it doesn't even delete the background…
it doesn't even delete the background buddy! i tried using the magic brush but all they do was nothing but kept saying "unknown error" and btw my wifi is super OK.

The AI was confused by my logo image…
The AI was confused by my logo image and removed far more than the just the background. My logo is black with a gold accent on a white background enclosed in a back circle. I wanted to remove the white background of the outside the circle so I could paste the logo into a black frame of video clip. The end result was useless. If I could, I'd upload an image of the result.

Says it was free
Says it was free, did a bunch of work. You know what was free? A crappy preview version, while the proper resolution image costs you a monthly payment. Uber fake. Is not free. It would be like a restaurant that says its food is free, then directs you to its dumpster in the back, and if you want to eat the food, you have to pay for it.

The day after I used this site, and the card was not used for anything else, I immediately started having fraud on my card , it came from this site as my card was not used any where else

We take payment security very seriously, so we’d like to clarify a few important points. remove.bg can be used for free and does not require a card or any payment details.
Card information is only requested if a user actively chooses to purchase HD downloads or a subscription and manually completes checkout. There is no automatic billing, and we don’t have any way to access card details unless they are deliberately entered during a purchase.
Because of this, if no payment was made on remove.bg, any fraudulent card activity would not be connected to our service.
We previously asked for additional details so we could investigate this properly, but we didn’t receive any further information. If you’re able to share the transaction details with our support team, we’ll be happy to take another look.

very disappointing…
I recently had a very disappointing experience with this platform. I signed up only to buy a few credits for one or two images, and I added my card strictly for that purpose. At no point did I knowingly activate a subscription, and I never received any email reminder, warning, or notification about a renewal or upcoming charge.
Almost a week later, a subscription fee was taken from my card without any notice. When I reached out to support, they initially offered only half a refund, even though I had not used the subscription at all. Later, they claimed that the renewal was “clearly detailed,” but no message was ever sent before the charge, which feels far from transparent.
I contacted them immediately after noticing the payment, and still the solution offered was minimal and felt more like an excuse than real customer care. It’s disappointing to see companies relying on unclear free-trial mechanisms instead of open communication with users.
Unfortunately, this experience has completely discouraged me from using the platform again. I hope they reconsider their approach, because no service should charge customers without proper notification or refund refusal for something they didn’t use.

je découvre que l'on m'a prélevé 49,90 euros sans que je sache de quoi il s'agit. Je suis juste allé détourer une photo !!! cela fait cher la photo.
J'ai juste la crainte d'être encore prélevé sans que je puisse rien maîtriser.

700 credits de detourage PERDU
Le détourage est parfait, aucun problème de ce côté. Mais attention : j’ai acheté près de 700 crédits et en me désabonnant, j’ai perdu tous mes crédits restants. C’est une arnaque pure et simple, totalement inacceptable et parfaitement malhonnête envers les utilisateurs.

Regarding the credits: we offer two different options — subscriptions and Pay-as-you-go credits, which never expire. In this case, you chose a subscription plan, and as stated in the plan details, subscription credits only remain available while the subscription is active. When the subscription is cancelled, any unused subscription credits expire automatically.
We understand it can be disappointing if this wasn’t what you expected, but the system worked as designed and no credits were taken outside the subscription rules. If you have any questions or need help choosing the best option for your needs in the future, we’re always here to help.

Remove BG makes it so easy! I love that they have a free version, which I originally started using, and then different pay as you go options, which I moved over to as my Graphic Design skills and needs increased. I mostly use Remove BG for creating yearbook designs for our school's yearbook. Plus the customer service has been very helpful when I have a question!

ARNAQUE TOTALE
Ne faites pas confiance à ce site. A FUIR TOTALEMENT. C'est une ARNAQUE. Le site vous propose de supprimer le fond d'une photo pour à peine 1€, sauf qu'avant de vous donner le rendu vous êtes obligés de leur mettre un avis sur Trustpilot, d'où les nombreux bons avis présents qui n'ont pas encore eu de déconvenues. Puis, quelques semaines passent et vous êtes prélevés de 40€ soit disant parce que vous avez souscrit un abonnement. Sauf que vous ne l'avez jamais fait et évidemment vous ne serez jamais remboursés de ce montant-là, car votre banque se refusera d'y faire opposition. C'est une HONTE totale. Je vous incite à signaler cette fraude autant que vous êtes sur les sites d'État dédiés.
