Shpati rental cancelled our…
Shpati rental cancelled our reservavtion the day before our arrival, by phone of course, not on the website. They then offered a lesser car for the same price. It was far from the car we originally ordered. After only the few hours of driving, that car started having many problems and we had to change it... Still for a different car than the one we ordered. That car also had a mechanical issue (engine safety mode activation) but we managed to deal with it.... Would have given only 1 star, though I'm glad they were at least responsive and trying to offer other options when our whole vacation could have gone to shit.

Worse car, no refund
Ford instead Mercedes, manual instead automat, key almost in two pieces, lot od scratches, same price = no discount.
Plus employee wasnt able to seat a babyseat.
At the end of the day everything worked and we had a car to do our trip, just not the way it should.

Great Experience from Start to Finish
We were genuinely impressed and can highly recommend this car rental company. From start to finish, everything was smooth and professional. We always received quick responses whenever we had questions, were warmly welcomed when picking up the car, and the return process was just as easy. We especially appreciated that, after returning the car, they kindly offered to drive us to the airport.
The entire experience – communication, pick-up, return, and overall service – was excellent. We actually chose this company because it was recommended to us by an AI as a trustworthy rental company, and after our experience, we can fully confirm that recommendation. Thank you for the outstanding service – we would definitely rent a car here again!

La mia esperienza è stata ottima
La mia esperienza è stata ottima, l'auto da noi nolleggiata, scelta tra le auto con immatricolazione con non più di 5 anni, era perfetta, unico neo, la spia della pressione delle gomme, che comunque non ha influito sul normale uso del veicolo. Personale disponibilisimo. Al nostro arrivo in aereoporto, trovare il box receptionist di "rent from local" non è stato facilissimo, in quanto il box era quello di "goldencar". Poco chiaro, alla riconsegna, è il livello della benzina, che non è stato pieno per pieno, ma la vettura dev'essere riconsegnata con lo stesso livello nel serbatoio, quindi praticamente impossibile da valutare, se non con una foto al ritiro ed una trattativa al rientro. Comunque, tutto sommato esperienza perfetta.

Hello Anthony. Note that you have purchased insurance from our partner Sigal Insurance Group, which is independent from the owner. In order to activate that insurance, it is neccesary that you upload in the website pictures of the car at pickup, and also pictures of the car after the damage occurred. You get notifications about that via email and whatsapp before the rental begins. We see that you have not uploaded any pictures, as a result the owner cannot reclaim any damage from Sigal. The car was not suitable for the Albanian roads which almost all are mountainous. I wish the company would give advice to the clients not to rent this car to the specific routes. It was hell to go to Himare, because the car could go only 30-40 km/h to the hill. We didnt know that almost all roads are steep.Also, company asked additional money for the car cleaning - we used a lot of rental cars in different countries, but we have never paid additionally for the cleaning.

Regarding the vehicle, choosing a car suitable for your itinerary is normally the responsibility of the renter. The rental provider can certainly give advice if asked, but there is generally no expectation for them to proactively recommend a different vehicle based on your travel plans. Many travelers rent small economy cars and drive throughout Albania without issues, although mountain roads can naturally be slower to climb with lower-powered vehicles.
Regarding the cleaning fee, this is also a common practice in Albania. Many local rental providers ask customers to return the vehicle in approximately the same condition as it was received. Since these are mostly local companies offering very competitive prices, cleaning fees may apply if the car is returned significantly dirtier than at pickup.

Horrible! No entienden el inglés.
Nos dejaron un coche completamente roto nada que ver con la foto. Pedimos cambio pagando diferencia de dinero y nos dijeron que no era posible.
Tenía un retrovisor con celo, el del medio del coche estaba arrancado, le marcaba fallo motor, habían cinturones que no iban, se le descolgaban los parachoques....
Cogimos sillita de seguridad para el pequeño de 2 años que no cumplía ningún requisito, no se podía montar y se habría en dos por lo que se iba desmontando, no se podía poner el cinturón porque no llevaba los anclajes para pasarlos por detrás y teníamos que ponerle por delante como un niño de 5 años y estaba llena de comida enganchada por todas partes y tuve que hacer un esfuerzo enorme para poner a mi pequeño ahí.
Pagué solo un poco menos que en otros lados y me dieron las vacaciones.
Ojalá y le cierren este sitio porque pone en riesgo la vida de las personas.
