Called and requested that a technician help me with my DIY simulator. I purchased the G1000nxi suite and I could not get it started. I purchased FAA flight charts for my set up and to troubleshoot a startup issue.
I use my FAA non-certified flight simulator to keep my IFR skills up-to-date and to get me ready for FlightSafety before SIM training. It really helps me a lot even though I’ve been flying for many years as an Airline Transport Pilot.
Christopher called me at 6:30 AM after setting up an appointment the week prior. Got him set up remotely and he took care of everything talking to me along the way.
Christopher is user friendly for somebody of my non-expertise and got everything going!
Now a pop-up window comes up to start the simulator with X-Plane 12. I am working on building the instrument panel and upgrading the rudder pedals, yolk, and throttle quadrant.

Ein Händler in Europa hatte mir eine defekte Audio Panel Einheit verkauft und war über absolut keinen Weg mehr erreichbar. Dies hatte ich erst nach über einem Jahr gemerkt, weil noch zu unerfahren mit dem gesamten Flugsimulator und daher auch keine frühere Beanstandung meinerseits. Kundensupport Direktor Nick hat sich prompt um mein Anliegen gekümmert und ohne Umstände eine kostenlose Reparatur umgesetzt. Sicher lag es auch an der Art des Defektes(nachweisbar kein Handhabungsfehler), aber für mich war das sehr wertvoll. Endlich mal echter Service und nicht wie in Deutschland wo man immer noch die “Service-Wüste” lebt! Es tut so gut wenn man auch mal positive Erlebnisse hat und nicht immer nur Ablehnungen gegenüber steht. Würde jederzeit wieder von der Firma kaufen. Thank you!

I’ve purchased a few items from this company in the past, and at the beginning of May, I purchased another component to complete my flight sim. Although their website did not indicate any backlog when I ordered, I was emailed by the company within a week that my order would be delayed until the end of May as it was on back order. I waited until the last week of May to follow up and made several attempts to find out the status on the 5/27, 5/28 and 5/30. I saw on their site on 5/27 that there was no indication of the item that I purchased being out of stock. Their site says the item (GFC500) is in stock and would be shipped in 2/3 days. I have been waiting for over 3 weeks and nothing. To this date, they have not responded… or even given a courtesy to advise of the status. Their customer service has degraded and it seems they don’t like to advise customers that things are out of stock. So be warned… this company lacks in service and fortunately there are other options out there for flight sim components of equal or better quality…and much better service.

Die G1000 Suite ist eine tolle Erweiterung für den Flugsimulator. Das Produkt wirkt hochwertig und läßt sich super bedienen. Der Support hat gut geholfen und die Bedienung ist sehr leicht. So macht Fliegen Spaß.
