Europcar is not prepared to help affected customer.

We rented a car in Rwanda via Booking.com to drive ourselves through 4 countries (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda) for 4 weeks with Europcar Rwanda. According to the Europcar delivery conditions, which we received from Booking, this was no problem. To be sure, we called a Europcar employee in Rwanda to double check. This was no problem.
When we arrived in Rwanda it was a problem and the entire trip suddenly could not go ahead, because all accommodation had already been booked for the entire month per day. Europcar Rwanda stated that these were not the good delivery conditions that we had received through Booking and the employee we spoke to, should never have said that this was not a problem and was fired on the spot.
This way we rented a car for 30 days that we could only use for the first 4 days, only in Rwanda and then returned. However, we had to pay the full amount for 30 days.
Fortunately, we were finally able to rent a car through a Uganda car rental company that fit our tour in 4 countries.
The Europcar head office in France, where we filed our complaint, also did nothing for us. Europcar Kigali is unreliable and anything but solution-oriented, and let us pay full period of 30 days...
