Im a novice writer simply trying to turn my memoirs into a book. While google docs was great at first, I needed a platform designed for creating books. Ive only used Reedsy for a week, but already Im liking it a lot.

Reedsy has helped me develop a good habit of writing more of my story everyday. It has a great goals and insight feature which help me set targets for my word count and a tracker to show me how much I’ve written everyday as well as a target feature that lets you set a goal of how much you want to write in a given time period.

This was my first time working with an editor. Reedsy is a very user friendly platform, which allows you to filter to find an editor that fits your needs. You can read their bio, see books that they have previously collaborated on. I was really nervous and had no idea what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to find the editor I chose to work with. I started my search in December and by the end of March I had the report from my editor back in hand. I highly recommend Reedsy, and I will definitely use this site for future projects.

I love using them to help with spelling and love how they order up the chapters to acutally seem in order with a real book and really like how they mangage the word count

I find it very clean and very easy to use. It has really simplified the process of writing which I greatly appreciate. Also, I met my amazing cover designer there and I'm in love with how it looks.

okay, this is a revision of my initial bad review. I'm still very disappointed that Reedsy didn't find one single reviewer for my memoir but after I aired my displeasure, somebody stirred and offered me a full refund. I would have preferred a review but at least I'm no longer out of pocket. It's kind of sad that's what it takes but I have no hard feelings. Reedsy offered me good and professional service before, so I'll let it rest.
