They quote you a price, but the insurance company charges something different. They do not take any responsibility, and tell you they can’t help you, and to have a good weekend. Unfortunately, I can’t upload screenshots, but I’ve emailed them in to admin and I have them saved in case they try to delete the conversation on WhatsApp.

The first year seems to go ok. However, in the subsequent years, they treat you like garbage.

They give you a price for renewal, then the insurance company charges you more than quoted (115€ in my case).

When you confront them with a screenshot of their quotation, Carlos just replies with the couldn’t-care-less response of “sorry I can’t help you”, and you’re left stuck between the insurance company and the classic Spanish administrative non-response.

Be prepared - as a foreigner, you will get ripped off eventually, because these companies know you find it difficult to navigate their archaic and bureaucratic systems, and don’t have much recourse once you’re caught in their web :)

See the attached screenshots from my conversation with Carlos (the ceo, apparently). He quoted 1366€, but they charged 1481€. When I asked Carlos why this happened, when he had quoted a different price, he just washed his hands of the matter saying call the insurance company to discuss, and I can’t help you further… have a good weekend.

Update: after putting this review, he suddenly got back in touch (on the weekend, might I add), to plead for removal of this review, and suddenly had time to contact the insurance company to get more details. He only changed his attitude once he saw this negative review, because he didn’t want others knowing what happens with clients after the agent secures his commission from the insurance company.

Update 2: in response to the reply Carlos has attached to this review: Carlos... your message on whatsapp CLEARLY stated the price as matter of fact. There was no mention of it being an estimate or that the insurance company would come back with another price. It's a pity I can't attach screenshots here, because I'd like to see how you would try to back-track on that.

Additionally, the insurance company did NOT communicate by email, text, written letter, or even via the online customer portal the price increase. They just charged a higher price.

No matter what you say, I contracted the policy through YOU, as you were the agent. You should have made the effort to get the exact price communicated to me, as you have SUDDENLY been able to AFTER you saw my review. Instead, you sent me a message saying (quoted exactly, word for word): "Sohail, me temo que no te puedo ayudar en esta ocasión, que tengas un buen fin de semana."

This does not convey the same message as you have tried to portray in your response below :)

Tuve el placer de trabajar con CABR Relocation Solutions for Expats, y no puedo más que recomendarla. Desde el primer momento, Sofía y Carlos demostraron ser profesionales excepcionales. Son muy personales y cálidos, lo que hace que el proceso de inmigración, que a menudo puede ser abrumador, sea mucho más fácil de navegar. No se sienten como abogados distantes, sino como personas con las que realmente puedes hablar de manera amigable y abierta.

Carlos, Arnaldo, y el equipo son los mas informados y eficientes con seguros de salud. Tuvimos un problema con otro agente con muy poco tiempo antes de nuestra citas al consulado y nos salvaron con sus servicios. Si tuviera que hacerlo de nuevo, los habría contratado también para la solicitud de visa. Muy recomendable.

We were moving from Germany to Spain with our two dogs and while that seems like it should be easy peasy as EU citizens, it was very much not and we couldn’t have done it without Naldo and Carlos. With immense patience, Naldo helped us not just find a flat in Galicia and navigate cultural differences but also kept our spirits up as we experienced setback after setback in our search. Despite usually primarily working with US-Americans moving to Spain, CABR adapted quickly and easily to the slightly different requirements for EU citizens. And once we had finally found a place, they checked everything from the landlord’s registration to the rental contract to make sure we were making a safe and sound decision. Knowing Carlos was looking at everything from a lawyer’s perspective was very reassuring. But most importantly, they were cheering us on and rooting for us at every step, and this level of care made things so much easier in a stressful time. It is safe to say that CABR truly went above and beyond for us and we are happily recommending them to any other future immigrants to Spain.

Con su ayuda obtuve el NIE y el seguro médico, abrí una cuenta bancaria, firmé un contrato para alquilar una propiedad en Alicante y solicité el visado "no lucrativo" sin ningún problema y por un precio muy razonable.
Sofía y Carlos siempre estuvieron disponibles, estuvieron al tanto de todos los pasos necesarios para el trámite requerido y tuvieron excelentes sugerencias. Cuando llegue el momento de comprar una propiedad en España, definitivamente utilizaré sus servicios.
