Very disappointing experience with…

Very disappointing experience with ReHome.

We contacted them to sell several large items (dishwasher, oven, bed, TV table, dining table, etc.) before moving out. Our estimated value was around €500. They initially offered €90, then later dropped to a “final offer” of €30 for everything, which is completely unreasonable.

Due to time pressure, we accepted and scheduled a pickup for 8:00 AM on our move-out day. We confirmed the night before but received no reply. On the day itself, they simply did not show up and completely ignored all messages. No communication, no explanation.

This left us in a very stressful situation, having to remove everything ourselves last-minute before our handover.

This experience felt misleading and, at times, borderline exploitative given the time pressure involved. I would not recommend this service.

We’d like to clarify that the initial €90 indication was based on a larger set of items. As several items were no longer included, the updated €30 offer reflected the remaining items and their resale value. As we focus on providing budget-friendly furniture for students, offers may differ from personal expectations. If you were aiming for around €500, a private sale would likely be more suitable.

We are currently improving our communication process to prevent similar misunderstandings in the future.

They helped me with my moving

They helped me with my moving. It was easy and they answered all the questions beforehand. Even though the time that they promised to be available has been moved by a bit due to unexpected circumstances, the communication was still there and clear. Really nice guy that helped me as well with the moving. Their service is top class in my opinion, and I would always recommend them!

Really satisfied!

I was initially not sure about the company because they gave a very low quote but the reason why it's so low made me go for it. They move your stuff in a sustainable way which makes it cheaper for everyone just with a little longer delivery time which honestly helps if you are in between contracts.

I will recommend Rehome to everyone!

My move with ReHome went extremely well, the mover was efficient, arrived one time and made sure my move went as smooth as possible. They also replied fast by message and gave me my price estimation as soon as they could. I definitely recommend using their services

Very negative experience

Very negative experience! I texted them and we decided on a date for the move and they gave me a price, one day before the move I texted them to ask what time where we meeting the next day and then they said that they would have to charge me more (200€) as it was last minute….which was so much higher than the initial price they offered.

We would like to clarify the situation transparently.

After sharing the initial price and proposed date, we did not receive a response to our planning message for over 24 hours. In our system, this typically means the request is no longer active, as we handle a high volume of daily inquiries and cannot keep time slots reserved without confirmation.

As a result, the original time slot was allocated to another customer. When you reached out again one day before the move, the only available option was outside of regular shift hours. These last-minute arrangements require additional costs, including extended working hours for two team members, which explains the higher price.
We always aim to keep our pricing transparent and fair, and the original price would have remained valid if the booking had been confirmed within the planning window.
