Found a rare programme from a Cambridge Footlights revue that I was after. Initially spoke to Helen who was very helpful followed by Philip who sent me photos of every page (24 pages) so that I could see that it was as described and the content.
The price was agreed and a Paypal invoice was sent and paid on the Saturday. Item was despatched on Monday and arrived on Tuesday, excellently packaged to avoid any damage in the post. Excellent service all round and would definitely use again and recommend to anyone.

I have dealt with Helen and Philip for several years and will continue to do so as the books they buy in and sell onto the public are immaculate irrespective of their age - I am VERY fussy about the condition of the books I buy (often what are referred to as 'collectible') and know I will get them from Rainfordparrisbooks.

I have recently purchased a quite rare and unusual early childrens' book from Rainfordparrisbooks. I found it posted on their abe website and ordered it online.
I received pretty immediate confirmation of my order, and the title was despatch straight away too, with tracking details supplied to me. It arrived excellently packed as promised.
I was fully satisfied with the book: it matched the full description given very accurately, which is not easy as books of this nature generally have significant signs of enthusiastic use (and hence wear) from the early juvenile owners. There can be a tendency for dealers to slightly idealistic in their descriptions, but this one was very realistic and accurate.
A final pleasing aspect was that I thought the price for the book (quite expensive) was reasonable and reflected both its rarity and condition.
