Not the best delivery
Product was covered in a black dust, like soot, my hands were covered when I opened the parcel. A length of bronze had been taped to a larger piece of brass sheet, risking damage to it. The sheet was partially covered with protective film, but was scratched. Sadly, not a service to recommend to others.

With regards to the sheet, only one side will be coated with a protective film so the other side will be subject to scratches/ blemishes. I have used this Company several times…
I have used this Company several times and found them to be very good in terms of prices and process. The web site is easy to use, however, there is scope for improvement, 1) I keep my orders to below 2kg so they come by Royal mail as all other courier have proved unreliable, so a weight "totting" up in the basket would be good. 2) As a retired Aircraft Eng my current knowledge of steel specs and their qualities isn't great so better explanation on the website for each grade would be most helpful.

Website is well designed which makes placing an order easy. Material can be cut to size which is a great help, communication is excellent. I received the goods extremely quickly, I would not hesitate to recommend this company .

Great company!
I use Rapid Metals fairly regularly for material purchases and I have never had any issue. Material is always well packaged and in good condition (which is more than can be said for some other suppliers). Prices are competitive for the service they provide.

As timed served in the mechanical Engineering industry, now spending my retirement enjoying model making, I find ‘Rapid Metals’ a life saver as this hobby requires working with small sizes and quantities which are not readily available locally.
