We went for renting via Rent from…
We went for renting via Rent from Locals because we wanted to be able to drive off road and also an automatic transmission for easy driving. It’s a great platform with a lot of different cars to choose from. We went for a car with full insurance for a peace of mind during a 2 week trip trough all of Albania. All communication went good and questions were answered quick. Would really recommend this company/platform.

I was extremely impressed with the warm welcome and outstanding service provided by Lakir at Tirana Airport.
I had booked to collect the car at 3:00 a.m., but Lakir checked my flight arrival time and kindly brought the car to us at 2:00 a.m. The vehicle was in immaculate condition and ready for us, making our arrival completely stress-free.
I have immense respect for Lakir's professionalism, dedication, and excellent customer service. If I could give more than five stars, he truly deserves 10 stars.
I highly recommend Lakir to anyone visiting Albania, whether for business or a holiday. You can expect exceptional service, reliability, and a truly welcoming experience.

Très bonne expérience
Très bonne expérience.
Le véhicule de départ un Ford Kuga a été remplacé par un tiguan récent toutes options à notre arrivée. Prise en main rapide, pas d'empreinte ni de caution en ayant souscrit l'assurance full option. On choisira à nouveau Amarildo.

Booking.com for rental cars
I originally thought this was like Airbnb for cars, but it’s actually more like Booking.com for cars. It’s connecting you with local rental agencies - not individuals sharing their personal cars. So it ended up Being very professional and organized. A local agency delivered a nice BMW (high miles but great condition) to our hotel and picked it up at the airport. We paid for full insurance but didn’t need it

I would not recommend this rental…
I would not recommend this rental company. The cars they offer are in very poor condition, which can easily ruin your trip. Instead of enjoying your holiday, you end up constantly worrying about whether the car will break down or leave you stranded. Renting a car should make travelling easier and more enjoyable, not add unnecessary stress and uncertainty to your vacation.

Die Kommunikation war sehr gut
Die Kommunikation war sehr gut. Sie waren sehr nett und freundlich. Ich fand es nicht gut das wir nicht das Auto was wir ausgesucht hatten bekommen hatten. Statt Schaltung bekamen wir Automatik und was sehr störend war war das die Klimaanlage nur etwas kalt wurde. Die Leistung war nicht mehr 100%. Aber sonst war alles ok.

Very bad experience and a huge disappointment
We were given a completely different car from the one we had booked, without any prior notice. The car was from 2007, in very poor condition, and several warning lights kept appearing. The fuel gauge did not work, which made every trip stressful because we never knew how much fuel was left.
When I raised these issues with the person in charge, he was rude and did not even apologize. Very disappointing experience.

À la base j’avais réservé une golf 5. Après acceptation de la réservation il me dit qu’elle est déjà attribuée et me propose une golf 4 avec une réduction de 5€.
Lors de la réception mR n’est pas là il a envoyé un de ses « amis ». La voiture est propre mais complètement abîmée de partout (intérieur et extérieur).
Au fur et à mesure du temps nous nous rendons compte de l’état déplorable.
Au bout du 3eme jour la voiture ne démarre plus. On doit se débrouiller mR ne fait rien pour nous aider!!!!
A la restitution de la voiture mR n’est tjs pas venu il nous envoi encore un de ses amis ne parlant pas anglais.
En faisant le tour il trouve une rayure qui soi disant n’y était pas. Au téléphone il refuse de me redonner la caution et me menace même de me demander plus.
Dialogue impossible. Surtout par téléphone.
Je ne le recommande pas du tout. C’est un voleur!!!!
