I paid $300 for 200 minutes to translate a Spanish video into English, expecting a professional result. The initial sample they provide is excellent—honestly, it sets very high expectations. Unfortunately, the actual experience is completely different.

Once I started using the platform with real content (in my case, one-hour videos), everything fell apart. Each video took over two hours just to render captions, and then another two hours to finalize. After waiting all that time, I realized the translation was inaccurate and the voiceover was inconsistent, changing speed throughout the video in a way that made it unusable.

I also tried uploading an SRT file to improve accuracy, but that didn’t help at all. The issues persisted across multiple attempts.

Customer support has been extremely disappointing. I even received a message acknowledging they are still working on the software and apologizing for the problems—which confirms the product is not ready. It has now been almost six days, and I still don’t have a usable video. This caused a serious issue because I needed the content for a professional presentation.

Based on my experience, this tool is not suitable for large or professional projects. It might work for very short videos (1–3 minutes), but it is clearly not built for corporate-level needs.

At this point, I am still waiting for a response regarding a refund or cancellation.

Overall, this has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a paid software tool. I would strongly recommend avoiding it for any serious use.

all i get is a turning wheel, their main features dont even work, it should produce the translation but i get nothing waited 1h.

Hace años habría comentado positivamente sobre esta pagina. Los resultados eran buenos, se podían hacer más cosas gratuitamente... pero ahora es una sombra de lo que fue. Ahora, además de solo poder subir 3 videos y no poder descargar nada más que el audio, también te ponen otras tres restricciones: el no poder descargar NADA sin pagar, no poder retraducir sin PAGAR y ahora tienes una cuenta atrás de 3 dias hasta que tu cuenta gratuita se bloquee. Sinceramente, no tiene ningún sentido nada de esto, como voy a probar las funciones y como funcionan si no me dejan hacer absolutamente NADA? No lo sé, pero desde luego, mientras esto siga así, no podré volver a usarlo, y es una pena porque hace años era una gran página. Lastima que la avaricia les haya roto el saco, por que así lo que pasara es que cada vez se queden con menos gente... :-(

Accurate translations, user friendly interface, killer voice-cloning feature (you can hear yourself speaking most random languages). Top level support with a human assistant (which is hard to encounter in our days of chats with bots in every online tool). Great for team collaborations.

Really loved the opportunity to FIRST try THEN pay. They give 3 minutes for free to try, which in my case is important as my videos are specific in vocabulary (cooking/gastronomy) and I need several languages, so needed to see the quality ad the editor before paying.
Another thing that works for me is the Teamspaces - a really handy way to invite native speaking team members to check and polish before the final cut.

Stay Away from Rask. No response from Support. No ability to cancel your contract. I'll be happy to continue to write a one-star review each day until I get a response.

I cancled my subscription before it ran out, for sure. Then about 4 months later they tried to charge my card for $1441.00. My original sub had been $582, and it was 100% cancled. These people are real life gangster mafia scammers straight up. So dirty!

Warning: Useless Product and No Accountability from RASK
We had high expectations for RASK as our partner in our international expansion. We invested what was for us a significant amount of money in a software agreement, not to mention considerable internal resources and external subcontractors, to use their platform for translating our videos into six languages. Unfortunately, we encountered a series of serious issues.

A Product Full of Errors
From the very beginning, we faced countless technical issues that rendered the translations unusable. In some languages, up to 95% of the translated segments were incorrect! We repeatedly reported these problems to their support team and were consistently promised that updates would resolve them. However, the promised improvements never came.

Ruined Growth Plans and Significant Financial Losses
Due to RASK’s failures and their inability to deliver a functional product, we were forced to abandon or postpone our international expansion. This has had catastrophic financial consequences for our company, as we have wasted both time and money on a tool that simply does not work.

No Accountability – Just Contractual Evasions
When we finally requested a refund, we were met with a standard legal rejection, citing their contract, which they claim absolves them of any responsibility. But what good is a contract if the product does not deliver what was promised? We have attempted to engage in a real dialogue with them—even reaching out to their CEO—but have received no response.

Manipulated Reviews?
We also noticed that 84% of the reviews on Trustpilot rate RASK with just one star, highlighting that we are far from alone in our experience. The only 5-star review was written by an employee at RASK, which is not credible and creates a misleading image of the company.

Conclusion: Stay Away from RASK!
If you are considering using RASK, think twice. They sell a product that does not work, promise improvements that never come, and take no responsibility for the consequences their failures have on their customers.

We have lost a significant investment and potential revenue due to their shortcomings, and we want to warn others against ending up in the same situation.

It's slowly enough. I've been working with it for weeks and recently the lip sync isn't working properly and I haven't had any help for almost a week. My plan will soon run out with all the minutes that I couldn't use because of it. I paid several hundred dollars! Please help me!

A quick money grab.

With every new technology, we see the same pattern emerging. Just as altcoins and Bitcoin grew extremely popular, many people started services aimed at making an (easy) buck.

Some have good intentions; others, not so much.

The AI world faces the same issue. It's becoming more challenging to find decent services, which is why I feel compelled to warn about this one.

It's not that good.
It's expensive for what you get.
This might be fine on its own, but the real problem is that they are not responding to my question about whether I could receive a refund after being accidentally subscribed for another month.

I needed this subpar service only once and paid $150 for a month. Unfortunately, due to my own mistake, I didn’t immediately unsubscribe.

After seeing yet another $150 charged to my credit card, I contacted their support. Multiple times. I never received an answer—not even a "sorry, we can't refund." And just for this, they deserve a one-star rating.

The trial worked pretty well, but with real size videos it was absolutely useless. Takes forever, random errors, lip sync is completely off ... Support is non existent or can't help. I regret spending money on this, never again.

Son unos estafadores y auténticos sinvergüenzas. En la web te dicen que hay una opción gratis pero es falso: cuando vas a cargar cualquier vídeo te pide escoger un plan de pago. Es solo un gancho para engañarte. No caigas.
