I had a very positive experience with RentADrive. Communication was clear, the car was in great condition, and the whole process was smooth and professional.

What really stood out was how fair and customer-oriented the team handled a minor issue at the end of the rental. Very transparent, respectful, and solution-driven exactly how it should be. Good to know that there are still fair Rent Services!

I can genuinely recommend RentADrive and will definitely rent from them again.

We had a very bad experience with this car rental company in Madeira and we do not recommend them.

I booked a car online for 110€, which was clearly shown on their website. However, when I arrived, the final price suddenly increased to 180€, without any clear or transparent explanation of the extra charges. They were unable or unwilling to clearly explain what these “taxes” were.

On top of that, they demanded a 1500€ deposit, or alternatively forced us to buy an extra insurance for 20€ per day, which we paid. Even after that, the price kept increasing.

When we went to pick up the car, they asked for another 150€ “commission/deposit”, saying that “some of the money you will receive back if everything is fine”. This was never clearly stated during the booking process and felt extremely misleading.

At that point, the price had gone from 110€ to 180€ + additional charges, which is unacceptable. We firmly refused to pay and asked either to receive the car for the agreed price or to get a full refund.

This business uses hidden fees, pressure tactics, and unclear explanations. It felt like they were constantly trying to take more money out of our pockets.

Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. Be careful and read everything twice before booking — or better, choose another company.

Vi fik udleveret bil i lufthavnen ud fra dialog på Whatsapp, der er ingen fysisk kontor, men det virker helt uden problemer. Det samme med aflevering. Vil helt sikkert bruge selskabet igen. I’ve found this agency via ChatGPT and I’m happy to say that was definitely right choose. Car was a new (31kkm), in good condition and Nino and Rodrigo were kind and friendly. Car was arranged on time and picked up from hotel. I’m strongly recommend this company as a sustainable service. No need a credit card or deposit, just be sured that full insurance is covered.

Great company, were given a very clean seat Ibiza, a little underpowered for the hills of Madeira but otherwise fine. They found us at the airport and we delivered it back at the airport. No issues with the staff, very friendly and helpful. we paid a bit more and had full insurance cover fortunately a Madeira driver found the corner of the bumper while it was parked. No deposit or credit card required, highly recommended

I love that they waited patiently for me while my flight was delayed to make sure I had a car when I arrived in Madeira. It's like family.
