was being processed. They will not honor their money back guarantee because it was a “buy one, get one” offer. I will report this to my state attorney general.

I too, like others tried to purchase the Thomas Roth product and received Barubt, whatever generic brand that may be,which is not what I ordered. They have stalled for 3 days. Today telling me it was BOGO.
I have the picture of what was ordered and they sent something else purposely and have a no refund on BOGO, is this not fraud? I think that is called, bait and switch. These people need taken out of business. This package took 2 weeks,came from China, then had an Illinois label slapped over it. This Company is not accidentally sending the wrong product, it is fraud and they need to be accountable for their actions. 1 star was the lowest that I could give this Company, which is to much to give them.

I ordered Perfection by Thomas Roth and received Temporary Eye Tightener by Barubt under the 2 for 1 offer. Same story as other reviews.
Their policy - no refunds on 2 for 1 - even though the WRONG product was sent. Is this not considered false advertising? I refuse to let this drop. Very very unhappy customer. BTW the product received did not work!!

I would rate this company zero stars if I could. They use deceptive advertising and offer a "Love it or your money back" guarantee. It's all a lie. They sent a different product and told me to try it. I did and it did not work. They refuse to give me my money back. Please DO NOT DO business with this company!!!!!!!!

Same as others have reported. Sent an inferior product and refuse to refund or replace.

The old bait and switch advertising which is sooo deceptive. I requested a refund but no response. Facebook should remove their adds before more people get duped.

My story is the same as the others. It was advertised as Peter Thomas Roth and it is not what was advertised. Facebook/ Instagram will not take the ads down. I'm at a loss that people can just do this and get away with it. Because it is BOGO they won't refund their fake product anyways. Why would you put something on your face that is not what you ordered?!

I ordered the product that was advertised on the website but I was sent an inferior product instead - not Thomas Roth but Barubt which is sold on SHEIN and Temu for $5-$7. I have one message - Buyer Beware.

TERRIBLE COMPANY! I’ve tried dozens of times to get someone to contact me back to provide instructions on how to return my order. The product does not work at all!
Their site promises money back guarantee and full refund if within a time frame but they don’t let you return because there’s no way to get ahold of anyone! Their contact email is fake!

Since purchasing the products, 2 Peter Thomas Roth Instant Firm Eye New Formulas, I've found numerous negative reviews about this company and the products it sells. Since then, I've been trying to cancel the order to no avail. I exchanged several emails with Kaye D., Renu, Customer Support, who only replied that, from that moment on, the order can no longer be canceled. But the shipment hasn't been picked up by the carrier yet; it's just being processed. I'm afraid that not only will I not be able to cancel, but I'll also receive counterfeit products late.

Why can’t we give 0 or negative star for this company? Same experience as other consumers, ordered falsely advertised PTR but only to receive counterfeits! They used the same excuse on me saying because of the buy 1 get 1 free promotion, in T&C, not eligible for refunds. Complete BS! If only they have sent the actual products of what we purchased for. The products they sent, other websites were charging half of what we paid for. They have falsely advertised and misleading the consumers. They are advertising falsely, operating with dishonest, what they are doing is disgraceful. I wish I have read these reviews earlier before falling into their scamming trap. I wish they can be reported and not allowed to operate in Australia so that they can’t take next victim’s hard earned money… shame on them!!!

Actually “0” stars!!! Liars,liars,liars! They advertise Peter Thomas Roth product but you will receive no name brand that doesn’t work. I’ve been emailing with the customer service and they are trying to blame it on me that I have no ideea how to use the product and this is the issue. They just don’t want to refund and take their garbage back! RENU cosmetics = LIARS/JERKS!

As other reviews here I expected to receive Thomas Roth eye tightener cream ,but received an unbranded product, they told me as others that it was the same and because I had bought on a buy one get one free offer I could not get a refund. I have been back and forth umpteen times via email and they have been telling me how to apply , NOTHING works do not be duped in to buying this product. What you see on videos etc 100% does not work.
