It was very quick and easy to get a quote to scrap a car. Received a call back in less than 24hrs with a reasonable quote which I accepted. Vehicle could’ve been picked up next day but I had to delay. Good to know they were ready to collect quickly though. Christine was great over emails arranging everything with me. They were great at avoiding a collection time that wouldn’t work for me which I appreciated. Collection went smoothly and didn’t take long at all. Got paid within a few hours of the car being collected. Overall would definitely use them again!

I used the scrapping service as my car failed its MOT quite badly. Honestly it was so quick and efficient. I got a call back Friday for a very good quote, I booked it all in with no stress, the girl was so lovely and answered all my questions. My car was picked up Monday morning and the money was transferred in the afternoon. Cannot fault reclamet at all:)

As a DIY Motorist, I've been a customer for many years well before the racking system went up in the 1990s.

The parts I usually buy vary from wings, doors, exhaust heat shields, tyres and trim parts.

Today I went into the parts office, because I needed a heater resistor pack connector from the wiring loom of a corsa d/e. The women said reclamet don't have that part. I'm standing in the office, I can see through the window, there were quite a few corsa's on the racks. I said to her, it just needs a pair of cutters to just snip it out. She refused and was adamant reclament didn't have that part.

Over the last few years, I've asked for;
A Steal pressed wheel for a Fiesta.
Fiesta Mk7/7.5 windscreen side trim pieces.
Peugeot 107/Citroen C1/Toyota Aygo roof gutter trim.

Each time for the above items, I'm told you don't have them, even though I can see the cars with parts from the window in the yard.

Before the lockdown, I turned up, asked for what parts I wanted, then took a hi viz vest, and waited by the barrier for someone to get the parts for me.

Back in the 1990s before the racking, I just filled a bucket/box with bits I wanted, and Michael in the parts office would price it up.

It's just become impossible to buy parts locally from reclamet that I usually buy.

Helpful from the start and the best price found! I called for a quote which was quick and easy and when I didn’t have my V5 they had a solution for me too. My driver Mark was excellent too. He was quick, considerate and a great help.

Nothing bad to say about Reclamet, I have had 2 cars picked up from Reclamet and both experiences were faultless.
On this occasion, I had submitted a quote for scrap online but I hadn't received anything within 3 days (I believe this was user error) I emailed Reclamet and they got back to me within 24 hours, they completed my quote for me & arranged pick up really quickly. The money had deposited into my account the same day, on top of that I forgot to cancel my tax, I emailed Reclamet again and within 24 hours they come back with the V5 reference for me to cancel my tax. Incredibly helpful. The man who picked the car up was amazing (I didn't catch his name) & Christine via email was extremely helpful.

I needed to dispose of my old car and after hearing the radio advert filled in the online form to request a quote. I was contacted by Siân Crow for some additional details. And she was knowledgable, efficient and a delight to converse with. I received a very acceptable quote within the hour. And arranged pick up the vehicle for the following day. The drive and office communicated with me about arrive time and what documents were required. Driver was friendly and quickly loads the car. And I was paid within hours via bank transfer.
